DO NOT WORK WITH BRAD!!!! There are not enough words in the English language to begin to describe…read morehow badly he has treated my widowed grandmother, who took him at his word because he said he valued honesty and integrity. He clearly does NOT value honest and integrity from himself. He doesn't stand behind the warranties he claims comes with his work (which isn't as quality as his company name insinuates). Ever since my grandmother called him back to fix a leak in her roof (which was still fully under warranty and he should have fixed without any qualms), he has done no substantive work to get the roof fixed (in fact, another company had to come and completely fix all of the work that he had done) and since then he has tried to extort my grandmother out of $1400 for doing absolutely nothing at all - an invoice which he didn't send until two months after he had allegedly done the work. He claims this fee is for attending a meeting with my grandmother's insurance adjuster, which he himself asked to be able to do - my grandmother never asked him to be there, nor was she told he would charge a nearly $1500 fee for an hour's worth of work. Be so for real, Brad. Brad's communication has since evolved into bully tactics, threatening my grandmother (his client who trusted him and his allegedly honest dealings!) with putting a lien on her house (which he cannot do by law past 90 days after the "substantive work" was completed...which again, was none plus it was well past the 90 days when he made that threat) and claiming that she is committing insurance fraud. Personally, I think it's the other way around, given how absolutely desperate he is to collect money for work he didn't do. He called HER the dishonest which is so unbelievably laughable when you consider what he has done to terrorize my widowed grandmother. The Better Business Bureau should shut this guy down. No one should treat their clients like this, especially vulnerable elders. If you're thinking about using Brad for your roofing...don't. Just don't.

I'd give this company a zero star if I could. I don't even know where to start because no one would…read moreread that long of a review. My mom used this company because she knows the owner and she even got the warranty to help cover any needed repairs because she's a widow and doesn't have extra money for unwanted repairs. It's only been a few years since her roof was repaired and we had some nasty weather that caused a leak in her home. Let's just say ever since she called him to come fix or at least look at damage done inside and out this man/owner has not only been a sketchy shady guy but harrassed my mom relentlessly and not only didn't fix the work he should have she got the insurance money for repairs and used it for someone else to repair it. Since then he texted her saying no further payment needed from her (not sure why he thought he had a payment due, as he had not done any work but stopped the leak and was there for adjusters, to cover his own butt). He has still harassed her saying she owes him $1750 for his time and service (which was nothing since she has a warranty and no payment was due) and will send her to collections and ruin her credit and put a lean on her house, which he can't do because he did not work and has nothing to show he did any work. Theres so much more to this story but figured it was enough shared. DO NOT use this man and his company, he has treated my mother with so much disrespect she had to block him and now he is harrassing her through email. She is the kindest woman I know and she doesn't deserve this treatment. I hope this helps someone trying to decide who to use in the future.

Then, the guy that came to our house seemed to be a little off put that I was the one there to talk to and not my husband. I counted 10 times he asked me when my husband was going to be home or saying how he wished my husband was there. He quoted me almost 40,000 for the roof not including the taking off and putting back on our solar panels. I kept telling him that we were going to be doing multiple other quotes the following day he but kept trying to convince me to go with them right then and there. I told him no, not until we get other quotes, I don't know how many times. He dropped the price down to 33,000 if I said yes but he just would not listen and i told him that this is a very large purchase and I am not going to be pressured into something like this so quickly but he still kept pushing. He was also very interested in the names of the other companies because he wanted to tell me if they were good companies or not. I did not have the names so he seemed a little bummed about that. I have a lot of patience but when I kept getting asked when the husband will be home I finally called my husband to tell him what was happening and how I was not thrilled with this guy. Luckily, my husband was a couple of minutes away and got home to see what the deal was. The guy went through the whole thing again with him. Got the price down to 27,000 but was telling us that we HAD to make a decision right then and there. My husband told him that we are doing the other quotes the next day and that he knew his selling tactics because he had to go through the same thing many years ago when he was a salesman and it wasn't going to pressure him. I remember that he also tried to guilt trip me into saying yes because it was taking time out of his day and taking other possible sales away from him. I caught him in at least 2 lies and one of them being that there weren't very many reviews on Yelp and all there reviews were great and that because they are part of the BBB they are the best. I have seen many companies part of the BBB and have a large amount of complaints so that held no validity for me and while we were talking I checked yelp and saw the reviews. Not only all of this, my folks went with DaBella for their siding and they were charged twice as much as they should have been. Then, the quality was very spotty and they had to have multiple things fixed. It took over a year to get someone out to their house to get this issues fixed as well. We most definitely did not go with DaBella and all of the other places we got quotes from were half the price and the company we went with has 5 stars, did not pressure us, was very down to earth, and been doing this profession for 25+ years. Be very wary of DaBella. They may have some good work but not in this area.

After…read morespeaking with our sales person he suggested we replace our windows with Anderson A100 series windows. He told us all about the fibrex material and how awesome it was and durable which after some research I had to agree. He then suggested we think about a black exterior frame. I told him I was not sure about black I was worried about fading and cracking over time. I was assured that the windows warranty would cover it and that they were guaranteed not to do just that. The windows went in and they looked beautiful they immediately reduced our utility bills. The installers were on time and did a good job. We did have one window leak about a month after it was installed but due to the windows location and where the siding fell it was understandable and they came out and repaired it immediately. Fast forward a little over a year and I was outside getting ready to put a coat of paint onto the trim they put around the windows (you could see the nail heads in the trim something I noticed but was not high on the fix it list). As I was getting ready to paint I noticed cracks in the frames just superficial but definitely cracks. I took pictures and sent them to my sales person he immediately responded and said he would put a ticket in with Andersen to have them come look at them and verify the warranty claim. Well that is when it all turned south. The gentleman from Andersen is not a nice person in my opinion. He is rude and short with you on the phone. He tends to speak to you like you are child that needs to be scolded. He informs me that based on the pictures he has seen this is a problem with a cleaning agent I have used on my windows to make them look nice or something a painter used to clean the tape off the window after I had them professionally painted (thanks for the compliment but I painted the trim myself) but He was still going to come by and "take a look". Well the day comes when we are graced by his presence unfortunately I was out of town. Well they proceeded to look at my windows both the gentleman from Andersen and a rep from Wood Windows Inc. This is the part where it gets interesting I have video cameras on my house that record not only video but audio. Still have video/audio if any party is interested in viewing it. They walk around the house and proceeded to stand in my driveway where the gentleman from Andersen tells the gentleman from Wood Windows Inc this is a know problem and I (homeowner) was screwed they have lab testing showing that cleaning agents caused cracking like this and that is what they would be telling me. He proceeded to tell the gentleman from wood windows he would give me a few days before he called me back so I got the impression he really tried. Then he would "slow walk" me to the conclusion I had cleaned the windows with an unapproved cleaner and this was my fault and there was nothing I could do about it. I listened to the video in the time I waited for him to call back let's just say he got a little upset with me on the phone about listening into his conversation. He proceeds to yell at me on the phone and tell me it was my fault the window frames cracked. I told him I had never cleaned the windows the only time they were cleaned was by the professional cleaner that Wood Windows hired to come out and clean them at the end of the install. He said I had no way of proving that and unfortunately he is right. I will never win that argument. However I was never given any cleaning instructions before or after my install. There were no stickers on the windows that said to visit there website for a list of approved cleaners (only place they are listed and are not easy to find unless you know exactly what to look for). My problem with Wood Windows is that the owner told my sales person this is my fight alone with manufacturer and he was to stay out of it period end of sentence. That is just sad to me. If you purchase windows from Wood Windows Inc do not expect their leadship to have your back.

I do NOT recommend using them. We paid ~$30k for all but one window to be replaced. Our wait was several months which was expected. Their foreman, Dustin, was very, very friendly but incompetent. They ordered one wrong window which was far from matching the others, the windows were scratched up, the trim they installed was shoddy, and they removed the one window that didn't need replacement. One of our main windows in the kitchen was very difficult to open, and I'm a strong person. They initially tried to convince me it would 'settle' but never did. They replaced it eventually and it still is really hard to open. I've told numerous people to avoid Wood Windows. They used to be quality but something happened with quality and service over the years....for the worse.
