The staff has shown great customer service to us for all of our visits as well. My son fell and got a small injury on one of our visits and the staff was urgent to help providing first aid care and lollipops to help with the tears!

The man at the front desk just kept on reading his book or phone and ignored the chaos. I am way too old to try to climb up into the thing so I was lucky that the young mother retrieved her son then went after my little guy. Much better supervision is needed there. I won't be back.

The building really is massive which we were not expecting…read more Our 20 month old still isn't walking unassisted and our house is so small that she can get anywhere while walking along and holding onto a table, chair, or couch. Ergadoozy has tons of open area to encourage her to take some independent steps! The little shopping carts she loves to hold onto and walk so while it's not totally independent, we'll take it, lol. We got the 6 month pass and it's already paid for itself with how often we've gone. I haven't had any other issues with kids or parents and everyone has been so polite, even helping my daughter stand back up when their kids might bump into her while playing. It's so nice to have a space for kids to be kids! It can be loud and busy, so if you aren't a fan of that maybe go later in the evening on weekdays when it's slower. I love that kids can run around yelling and be kids in a safe environment. It's also great for her to try new toys so we're building a nice Christmas list every time we go, lol. There's a gift shop inside too so we try to steer her away from that.

Review Visit: April 11th, 2012…read more Penguins, peacocks, chickens, oh my! Henson Robinson Zoo is located in the heart of Abraham Lincoln country. So, it makes sense that there is a zoo that has all it's animals wearing black hats and Lincoln-style beards. Actually, that makes no sense at all. Lets try that again. Henson Robinson Zoo was the destination for Matt and I during the early days of spring. When the warmth of the day is enough to make exploring possible and not miserable. I picked Matt up and we headed out to explore the capital. We got to the zoo around noon, parked, paid our admission, and got hyped to see some animals. I don't remember much about the zoo layout. I do remember a few different things. One. Peacocks and chickens walking around like they own the place. Yep, they had live animals walking around, strutting their stuff. No, they didn't have bears walking around, though that would be one heck of an experience. There were some peacocks strutting around, showing off their tail feathers. I never thought I would see a peacock up close and in person, let alone one I could pet. Whether you should attempt to pet the, that's up to your discretion (and probably some zoo rules). Two. Racing a wolverine is something I can mark off my bucket list. Upon visiting the wolverine exhibit, Matt and I noticed this creature was hyper and running up and down the edge of it's viewing area. Me, being the person I am, decided to mirror it's movements. The wolverine and I ran up and down the exhibit for a solid 5-10 minutes. Back and forth. Back and forth. Matt ended up recording some videos of us racing. I included a photo below where you can see me in motion. My current WordPress plan doesn't allow me to upload videos or else I would include one as well. Since I don't remember much else from the zoo, that leaves me without much else to say. There was a big water exhibit near the entrance. That is where the penguins were. They were fun to watch waddle around and swim around. I would suggest checking it out if you have an itch for a zoo. Maybe you can even race a peacock or pet a wolverine during your visit... or something like that.

One in which she received 2nd place-Overall Gymnastics among her team as well as the other competing teams. Following, this meet her Level 1 Junior Olympics team coach Maggie thought it was appropriate to write Laila a congratulatory notes calling her Miss Bojangles!!(Please see the note attached). To say we were appauled, outraged, and shocked would be an understatement. What hurts the most is that in speaking to Laila and educating our 8 year old on the history of Bojangles, racism, and many other topics Laila expressed feelings of hurt, and extreme sadness. How do you explain to a child at 8, that everyone that says they like you and are a proud of you unfortunately aren't. Thankfully, I am a Mental Health Counselor and know how to treat Trauma. On Tuesday, March 15th I promptly emailed @All American Gymnastics and Super Ninja St.Louis owner Susan (Sue Renshaw) and below is her response. As you read it it says nicknames are given for team building purposes. Also, noted if Laila was hurt we apologize. No sincerity, nor accountability. It is absolutely apparent that Sue's lawyer wrote this document for her. Sue references how she was so looking forward to Laila continuing with them. I can name 3 reasons she was. 1. Laila always brings home individual scores of 35 or higher, 2. She is an awesome gymnast, and 3. We pay our financial obligations and show up and show out everytime. Sue's self/business accountability looked like releasing us from the remaining 2 months of financial obligations and not allowing Coach Maggie Coffey the opportunity to explain her choice of nickname. Also, Maggie has never referred to Laila as this name in front of myself or any other family members. I live in Springfield Illinois and the small community of Chatham just south of us suffered an…read moreunimaginable tragedy last week when a driver suffered a seizure and drove through a popular after school program killing an 18 year old an 8 year old and two 7 year old girls and causing injuries, some severe, to many others. The community, and all the surrounding communities came together to try to ease the unimaginable pain from this terrible event. The local Skyzone stepped up and provided a day of support for the children of Chatham. The community was touched by the gesture. Several $1000 was spent for the use of the space and for pizzas and other items. It is now being reported that the manager of that location was fired for this wonderful gift to a community of children who lost friends, siblings, family. Many of whom were in the building and witnessed the horrific aftermath. The remaining employees have put in their 2 weeks notice in support of the manager. Skyzone does not deserve your money and clearly has no sense of right and wrong, nor do they care about children. Our entire community is now boycotting them and hope to see it spread across the country In honor of these four girls and all those left heartbroken.

We love a kid play place!…read more This small indoor play place in south county is such a gem! It has plenty of adult seating that others lack so plan for a birthday celebration here. The best age range is 0-5 as there are infant sections, pretend play areas like kitchens and towers, and lots of toys in between. I think they rotate some items every 90 days while some items stay the same. There are yuck buckets all around the playroom in case of slobbering or "taste testing". The staff also cleans the floors and toys regularly to fight germs and keep toys looking their best. I will always recommend a reservation as spots fill up fast. A birthday party here is also worth it because of the space for seating and the ability for kids 0 -10 to be able to play and enjoy. This location is not as accessible because the entrance has a small shared parking lot, a step or large slope to enter, and the doors are all manual and all require a little maneuvering as there are pull handles, lower knobs, and hook handles.
