I can't say more positive things about this practice. Very nice staff, decorated in a Tommy Bahama-ish theme. Cool kid prizes in the trunk of a vintage bug. Our hygienist Tiffany was very sweet, took time to build rapport, education on dental care, AND she even gave me advice to rid my baby of her pacifier. This is the stuff I LOVE, the extra mile is so important, and even more so with kids. This is the only cleaning my son didn't cry...this is HUGE for me. It typically is a fight to get a kid to be still during a cleaning. Dr. Sheridan Bunch...she lives up to her name. She gave a bunch of her time. Did fluoride treatments, gave more invaluable dental advice and she even referred us to a good adult dentist, Dr. Bill Robbins. Looking forward to seeing him in the future. :D I felt so special when we walked out and there was a welcome sign for August and Esmé. Then the T-shirts...it was so sweet I may have gotten diabetes if I stayed any longer! LOL! If you need a good pediatric dentist please give them a shout. They are in a swank shopping center with plenty of other things to check out after your cleaning. read more

Best of the best! So amazing with the boys and made them feel very comfortable and always communicated about every step throughout the visit, and talked to the boys in a way that they could understand. Very kind, respectful, and dedicated. read more

THERE computers dont work, they take forever like i dont wanna be at the dentist all day. the people are nice

Everything about the office is great. The staff is so friendly and Dr. Rex is so thorough when discussing procedures and observations during my son's visits. For the kids, his waiting room has plenty to occupy them although we've never waited more than 5 minutes for an appt. The exam rooms are equipped with flat screens and movies so my kids barely notice they are getting a dental exam. I would highly recommend giving Dr. Rex a visit! read more

Wildey Pediatric Dentistry - Coolest waiting area! - Pediatric Dentists Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

We LOVE Dr. Wildey! He revised a lip and tongue tie on my youngest and made the process very smooth and easy for e to understand. We take our oldest here for cleanings, and everyone in the practice makes it an easy experience for kids. We love it here! read more

My children have been treated by both Drs. Rex and Bunch and I cannot say how excellent their bedside manner is. They establish great rapport with my children up front and ease the transition into actual dental visit. Dear Parents, I saw the great reviews on Wildey and like you, ecstatic that my son would benefit from the spectacular services. Eager enough, I contacted them via their website server with questions and was contacted 5 days after by their staff to schedule an appointment (they did not answers any of my questions from my initial contact). What Happened? The Office Assistant, Bianca was kind and prompt to schedule me for an appointment and took all of my insurance details. I SPECIFICALLY asked about "when will the insurance be verified" as I wanted to know prehand any co-pays and out of pocket expenses for our first visit. This is normal for any parent who visits a doctor to have a base understanding of the total costs. The Office Assistant, Bianca, did confirm to me that the office would verify my insurance and contact me in return. Did this happen, no. I received a courtesy call one day prior to the appointment confirming our attendance. Again, I asked that if my insurance had been verified and they stated that every 1st of the month, insurances are verified. It happen to be the 30th and my appointment on the 1st. On the 1st (day of appointment), I was contacted that my insurance was not being accepted as an HMO. My Ask? I clearly asked the office they clarify these details as I initially made my appointment to avoid waiting 3 week for an appointment. Bianca, who was genuinely apologetic heard my frustration. I asked to speak with the Manger who happened to be Jennette. Again, I clearly asked that my insurance be verified in advance as a NEW PATIENT because I lost 1) time and 2) my own PTO from work. I expressed that Dr. Wildey would expect me to show up the appointment and therefore, I would expect that they verify my insurance as a FIRST time patient to help me identify if it was accepted, the cost of my visit, and out of pocket expenses. I don't understand inaccuracy's for first time patients especially when it comes to simple details such insurance verification. I would not trust their billing after this incident considering how inaccurate their processes are. What did I loose? I lost time and vacation time bc I specifically pre-planned my visit to Wildley Dentistry. Jennette, Manager could be as apologetic, but the reality is they dropped the ball. Not even my own personal and child's doctors staff handle my insurance in this manner. What do I need to do? I need to do my job and contact the insurance myself and identify that the provider I selected qualifies. Thanks Wildley Dentistry, you did not fail to teach me a lesson. read more

I love how thorough Dr. Rex is and how great the whole staff is with young toddlers! Everyone makes my son feel so comfortable and makes sure he has everything he needs. I've been bringing him here the past two years and leave every visit satisfied. Highly recommend read more

One of my six year old twins had a fender bender with a table at the zoo. Our regular pediatric dentist was closed, so I called my dentist for a recommendation since we weren't sure of the extent of the damage to his mouth. My dentist recommended Dr Bunch. Dr Bunch and her staff were friendly and attentive. They waited for us and stayed late to take care of my son. Thank you!!!!! Sandra Gonzalez read more

Great dentist office! Our 5yr old is very comfortable here. We have been twice and would recommend him to anyone. The staff are great and very friendly. The office is very clean and welcoming. Bottom line is my kiddo likes it and is comfortable having her teeth examined and cleaned so that is a winner in my book. Plus, it doesn't hurt that the dentist went to Baylor!!!! Sic em! read more

Dr. Wildey was great with my daughter, she loved him. Will continue going here. Great environment and staff.

This place needs 10 stars!!! Wonderful experience for my kiddos. Very friendly and fun staff! Dr. Wildey was so good with my kids and high-fived them when appointment was over. Highly recommend this place! read more

My son has been seeing Dr Rex for a couple of years. He loves going to see the dentist. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They really care about making sure that your child has a great experience. They take the time to talk to them about what steps they need to take to take care of their teeth. Very convenient location. read more

I came in for a 2nd opinion on my daughter's treatment plan. I appreciate the paperwork is all filled out online before you get there. Front office staff was friendly and greeted us right away. When we were taken back the assistant asked a few more questions to understand our situation. Dr. Wildey walked in and he was a straight shooter, very up front about what he can do and not do and having realistic expectations. I like the fact he was not judging me because my daughter has multiple cavities. He took the time to talk to my daughter and get her comfortable. Our previous dentist never did that or offered us different treatment options, porcelain vs. stainless steel crown. Overall it was a pleasant experience and my daughter left happy, which is what Dr. Wildey wants all his patients to be have a good experience and not be terrified of the Dentist. They also offer in-house anesthesiologist, so your not having to travel to another facility. read more

Spent quite a bit of money to fix my son's teeth and the caps and spacers came out. His crowns don't match the rest of the teeth as well. I accepted the substandard work and chose to find someone who knows what they are doing. Then I found out my insurance paid more than what they quoted and some how the office is coming at me with "extra" charges even though they told me my balance was paid the day of treatment. I have called and emailed trying to get more information and they basically blew me off and told me I could look at the charges, but couldn't give me an explanation. Great place! read more

Literally one of the worst dentist offices I've been to. I brought my 3 children here for their first dental appointment and instead of talking my kids through they decided that using force was the way to go and effectively traumatized my kids from the dentist. Do not take your kids here! read more

Today I had to bring my two-year-old in for her first check up, and I was very impressed with this pediatric dentist office. The waiting room was so welcoming for her, plenty of stuff to do and see. But to top it all off the doctor and all the staff are so friendly, that my daughter did not have as much trouble as I thought she would. Just a little bit of tears and that was all. Most of all, she loved her special prize she got to take home for being a good girl. She has been playing with it all day and telling everyone that she went to the dentist. So happy that this will be her dentist until she's a very big girl read more

Dr. Rex and staff are great. They have been taking care of my kid's (who are 7 & 3 yrs old) dental work for a little two years, and I have no complaints. The location is good. The atmosphere is awesome for the kids, so they don't have to feel overwhelmed. I, as a parent, would definitely recommend anyone to come to Dr. Rex and staff. Just the fact, my kids are happy to go see them and leave happy, I know that Dr. Rex and staff are doing an awesome job! read more

Took my two daughters here after a few years at another pediatric dentist. The difference was night and day!! The hygienist Tiffany was so nice and great with my girls made the cleaning really easy! Dr Bunch was great and also very friendly. They have tvs on the ceilings in the exam rooms and an old arcade game in the lobby. They definitely cater to the kids. The best part for me was we were seen promptly at our appointment time and didn't have to wait around for the Dr after the cleaning. Highly recommend this dentist! I'd go there for my teeth if they did adults... read more

My daughter is actually excited to go to this dentist. The waiting room has a VW bus with a tv in it; the children can play, which leads them to relax. The hygienists and Dr. Wildey are very professional and kind. The equipment is modern and there are many toys, ceiling mounted tv's, and cool surf boards to distract kids during their visit. The office is equally professional; payment and scheduling are simple. Very happy to be a patient of this great doctor! read more

We moved to Texas this summer and left behind a wonderful pediatric dentist office back in Nevada. I was nervous about finding a new dentist for my kids since we had been so happy with our last dentist. I asked two local moms and they both recommend Wildey Pediatric Dentistry. We visited for the first time last week and have nothing but rave reviews! The staff was professional and very nice. The hygienist was so personable and made the kids feel very comfortable. Dr. Rex was terrific. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Wildey Pediatric Dentist! read more

Office staff is so nice and they go out of their way to make kids feel comfortable. When you first walk in there is aVW bus for the kids to play in. Rooms have super heroes on the walls and TVs mounted above the chairs. I was super impressed with how accommodating they were, definitely an improvement from their last dentist. read more

Dr Rex and all the techs and front desk are amazing!!! My girls love going! They really care about the kids and their dental well being.

Dr. Wildey and his staff are WONDERFUL! The hygienist team - angels sent straight from heaven! We have worked with a couple of different ones over the course of our last two visits with our two boys and they are so good with kids!! We had some cavities filled today and the whole procedure went so smoothly. Everyone was so relaxed and informative (Dr. Wildey, the hygienists, and even the front desk staff!), which also relaxed this mama bear! Awesome work! My older son gets his cavities filled in a couple of weeks and there is no doubt it will go just as well as today did! Thank you Dr. Wildey and team! read more

Dr. Wildey is GREAT!!!! His office is clean and fun. The staff are nice and make your child feel welcome. My shy 3 yo daughter who hates the 'doctor's office' had no problems here. Very friendly staff! I really enjoyed the overall experience from the moment I entered the practice. Of course... I was running late. I called the front desk and let them know that I was running about 12 minutes late. You know some offices will cancel your appointment and be rude about it but they did not. I feel very comfortable with the staff here with my child. Definitely consider taking yours here if you are in need of a pediatric dentist. read more

Dr. Wildey and his team are fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly and give my child the attention he needs to keep him calm for the dental experience. The atmosphere and decor is fun for kids and keeps my now 1yo distracted enough to not mind his mouth being invaded. What I love most is the minimal wait time to be seen. Young ones get restless easy, but we are always in and out in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Wildey to anyone looking for an excellent experience for their kids. read more
