Speedy and Captain Jet made a great team for this morning boat Eco tour! We saw manatees (four) in the wild (okay, well the Banana River--not in a zoo), bottle nose dolphins (a pod of them), including a very curious baby dolphin who played and dived at the sides of our boat for awhile. We also saw cormorant birds, brown pelicans, the rare and elusive "greenie" bird, and a red cardinal. The water was clear, the sun was shining, and it was a calm, fine day for weather in the secure pontoon boat with our guides. We also got to touch a harmless comb jellyfish and the guides had fun stuff for the kids to do. My favorite part was the cooler full of sodas and waters!!! Thanks for a fun time on the Banana River. We will not forget you. :-) This is a tour for all ages and I would like to point out two Cocoa Beach locals were on the tour and said that they go "often" even though they live here! Brilliant !! After a long drive from Land O Lakes and tailback on I4 and another accident slight hold up I was very concerned we would miss the tour but we arrived with 7 minutes to spare. The boat was there virtually full up, asked if time to visit the restroom, oh yes the skipper said. My niece was with me from the UK. Another couple arrived after we had departed but the skipper had not taken the boat too far so he turned around and we went back to pick them up, excellent customer service !! This tour is wonderful, we saw so much and learnt so much, not going to give too much away so others can enjoy the experience the crew give. Strongly suggest using sunscreen, even though the wind was cool the sun was strong which my niece found later looking like a beetroot !! Crew kept asking if we wanted the awning pulled over and to use sunscreen but all was declined. Free water and soda too ! Yes would recommend highly. Thank you :) read more

I cannot recommend this tour enough! My friend and I found this last minute and booked a trip before we were flying home. This was hands down the best part of our entire trip. Our tour was led by two ladies who knew so much about the area and you could tell they genuinely loved showing it to people. I saw other reviews that said it seemed intrusive but it's also an area that is frequented by kayakers, boaters, and fishers so that isn't true at all. Also, the best part is that they focus on not disturbing the animals in their habitat. That alone made this tour worth it. We were able to enjoy the animals but on their own whim, not us antagonizing them. read more

This tour is excellent for anyone who would like to see wild life in Cocoa Beach. The guides were very knowledgeable and very entertaining as well. They took the time to get to know their guests and they explained what we were seeing on every part of the tour. They took care of us and told us that if we needed anything to let them know. We were lucky enough to see a mother and her baby manatee. The respect the guides had for nature and the area surrounding us was evident. They even gave us excellent food recommendations and places to look for more wild life. I cannot recommend them or this tour highly enough. VERY worth the money spent!! read more

Booked this tour based on reviews on TripAdvisor, WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! The two-person crew was extremely friendly and very engaged with children/families. Our boat trip was a two-hour adventure where we saw many local birds, and to our extreme delight DOLPHINS! The crew moved us closer and we got to stay as long as we liked! My two kids even got to "captain" the boat on the ride back in. It was DEFINITELY worth the cost, my only wish is that I had brought more cash as a tip! This was such a wonderful 2 hours!!! Highly recommend it! Wasn't sure what we were getting into but childhood friends Captain Sean and Speedy our tour guide were so amazingly knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife! We saw mutiple dolphins numerous times and they were even swimming right along side our boat! Spotted a manatee and pelicans and a Great Blue Heron and here babies in her nest. We had a wonderful time on this relaxing boat tour. We had our 3.5 year old who was the only child on the boat and he had a great time. The boat is super safe and secure and he could walk around. They also kept him entertained with some treasures and let him drive the boat!! We saw manatees, birds, a stingray and many dolphin spottings close to our boat. Drinks are offered, very friendly nice couple of folks. Took the family for a 2 hour tour, boat was accommodating and no set course so it made for some fun exploring. We were able to see 2 Manatees and several dolphins, all kinds of birds. Slight rain hit and just made everything more beautiful. We took our kids and grandkids on the Wild Side excursion. We had a blast. Kids ranged in age from 7-13. Adults were 23 to 73 years old. We all had a great time. Our host Speedy made us feel welcome. He was able to establish a relationship with all on board. He had excellent knowledge, a sense of humor, and a welcoming style that invited questions and interactions. August 2021 I went to Cocoa Beach and took the boat ride. The ride was very relaxing and comfortable. The people who gave the tour were very friendly, nice and courteous. The boat ride tourist guides were very informative about various things on the ride. The amount of time for the boat ride was definitely long enough. I really enjoyed the boat ride and do recommend it if you are in Cocoa Beach. read more

I've been on quite a few tours on the Indian and Banana Rivers in Brevard County and Wildside Tours is by far the best. They go searching for the dolphins and stay there for a long time to make sure you have a great experience. They are also wonderful with children and let them steer the boat if they want to. This tour is a must! Rusty and Pete are great fun and very knowledgeable about the entire area and wildlife. The boat is clean, comfortable and entirely shaded. The pair are extremely wonderful with all the kids, all ages. We have a 5 year old and a 13 year old. Both loved the trip around the lagoon and got to drive the boat! Wonderful family activity. Tonya and Speedy were amazing guides. They were laid back and just as excited as we were to see wild life. They were knowledgeable about the wildlife which made everything interesting. We were able to have beer which was fun for adults. Also everyone was able to stand on the boat and move around without having to wear life jackets which made everything more comfortable. This is the best tour ever! If you love nature or just to relax on a boat I highly recommend this tour. They're very good with children and make things as fun as they can. We saw dolphins, manatees and all kinds of shore birds Evan a bull shark. They include nonalcoholic drinks and don't mind you bringing snacks. They let you walk around and stand up . This tour was AMAZING. 2 hours long and exactly as described. If you're worried about seasickness don't be it literally felt like we were on land! Provided free drinks and binoculars and is equally as informative as it is fun. Very reasonably priced as well. I would recommend this to everybody who comes here. Great tour. Friendly, knowledgeable ladies who made sure we saw all there was to see. A great value. We (two adults, four kids) were able to Uber from our cruise ship...way better tour than what the cruise offered, at a way better price, without the hassle of being herded by the cruise folks.
