He was very helpful and was willing to spend a lot of time with us explaining the pros and cons of each available piano without trying to move us towards any particular one. He made our options and our alternatives very clear leading to a confident decision on the piano we chose. All in all an excellent shopping experience and we were somewhat pleasantly surprised to have that piano delivered the same evening by two very skilled and helpful installers. I am sad to report that we had a miserable experience with Donna Henry. Instead of support and…read moreencouragement, my adolescent daughter felt tension and received criticism in her voice lessons with Donna. After the first lesson, Donna did not permit me to attend further lessons, stating that having parents in lessons made the student nervous. But after 2 months of my daughter constantly reporting that she did not enjoy her lessons, I finally decided to sit in on a lesson, to Donna's displeasure. What I witnessed confirmed everything my daughter had been sharing. Then, immediately after the lesson, I received a scathing unprofessional email from Donna, blaming me that the lesson went poorly because of my "negative energy." She then proposed that we end lessons at the end of that month, to which I prudently agreed. But then she refused to follow through with her offer and decided instead to not give us any lessons for the remainder of the month that I had already paid for, falsely citing studio policy violations, which I never committed. She proceeded to send numerous unsolicited vitriolic emails, to which I never replied in kind. So I offer this as a warning to the community. I have several kids who play different instruments, and up until now, we have always enjoyed positive relationships with various music teachers. This experience with Donna is unprecedented. I have since discovered from members of a local music association that I am not the first one to be the target of her unwarranted acrimony. I pray others may be spared the damage we endured.

Two hours later when I returned, he was still "finishing up". What a jerk...and a know-it-all. He wanted me to write a check in his name, not Piano Works, which made me even more suspicious of his legitimacy. I don't believe anything was taken.
