She doesn't love to go because she is spoiled rotten but when we do go she will immediately go to Elizabeth. Speaking of Elizabeth - customer service from the office staff here is amazing. They're always polite and accommodating when I call. One review on here says they weren't following instructions to transition their dog's food, resulting in a sick pup, which hasn't been my experience with this staff. I have a dog with a horrible illness called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency and they follow my directions to the letter. She is so sensitive that any deviation from the routine can result in disastrous consequences. She has to have prescription enzymes with every meal and she rarely comes home with an upset stomach. I do not blame the kennel when she does because any dog can come home from a boarding kennel with diarrhea from the stress of the experience. The fact that they're willing to take pets who take daily medication and have to eat 3 times a day is a life saver to me. Instead of being married to my house or constantly stressed about the sick dog while I am away, I can take her to daycare and have parts of my life back. All in all, I wish I could give Wildcat Pet Resort 10 stars, but since that isn't an option, a mile long glowing review will have to do'

We took our 2 dogs a Chihweenie (Glen) and Chihuahua (Pearl)on Friday June 13th expecting to pickup the same day. Pearl had 1 eye and the other was not so good. I indicated that she had health problems and dementia and take good care of her. When we arrived to pickup our dogs no one was there at the kennels. Numerous customers were also waiting to drop off dogs. I looked to where my dogs were and just notice the Glen in the kennel but not Pearl. I walked around and saw her outside which I was surprised because the temp was 85. The worker finally from a different location not at the kennels. She got Glen and then went out to get Pearl and she was dead. They said she wanted out at 3:30 and didn't bring her back in and just left her remaining outside. We arrived at 4:20 waited 10 minutes for someone to come. I said why was she outside when I told you she had dementia and should have been brought back in. We are heartbroken and devastated. I was very nervous leaving them and I will regret this decision forever. She was my baby and died unnecessarily by this place. I have taken our dogs to numerous daycare and never did i experience should a terrible place like this Please anyone who takes their dogs beware. Thank you.

There's been a few times before I've had to call and ask if the boys were done since it was going on 5 hours... And its always "oh yeah they're done." Ok... Then theres times at around 1130-1230 when they would call to say boys are done. Today it was 1600, I was already in Manhattan so I stopped by to ask if boys were done and front desk stated he was wondering why the boys were still here and states "she forgot to call you" WTF!!!??? You forgot??? My boys are not my pets they are my kids!! I DO NOT crate them when they are home so to be cooped up in a crate for over 5 hours is very stressful for them!!! Plus I buy them frozen treats so they can have something while waiting in the crate but their breath doesn't smell like treats so what the fk did I pay for???? They do a great job in grooming, don't get me wrong. But both boys were so stressed out, they didn't even want to play when they got home. And Benny is obsessed with frisbee and ball play. He didn't even want to touch his toys when he got home. To drive from JC to Manhattan back to JC then to Manhattan then back home is too much. It was worth it if customer service was consistent but to forget that someone's loved ones are just sitting in a crate wondering why they were still locked up is just fkd up!!!

Took my yorkie poo here to get groomed after being turned away from Petco because my pup wouldn't…read morelet them anywhere near his face. Animal doctor found that there were open wounds on his face from being attacked by an animal (most likely a raccoon), but it was covered by his hair (so I had no idea). They sedated him, cleaned the wound, finished his grooming, and sent me home with antibiotics and pain meds, all for $100. I was so pleased they took such good care of him and will never go anywhere else for grooming (and everything else). They were understaffed when I went, but still took ample time to explain everything to me and were so nice to my pup. They called me to provide updates and asked before doing anything that would cost more than what was expected. Next month I'm taking him to get some teeth pulled/dental cleaning, and I feel very confident he'll be left in good hands. Also should note - on a normal day (no open wounds), his grooming would only cost $45 here, which is cheaper than PetSmart or Petco, even with their military discount. AND I get peace of mind that he will be cared for properly and taken out to relieve himself. My pup also has major anxiety and typically everywhere we go I get judgement like it's my fault. But not here! They know how to handle animals with these types of issues and don't place the blame on the owner. They did recommended I might bring him in more often (which may sound like a sales ploy) but I could tell they were really wanting to help me get his anxiety under control. I put him on a 6 week grooming routine which also gives me a discount. I think it's going to be perfect for my pup! They also are very upfront about pricing. They take the time to go through quotes and tell you exactly what needs to be done, and what is optional. I'm so incredibly happy I took my pup here!

Regarding grooming: They have "samples" of what the length of fur will be after the groom that are inaccurate, and after telling you that they know the "synthetic hair samples" are inaccurate they do nothing about it to fix the issue. Additionally, they do not attend to notes of what to do. For example, when asked to shave inside of dogs ear (to better manage issues), they did not. None of what was requested met anything close to satisfaction or even acceptable. When confronted about it, they did nothing more than "oh well." Money down the drain, as I already have set up a grooming appointment with another group (4 days from now). Regarding vet services: I had just finished an appointment 5 days ago at their sister office (AD Westside) where my dog had an exam and received some medication for an allergy medication. Their sister office recommended the groomers and said that once I had the forms of what vaccines my dog had from a previous vet office (we just moved), that Blue Hills could administer any vaccines needed prior to the groom. I brought the forms and asked to do the needed vaccines and the grooming, along with a fecal exam (as it was timely). They apparently did an "annual exam," which I did not ask for, as I told them when we arrived for drop of that he just had an exam at their sister office. My point here is to be careful. Read everything they give you, because I misplaced my trust in thinking that what they would say is what I was seeing in an invoice. However that was not the case. Read the other reviews, trust the negative ones for what they are. Sure they were "friendly," but I needed services done accurately and not such that I have to have them redone or where they are redoing an exam that I had just paid for 5 days previously. Honestly I wish I could have given 0 stars for this review. There are other places in and out of town that will better meet your needs, my advice would be to go somewhere else.

And the kennel techs Layla and Aliyah obviously love animals, they were just as sad to see him go as I felt dropping him off. For the first time in his 8 year life he was excited to see vet staff. He started throwing up after eating and they called me and the emergency number I left. When I brought him in to the vet another occasion the techs and assistants remembered him (who aren't part of boarding) he got lots of pets and love. The vet herself was extremely patient and kind and dumbed down things for me. *MAINLY* my boy is reactive and they made sure that he wouldn't have to be in the lobby with other animals. I beyond reccomend this facility, it is full of knowledgeable and caring professionals.
