I HIGHLY recommend Werth Photography for wedding photos in Philadelphia. I found them on The Knot…read moreand booked them for our Philly destination wedding. It felt risky because I would only meet them on the day of the wedding - turns out booking Werth Photography was one of the best decisions I made during wedding planning. Here's why: Matt and Laurie understood it was their job to capture the day, not be the center of the day. After the wedding, all my wedding guests had horror stories to share about demanding, oblivious, self-centered wedding photographers. Everyone remarked on how wonderful it was to work with Matt and Laurie. They were pleasant, gracious, and considerate throughout the day. They were so discreet during the ceremony, I never once noticed them take any attention from the service. During the day, it was obvious they had listened when we talked about what we wanted and did not want for the photographs. Speaking of, Laurie was a fabulous communicator throughout the planning process. She graciously offered expert advice, such as when I was considering whether to have the entire ceremony bilingual, 'One of the best ways I have seen two languages integrated into a ceremony was...'. She was willing to work with us to make our unique wedding - a tiny Sunday afternoon with only 19 people - a special day for us. She was even able to get a beautiful photo of us to us the night of the wedding so we could send it out with wedding announcements the day after the wedding. For wedding photographers, the proof is in the pudding. We've seen a preview of our photos and are AMAZED at how WONDERFULLY they turned out. Can't wait to see the rest! If you need wonderful photographers for your special day in Philly, contact Werth Photography!

The husband-wife pair is such an amazing treat - they get it! And their approach is the perfect mix of positive energy and subtlety. They managed to capture all the best moments of the night, without being in the way. When we wanted them, they were right there. They were truly a delight to work with. And their style is EXACTLY what we wanted. So vibrant, so dramatic... so incredibly cool. For a night wedding, it was perfection. We are over the moon! THANK YOU!!!!

Her portfolio speaks for itself, but I had no idea how professional, warm and inviting she was in person, nor how rewarding and fun this experience could be. I joined Celeste's mailing list last year and was alerted to an upcoming "discount day," where you chose one look and background set for a reduced price. Though I'm definitely not a "sexy" person, the shoot we did came out fabulously and looked so adorable. Since I'm a writer by trade, we decided to go with a vintage typewriter, desk and nerdy reporter's notebook -- so cute! I love the attention to detail and the variety of wardrobe sizes and styles. Her team will spend hours getting you all dolled up with gorgeous pinup hair and makeup, then Celeste helps you into your wardrobe, garters and jewelry. From there, the actual shooting seemed to fly by. Proofs are put up online in about a week and you can order prints and enlargements from there. So convenient and I loved being able to send the whole online gallery to my boyfriend. Already plotting my next session here: a girls' day for my mom's 50th birthday.

We had so many different logistics for them to be at from the hotel, to the first look in another location, to the venue in a different location from the first two and they got their every single time even before we did without a million questions for "where should I park" or "do we have to pay for parking" etc which a lot of vendors kept messaging us about the morning of the wedding which was annoying lol... they just did it / figured it out which I was grateful for. They didn't make anything difficult for us and I had very specific directions that were prob unnecessary and annoying and hit every shot with ease. Their equipment was awesome, so many ppl said their lights they brought and things like that were so cool. I also used Angela for her bouquet casting business which was awesome because she was able to take the flowers and I didn't worry abt them and I even got a picture of the flowers the next day confirming she got them. They absolutely crushed everything and we couldn't be more grateful. Worth every penny, I would not want to work with any other photographer for such a big day of your life. Highly, highly recommend.

She was very professional and courteous through all our interactions in planning the shoot through emails and during our session. I will say if you want someone to go above and beyond, then Emcee Studio is the best choice. Washington DC has a wide array of places to shoot but many of those have rules and regulations. Minh did I can't imagine how many hours of research to help pick options for us and made it much easier. She is very flexible in making the best package work for us and open to ideas. During the shoot she was very creative with her style and moments which is why we choose her. I can say after looking through hundreds (not kidding) of photographers, she has one of the most unique styles. You will get photos that look beautiful yet so natural which is hard to find. There was very little stress on my fiancé and I throughout this whole process. She was on time, laid out the plan, and just overall very easy to work with. I think one of the most important things is just getting along and making it an enjoyable experience. With tons of things to worry about with a wedding, we are happy to know we can trust Minh fully to get the job done well. We are excited for her to shoot our wedding and can't wait!

She was very responsive to emails in the beginning and even offered a beautiful engagement session! On our wedding day, she arrived on time and dove right into the "details" shots while hair and make up was being finished. We selected one of her standard packages (one photographer) but added on a couple extra hours of time and I'm glad we did. During the reception, I barely noticed her as she poked in and out of the crowd on the dance floor. One guest referred to her as a "ninja"! She got some great photos without being too in people's faces. She handled the hectic day like a pro and I couldn't be happier with my decision! I love the sneak peeks she offers and I cannot WAIT to see the final product! I would highly recommend Minh to any newly engaged couples in the DC metro area.
