In fact, my grandma personally calls Wildflowers every time she receives a bouquet because she loves them so much! So, when it came to planning our May 2025 wedding, it was an easy decision for James and me to have Sean and his incredible team design our floral arrangements. From the moment you walk into their beautifully curated store, where you'll want to smell every candle (at least I do) and admire every piece of decor, you know you're in good hands. We gave Sean a few inspiration photos and our color palette but otherwise trusted his team's creative expertise. The flowers completely exceeded our expectations!! Sean is not only a true professional but also a floral mastermind. He guided us through every step, answered all our questions, and brought our vision to life in the most magical way. We were especially lucky that Sean joined us for our venue walkthrough in Manhattan a few days before the wedding. I ordered a bouquet for 70th birthday and a completely different bouquet was delivered, the bouquet was small and not in a rectangular basket as ordered, but in a vase. Today is my birthday and I walked into Wildflowers looking for a yellow bouquet to match my birthday dress for photos. The lady in there told me they don't have bouquets made but they could make one for me. I felt so bad because I needed the bouquet right away and they completely accommodated for me. The man who made the bouquet asked me how much I wanted to spend and I told him no more than $40. His vision is grand, his ideas are limitless; but he also understands budgets and if there's a need to scale back he is open to it and provides a million options to make your vision work at your price point. The bouquet they made up for my wife was beautiful. That said, it was nothing at all like the advertised bouquet on their site. And the base was a completely different shape, it was the basic base you'd expect and the one I saw and thought I was getting was very different. Now I understand that substitutions are sometimes made, but to send a totally different arrangement is unacceptable in my opinion. I would never use them again because of that. I've been getting flowers for Valentine's Day forever and I have never been to a florist and had an issue like this. My boyfriend had ordered the first picture I'm attaching on the website before Valentine's Day to be delivered. When they arrived the flowers looked absolutely nothing like the picture. The picture has 20 roses we only received 4 and the white flowers in the picture look nothing like what we received. If a florist cannot give what's in the picture they should not be able to put it on their website it's false advertisement. When we called to complain the woman on the phone said " it's Valentine's Day so we are very busy" saying that they were busy so that's why unbelievable. Got a refund and went to movarian florist instead and got the most beautiful flowers at the new florist. Save your money and go to a florist that will give you what you paid for !! read more

I was stuck between a rock and a hard place whether or not I should get flowers for a first date I went on with my bow girlfriend! I went into wildflowers in hopes to get an answer to my question and sure as heck I did! The amazing staff of Michael & Sean helped me come to the decision that I was indeed going to bring flowers on a first date though all social media platforms and even my sister said not to. They put the most beautiful little arrangement together for me and didn't go "to much" for a first date. Michael & sean are extremely knowledgeable on flowers and situations they seem appropriate for. My fiancee and I reached out to Wildflowers to discuss our upcoming wedding. We were able to get an appt for the following week after we called. The owner was very nice to us during the meeting and seemed very excited to work with us. He showed us his work which was absolutely beautiful so the feeling was mutual about being excited to work together. After that meeting, he was supposed to get back to us with a quote in a few days, based on what we discussed. My fiancee and I called for 4 weeks straight before he finally emailed us a quote that was twice what our budget was. We emailed back stating that and he said he would still be able to create our dream wedding without compromising our vision. We wrote him and called him to try to come in again and talk further, sign our contract and move forward with him.....and he never got back to us, its been over a month and a half. We still have not heard from him. While Wildflowers does do beautiful work, as a bride and groom who already have so much to do and worry about, you shouldn't be chasing down a vendor for weeks and weeks and paying them thousands of dollars if their service is poor. There are many florists who provide both beautiful quality work but also provide good customer service. We are happy to say we found another florist who is very responsive and helpful. The woman who answers the phone is extremely pleasant and understanding. The owner on the other hand is someone I wouldn't do business with again. As a customer who has ordered a few pieces here before I thought I was able to trust his judgment. I purchased a calilly piece as bereavement arrangement. Instead I received wilted white and pink daffodils, calillies at the bottom that were not placed properly, and greenery that just didn't match. Nothing about the arrangement flowed or made sense. It was untastefully done, with little to no effort and met none of the standards i thought their business held. The woman completely understood my frustration as wanted to help me; where the owner had her tell me daffodils cost more, he's not going to redo it, it's impossible they were wilted, and pretty much that was the end in his mind. I emailed proof. He wouldn't speak to me and refused to send a proper replacement. The woman issued me a full refund and went to Moravian instead, with a much larger arrangement, fresh flowers, and outstanding service for the same price. read more

Ordered an arrangement on their website for a funeral around the corner at Hanley Funeral Home Inc 60 New Dorp Lane. Received a confirmation email with my order #. Called the next day to confirm delivery & they said they never received the order. They claimed it must have been denied & sent to another florist. I offered to forward the confirmation email they sent me & they claimed to have no email to forward it to! Strange! Asked why they would advertise an arrangement on their website that they do not handle. Said that Teleflora is in charge of their website. Spoke to Teleflora, said they have nothing to do with business websites, just a subcontractor for florists. Called my credit card & no charge has appeared, YET. Very sketchy business. BEWARE. Let's get the obvious out of the way...Wildflowers does a beautiful job most of the time but is very expensive. With that said I had used Sean to do my mothers 60th birthday dinner and probably spent about 3500 dollars for place cards, custom menus, flowers, candles and linens. He came in decorated the table and did a great job. This was in June. Fast forward to December of 2014 and I called him and said lets decorate my home for Christmas and do my table scape for Christmas Eve dinner. He charged me a 400 dollar consultation fee to come to my home. I had him do a custom wreath which he charged me over 400 dollars for. It was pretty but it wasn't shitting out gold. Not sure what possessed me to spend that much on a fresh wreath. He then did custom garland on my railing for $450 dollars and custom garland on my mantle for $400 dollars. It was pretty but let's be real he ripped me off on that also but that's fine because I liked it. I also asked him to decorate a table setting for me with fresh flowers, candles, napkin rental, glass rental, linens rental, and chair rental, I was only having approx 14 guests. He charged me 1,000 dollars. Most people thought I was smoking crack when I said I paid that much to have someone decorate a table for Christmas. I know he does a good job so I figured it would be worth it. P.S. He decorates my table over the course of 2 consecutive days. He brings me half broken chairs that are wobbley and falling apart and I said Sean I'm not happy with these chairs they look like crap and are breaking. He brushed off the comment and did nothing. Then he sets the table with the table cloth which was a basic but beautiful traditional plaid cloth that draped down to the floor, next he put candles on the table that I literally saw the same ones in Dollar Tree, followed by napkins that were frayed and looked like shit. I go Sean this doesn't look like 1,000 dollars and he goes just wait until I bring the floral arrangement tomorrow. At this point I gave him 500 dollars as a deposit for the table and asked my friends and neighbors to come over and see his work. When I told them how much I was paying and the work he had done they looked at me like I was out of my mind. I called him back and said Sean I'm Not happy. The chairs are awful, the napkins are basic napkins, the candles are ghetto and I can't see how a floral arrangement will make the table look like it was worth $1,000. I said forget the flowers and I will just pay you the 500 for what you had already done. He basically said OK and hangs up the phone. There was no I am sorry, how can I make it better, let me Bring you new chairs, etc etc. From that point I knew he only cared about the dollar and not his customers and I was disgusted by that. I could see if I was cheap but anyone who spends $1,000 on a table for Christmas dinner wants the table to look like a $1,000 bucks. Now it's an on going joke this Christmas and my friends all say they will decorate my table for $100 dollars and could do a better job. With all that said buyer beware. I would have used him for every single holiday, family event etc but he truly is a rip off and does not care about his customers. I live nearby and never see this place being open. I have called and passed by and can't seem to ever get anyone to answer. My mother and I passed by once and got lucky that the door was finally open! The items inside are my style! Very antique, vintage and rustic. They do centerpieces, invitations, linens and flower arrangements. They sell jam and have fun items like cheese boards inside. I was told the person who deals with all the arrangements and such would be in the store within the hour and would call me to schedule a real appointment. Beware- Stay far away from this shop!! You will not get what Sean promises you. He does not even provide an actual receipt despite leaving a full deposit (have never dealt with a business that did not provide proof of deposit or balance paid). This is how shady this place is. I ordered centerpieces for an event and ordered the vases in a different color than what he showed me. He showed me a beautiful ceramic vase which looked worth the price paid. What I received was a tacky plastic vase that looked like it came from a dollar store! It was so hideous and tacky that I was embarrassed to have them shown at my event. He promised the flowers would be full, but instead provided flowers that looked like they belonged in a much smaller vase. I actually was supposed to go with a different vendor but chose Sean because he promised a bigger vase and fuller flowers than what the competition would offer for the same price (his words!!). After the weekend, we come back to the office to find the arrangement half dead. it was only 2 days, an arrangement should last at least a week if the flowers are of good quality. Wildflowers may have beautiful arrangements and centerpieces but apparently are too good to call potential customers back. The two times I've gone to inquire about bridal shower themed centerpieces, I was greeted by a female floral consultant who could barely answer any questions and encouraged me to call the owner. I called the store several times that following week and was still unable to reach him. When he finally did return my calls, he didn't listen to my ideas or interests for the centerpieces and rushed me off the phone, stating he'd call me back the next day. Guess what? 2 months have gone by and I'm still waiting. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. read more
