Everything was amazing and portions were pretty huge. My friend added a side of Mac n cheese for extra $9 so side was huge. We got two vegetarian burgers and the chicken pasta. The pasta was really bad, and really watery. We couldn't finish it at all. One of the vegetarian burgers we got was the breakfast burger. Usually it comes with alot of meat but we were able to customize it to be vegetarian. It was really good and crunchy and ridiculously pretty to look at. Their fried mushroom Patty is really good!

If disappointment had a headquarters, Shoeless Joe's would probably try to franchise it…read more I walked in hoping for a good time and maybe a halfway decent meal. Instead, I got an existential crisis served with a side of "why did I spend money on this?" The vibe felt like the restaurant itself gave up halfway through its own shift. The food tasted like it lost a fight with the microwave. The service moved at the speed of someone who knew I shouldn't have come here and didn't want to encourage the mistake. My drink tasted like the bartender whispered the idea of flavor into the glass instead of actually mixing anything. The wings had the personality of soggy paper towel. Even the fries looked tired--as if they were begging me to take them home and let them rest. Shoeless Joe's isn't a restaurant. It's a test of patience, willpower, and digestive bravery. If you ever want to know what regret feels like in appetizer form, this is the place. Never again. I'd rather eat air.

I got a patty, samosa, and a cheese filled baked snack and all were very good. There were some people there having the chicken dinner and were raving about the hot sauce, calling it "addictive". Everything looked good at Mrs D. The Guyanese twist to the typical roti menu seen at these places was amazingly appealing to me. The combination of Indian spice with typical Caribbean flavours made my head spin in a good way. The dining area is welcoming and makes you feel at home as well.

April 25/2025: Dinner with my Al & Adrianna…read more This was really good but not fantastic. It was simply lacking flavour in my dish. My appetizer was the onion rings ($16.00). They were very good & a sizeable order as well. The main was the Enchiladas ($24.00 + $6.00) for the luke warm pulled pork. Our server "Moe" was so casual when she asked if I wanted pork or beef enchiladas but I should have looked for the extra pricing. Our server Moe was very funny & nice & she delivered solid service. It's a casual family style ambiance & the place was very busy but not packed. Not sure I'd go out of my way to dine here again. I give it a 4.0-Star.

Our server was very nice with a great sense of humour. She rolled with the jokes from our table. The 3-Star comes from the food. Mine was the fish & chips. It was a re-fried fish thing that took place. It LOOKED fresh but it wasn't. I could tell cause it was overly crunchy. It was then placed on top of the fries that caused the oil from the fish to run over the fries thus ruining about 1/2 of the fries. On a high point, the pasta was delicious. Artichoke hearts, black olives, sundries tomato's with lots of garlic. It was the best dish.
