We turned to Timbercreek, our family veterinary, to assist us with this difficult time and though saying goodbye to our friend was one of the saddest and hardest things i've ever had to do, the people at Timbercreek were kind, empathetic, welcoming, professional, understanding, and considerate and did everything they could to help us through this. They did everything they could to keep him comfortable, as we all held him, petted him, and made him feel safe and loved in his final moments and that meant so much to me. They went above and beyond to accomodate us. We were so out of sorts that morning that I accidentally made the appointment at the wrong location. Once the mistake was realized the other location was actually closed. Despite this they actually stayed and waited for us to arrive. They were kind, and understanding, and despite staying there past closing purely for us they still emphasized that we may take all the time we needed to enjoy our last moments with him, as well as saying goodbye after he was gone. Dr. Fountain was patient and flexible when scheduling and performing a dental cleaning and hind limb radiographs for my dog. When I picked her up, she almost didn't want to leave! We took our 2 dogs a Chihweenie (Glen) and Chihuahua (Pearl)on Friday June 13th expecting to pickup the same day. Pearl had 1 eye and the other was not so good. I indicated that she had health problems and dementia and take good care of her. When we arrived to pickup our dogs no one was there at the kennels. Numerous customers were also waiting to drop off dogs. I looked to where my dogs were and just notice the Glen in the kennel but not Pearl. I walked around and saw her outside which I was surprised because the temp was 85. The worker finally from a different location not at the kennels. She got Glen and then went out to get Pearl and she was dead. They said she wanted out at 3:30 and didn't bring her back in and just left her remaining outside. We arrived at 4:20 waited 10 minutes for someone to come. I said why was she outside when I told you she had dementia and should have been brought back in. We are heartbroken and devastated. I was very nervous leaving them and I will regret this decision forever. She was my baby and died unnecessarily by this place. I have taken our dogs to numerous daycare and never did i experience should a terrible place like this Please anyone who takes their dogs beware. Thank you.

There's been a few times before I've had to call and ask if the boys were done since it was going on 5 hours... And its always "oh yeah they're done." Ok... Then theres times at around 1130-1230 when they would call to say boys are done. Today it was 1600, I was already in Manhattan so I stopped by to ask if boys were done and front desk stated he was wondering why the boys were still here and states "she forgot to call you" WTF!!!??? You forgot??? My boys are not my pets they are my kids!! I DO NOT crate them when they are home so to be cooped up in a crate for over 5 hours is very stressful for them!!! Plus I buy them frozen treats so they can have something while waiting in the crate but their breath doesn't smell like treats so what the fk did I pay for???? They do a great job in grooming, don't get me wrong. But both boys were so stressed out, they didn't even want to play when they got home. And Benny is obsessed with frisbee and ball play. He didn't even want to touch his toys when he got home. To drive from JC to Manhattan back to JC then to Manhattan then back home is too much. It was worth it if customer service was consistent but to forget that someone's loved ones are just sitting in a crate wondering why they were still locked up is just fkd up!!!

And the kennel techs Layla and Aliyah obviously love animals, they were just as sad to see him go as I felt dropping him off. For the first time in his 8 year life he was excited to see vet staff. He started throwing up after eating and they called me and the emergency number I left. When I brought him in to the vet another occasion the techs and assistants remembered him (who aren't part of boarding) he got lots of pets and love. The vet herself was extremely patient and kind and dumbed down things for me. *MAINLY* my boy is reactive and they made sure that he wouldn't have to be in the lobby with other animals. I beyond reccomend this facility, it is full of knowledgeable and caring professionals.

In my experience with kenneling they are great. They are respectively priced and they take care of the animals well. The kennel itself is clean and spacious for animals to be able to move around; not my typical experience with vet/kennel facilities. The front office area is clean and well kept and the staff is also very friendly and knowledgable about their products, processes and procedures. The exam rooms are all decorated differently and are cleaned after each exam. The staff really love and care for the animals in my experience. The reason I have to give this place two stars was due to my last visit. My wonderful (sarcastic) English bulldog ate a top of a spatula and it was lodged in his stomach. Animal doctor were thorough in testing and finding damage caused and processes forward. When it came down to it he was going to require surgery and have the spatula removed. After already spending three hundred dollars in testing and x-Rays, they were pricing the surgery at 800-900 dollars. This was only for the surgery, medication and one day of kenneling overnight for supervision. Needless to say we asked another local vet for typical pricing for this surgery, service and care and were quoted 200 dollars. We decided to have the procedure done at the other vet and explained it was due to pricing. A week after the surgery we received a letter with all medical records for our pets and asked us not to return to animal doctor. They never said a word to my husband or I, just said it was clear we did not trust them with the procedure when we had clearly stated it was a price difference that we could not afford. With this experience I feel this place although provides good services does not have open communication with their customers they have had for over a year.

He has also been itching nonstop so I think the shampoo they used wasn't good. He also has a bunch of scabs behind his ear from the groomer.....I love the prices but not now seeing my dog being scared of us just walking near him calling for my other dog...he's acting like he was no joke hurt and mistreated and odds are that's likely because his breed is very stubborn and only responds to gentle and kind training once you raise your voice they shut down like this....never again.
