Worst dine in experience I have had in many years. After 45 minutes I was served my Iced Tea and my order was finally taken. After an additional 30mins I still had not received my food, while other tables of 4+ customers who arrived after us were enjoying their dinner. If I could give it a zero star I would. Worst service and food ever. Server could care less that we weren't happy. 45 mins to fry some wings and serve up totally soggy nachos with about 15 chips. Yes, she had reasons and excuses and was able to defend the poor food and service, but all that we needed was some good communication that the food was going to be a bit slow and some recognition of responsibility. Not just "I'm sorry you feel that way. There's nothing I could have done" - smile with indignation. How about "you are right, and there's really no excuse. Please accept my apologies on behalf of me and wild wing (my employer who I represent)". She said it was busy, but there was only one other table. Take out orders ahead of ours? How could we know except by some good communication on her part? About the food, the server even told us that everything comes frozen and then is deep fried so she's not even sure what the difference between the boneless and regular wings are except the boneless part. I have given this place ample opportunities to right their wrongs and I am continually disappointed. The past4 times I have gone, my boyfriend requests boneless wings and gets bone-in wings. No apology or realization and when I had finally had enough it was either $5 off our order or re cook more. It takes us usually 15 minutes to get a drink order, 25 minutes to get food and then another 45 minutes to get our bill. If there are better wing places in town I am willing to hear them! read more

After watching way too many episodes of Diners Drive Ins and Dives, i have been having insane cravings for wings. Unfortunately Wild Wing is one place that Guy Fieri will never visit. If you are a restaurant and you are going to specialize in one dish, it should be amazing. We ordered 2 lbs of wings bc we wanted to sample different sauces. We started with the medium heat (3 flames) and there was way too much vinegar. You had to eat them slow, you could literally breathe in the acid. Next we tried the sweet smoke, which was a chipotle based sauce. I actually really liked the flavour of this one. However both wings were batter and fried, and then sauced. By the time we were done eating about 2 or 3, the remaining became soggy, due to the abundance of sauce and breading. For the food i would have given it 2 stars but the service was terrible. The place was pretty much vacant, and another waitress had to clear our table first off. Then we were waiting for our bill, i put my parka on to speed up the process. She finally walked by our table and i asked for our bill, and she was like " Oh, You guys are done", yeah we were finished like 30 minutes ago. We were moving my daughter to Guelph this past weekend and I was looking up restaurants near our hotel. We were tired and didn't want anything fancy, so wings was a good option. We eat at Wild Wing in Ottawa, and enjoy it, so I was surprised to read such bad reviews. After eating there I don't know why people are so hard on this place. It's wings - not gourmet cooking. They have lots of flavours and the GarPar fries are awesome. No, it's not the cheapest, but it's not bad. Go for a beer, some wings and fries, and have a few laughs. We enjoyed ourselves. read more

I went here with my dad the other day and it wasn't great. We ordered mozarella sticks as an app, and there were so few for how much they cost. One of them didn't even have cheese in it - it was just a deep-fried breaded shell. They looked so sad too - just 5 sitting at the bottom of a large basket, they didn't do anything to make them look presentable. I ordered a pulled-pork sandwich for dinner and it said "charred onions" on the menu, but they were actually diced raw red onions (I would have asked to not have these had I known because I can't stand raw onions - they were too small to be able to pick out). My dad ordered chili and didn't even eat half of it, he thought it was awful. I had water and the waitress never refilled it even though I had finished my glass before the app came. When we were done, she came back to ask about the temperature of our food. It sounded like she was asking if it was spicy or not. We said it was fine, and then she went on to say that they were new items and that head office hadn't adjusted the right times to thaw and cook the food. She said that they had pulled pork down for 48 seconds - why would she tell us that?! I've worked in fast food before so I know that not everything is cooked fresh, but I would NEVER tell a customer that their burger took a minute to grill. Who wants to be reminded that their food isn't anything close to fresh?! She honestly went on for 10 minutes about how they needed to allot more time to cook the frozen food. This specific location turned me off of ever wanting to visit any other Wild Wing location. read more

Great wings. Quality food prepared to order, with great service. First, I was just glad to have a place open close enough to home that I could walk around the corner for a peaceful drink. The menu is simple, wings, wings and more wings, though they also have wraps and a brisket slider that must be tried! The wild west theme is amusing, but the staff are good sports about the ten-gallon hats they wear as part of their uniform. Servers are excellent about helping you dive through the many sauces available for your wings, asking all the right questions about what you like, and the kind of flavour you're looking for. read more

The boneless wings are delicious. The metal buckets on the tables for your bones are disgusting looking, they need to go. The bones can go back on your plate. Tried Wild Wing tonight for the first time and had a wonderful experience! I ordered the fried willy's and fish&onion rings. My boyfriend ordered a pound of wings. The food was exceptional, great seasoning and the chicken literally fell off the bone! The fish and onion rings rivaled any that I've had at Fish&Chip shops. The service was great, very friendly and fast. Along with the relaxed pub like atmosphere, fair prices and great deals it made for a great night. I would highly recommend Wild Wing and will definitely be returning! read more

This is an awesome idea for a restaurant. Wings are some of my favourite food, and the variety offered here is staggering. I went with four others, and was seated by a friendly waitress. That's where the experience ends. I ordered the Canadian Maple wings, and, when the food came, was disappointed by the portion size. I am embarrassed to admit I have eaten here after the experience I had. The service was the worst I have ever seen or heard of and the food has fallen off dramatically. I keep going back to this location and it is worse every time. Watching the two servers text and flirt with the kitchen staff while my wings got cold on the pass was so frustrating I wanted to walk out. There were no apologies or concessions made for not having menu items or for the horrendous service. I think I will make my own wings and stay home next time. read more
