I have been treated by Dr. Sabrina for about a year for my low back pain, from that experience I'd highly recommend her for anyone has chronic pain because 1) she successfully managed my pain level in just a few months and taught me numerous things how I can help myself as well in order to manage and reduce my pain, including breath, sit/stand/sleep posture, hydration, pilates and what things to avoid as possible such as walking on hard surface for a long time which I was not aware of. 2) She is consistently precise on the location and amount of pressure during the treatment with plenty care and respect. I have been working with Dr. Sabrina Marcus of Wildflowers Chiropractic for several months and cannot recommend her work enough. There are many reasons that Sabrina is an excellent chiropractor - detailed adjustments of the entire spine, inclusion of bodywork with deep tissue, and ample time with each patient, to name a few - but she is so much more than that. I joke that Sabrina is 3 parts chiropractor, 1 part therapist, and 1 part older sibling. I have never had a provider be as invested before, and it makes working with Sabrina an incredibly unique and important gift in my life. I have been seeing Dr. Marcus for 4- 5 months now and honestly, my quality of life has improved immensely. I had an extremely complex emergent spinal surgery in May 2022 and then another surgery not quite 6 months later. We moved to Oregon in June of this year and I was not doing well at all. I had pain every single day and was unable to do so many day to day things. Dr. Marcus is an exceptional Chiropractor and just a wonderful person. After trying physical therapy with not much improvement I set up an appointment with Sabrina from a referral and I loved everything so much that I had my husband see her the next day! Over the last decade I have had my share of chiropractors who would quickly address my "issue" with some adjustments before they send me on my way and schedule the following appointment for the same procedure. Sabrina is different. She spends at least an hour discussing progress, pain points, analyzes the core issues that are causing the pain or discomfort and then plans a course of action for the session. She is very thorough and communicative during the appointment and on email/phone. Insurance is a bit tricky due to her session including "soft tissue" work and not only "chiropractic" so it's best if you are willing to pay $$ out of pocket or have the insurance that would pay for it. I've always detested 10 minutes chiro adjustments as I've never felt the care provider spends enough time on each individual body. From the very first appointment, I knew that she would be unlike any other chiropractor I have ever seen (and I have seen quite a few over the years). I had injured my lower back on a hiking trip several years back, had a desk job and just was recently pregnant so I was in desperate need of lower back help. I was barely able to comfortably sleep let alone carry my infant. I've seen Chiros in the past and they all seemed fairly similar - just a quick 5 min adjustment and you're done. Dr. Marcus is WAY different in a good way. She is so thorough and knowledgeable. She says she works on you the way she would like someone to work on her, and it's evident.
