As someone trying to give my bearded dragon the best habitat possible without overspending, it was hard to justify when similar items can be found online for much less. I understand that small businesses have higher operating costs, and I want to support local whenever I can. I just wish there were more affordable options for people who are passionate about their pets but also have a budget. Our friend told us that they are the most knowledgeable and actually care. We were there and the owner Thomas happened to be there. He explained the situation and told us what to expect. He cared if our gecko died and didn't try to sugar coat what was going on. We spent maybe $10 and he spent a half hour with us. Not only that but he called the next day to see what if she was ok.
