Grilled lamb chops

This is by far the best place to buy meat and fish. The quality is excellent and the prices are very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The variety is awesome. I especially love their marinated meats. They also have appetizers and desserts. I am so glad that they opened up here in LBC.

Still a great place to shop for the frozen meats (marinated & non marinated) and specify meats plus they do have spices, veggies, and desserts...of course all frozen. Great staff, friendly & happy to help you. Clean place and easy & big parking lot.

I was introduced to Wild Fork from a Yelp event then returned. I love the concept and price of everything in this store. When I talk to people about it I try to explain that it's close to Costco prices without the excessive portions. They have nearly every meat and seafood, as well as sides and desserts for you to decide from. It's essentially a one stop shop when you consider their beef tallow spray, seasonings, and everything. The store is neatly organized so you can go to poultry, sausages, specific cuts of beef, seafood, etc. It's a dream. The staff are always around to help with ideas for meals if you need it as well. I had to share a favorite steak buy of mine because what a deal for two steaks

Let me start by saying this up front: Wild Forks isn't a restaurant... but if it was, I'd definitely be a regular! This place is more like the "bougie" boutique of meat markets--and I mean that in the best way possible. The store was immaculately clean, beautifully organized, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Whether you know exactly what you're looking for or just want to explore, they've got you covered. You'll find everyday essentials like premium cuts of beef, chicken, and pork, but what really makes Wild Forks stand out is their more adventurous selection: frog legs, alligator meat, rabbit, veal, quail--you name it, they probably have it. It's like a meat lover's playground. If you're looking for high-quality, specialty meats, or just want to feel a little extra while shopping for your next BBQ, Wild Forks is definitely the place.

What an incredible find - this is the meat shop of my dreams. It's well laid out with reasonable prices and am extensive selection, evening from beef, chicken, pork, fish, and shellfish to things like alligator and ostrich. I was given plenty of space and time to shop, with gentle occasional check-ins from the staff. I bought a lobe of foie gras and couldn't believe it was $10. It was my first time cooking it but at that price, I was less terrified about messing it up. It turned out incredible. Wild Fork is easy to get to by bus which means it will be my first stop for meats from now on. Next up, the picanha!

First time here. I've been meaning to stop by but haven't had the chance. Came here today and was surprise at the selection and prices and how more affordable they are. Clean and well organized with big signs and prices. That's appreciated. Friendly staff. Great selection of hard to find meats. Just what we needed in Long Beach.

Wild Fork, located in Long Beach, is a pretty new addition to 2nd street and Studebaker. Prices are reasonable and they have so many options for exotic meats like elk and bison, offals (organ meat), premium steak cuts (picanha, wagyu cuts, skirt steak), marinated meats, and seafood. Their meat is blast frozen after being butchered and they're stored in freezers. I think this is a pro and it's a con. The pro is that you get access to a wide variety of proteins that are preserved at peak flavor and at a reasonable price. The con is the inconvenience of having to defrost whatever you buy here for 24+ hours (if you let it defrost in the fridge). Nevertheless, I was pretty happy with being able to get a pound of picanha, 2.5lbs of chicken thighs, 2lbs of tilapia, 1lb marinated ground chicken, sticky toffee pudding, and marinated beef for tacos for ~$35. I definitely would not be able to get that type of value at Ralphs. And, if I went to costco, then I would have gotten the same type of value, but I would have spent $150 for 5x the portion size. I definitely think that Wild Fork is a meat market that I can work into my rotation!

I was curious about Wild Fork and found that they carry a variety of blast frozen meat and seafood, including meat and seafood that's hard to find at your everyday grocery store. You'll also find frozen vegetables, burger buns, dessert, sides, and spices. Overall, prices are comparable. I shop at Wild Fork for their wild caught seafood and have tried Sockeye Salmon, Chilean Sea Bass fish, Snapper, and Tuna. The Chilean Sea Bass was absolutely delicious. I have also tried their Bison and veggie bean burgers which were pretty good as well. In general, I'm more interested in buying organic, hormone and antibiotic free meats. Unfortunately, in the way of chicken this is not offered. Overall, great service and worth a visit if you're in the area. This location is conveniently located near Trader Joe's.

9/6 One year anniversary bbq bash! Lots of great samples! We come whenever I have freezer space. The cheese rolls are amazing and gluten free for the friends that need to be careful about that sort of thing. Really love the calabreza sausage and the picanha is great in the smoker! If you're looking for meat or specialty meat like alligator, this is the place!

I love the staff at this spot. The selection of product here is wild. I was looking for ground beef and I stumbled onto ground elk, buffalo, lamb, bison, and then some. Everything is always delicious, great quality and vacuum packed.

We actually came across the store location while In the area but we're planning to order online. So it was nice to shop in person. They had so many varieties of cuts of meats and seafood as well. They also had a decent selection of big game meat as well. Staff were nice and helpful as well. Which they were closer to home but loved the meat we got and will be ordering again

My new favorite place to shop for meats. Some stuff here I could say is a better value than Costco because most of, if not all, of their beef is dry aged. They have many exotic meats like alligator, ostrich, veal, and others. I usually get picanha here and haven't had a bad experience yet. I have done 10 hour+ smoked pork belly, brisket, and beef ribs from here and they all are great quality and come out just the way I want them to. Workers are all helpful and nice and they sometimes have decent deals worth checking out.

Short Rib, bone-in and boneless - seasoned with one of the bottles of seasoning we found at Wild Fork and threw it on the grill. Yumm

There's limited parking in the back of the building and only big enough for smaller compact cars. They have several buckets of fish sitting on ice chips, lining the middle of the store. A couple live tanks against the wall. Decent variety. When I was choosing my fish from their ice buckets, I thought they looked a little extra slimy but against my better judgment just gave it a shot anyway. Took my catfish to the kitchen to request it be fried. Within a couple hours of eating, I got the worst food poisoning I've had in a very long time. This was such a disappointing experience and now I'm sick as a dog. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

They even sat us by the window so we had a view of the Marina/sunset. We were just having a casual dinner so we shared a bowl of the clam chowder and a whole fried tilapia. This was enough to fill us both! The chowder was a good consistency, not too thick or watery and served with oyster crackers. The tilapia was big! You can get it fried or grilled and add sauces. We chose to mix the Cajun and garlic sauce, such a good combo! We asked for the diablo sauce on the side, which had a good kick to it. The fish comes with veggies underneath that are mixed in the sauce (bell pepper, onion, and potato). Our waiter was also super nice even though it was just us 2 and we only ordered those 2 things. He kept checking on us and filled our waters throughout our time there. We also saw they have weekly specials and happy hour. We want to come back to try that menu. There were folks seated in all areas but not enough to feel crowded. We asked to sit close to the window while we ate so that we can look at the boats and watch the sun go down but they had said that spots were for the folks who made reservations. Not a big deal, we still got to see the sunset and boats from the next table over. My little one ordered the chicken tenders and it came with fries, apples and a drink. She loved that and it was just the right amount of food for her. My eyes were definitely the ones eating today lol. I ordered the shrimp plate which is the smaller version of the tray and I added a whole fried tilapia. I had the option of having the fish grilled or fried and I opted for fried. That fish, I tell ya, was cooked beautifully! For both the shrimp and the fish I chose both the regular seasoning and the garlic butter and thought that was the perfect combination. I did try their bottled house salsa and that was pretty darn good to add on top too. There was a nice portion of potatoes and shrimp and a whole lot of onions. Wish there were more bell peppers and other veggies too but not a big deal. With the shrimp plate you get a 4 in top and bottom slice of garlic bread and that wasn't enough so I ordered a whole footlong of it. Would definitely come back again to try other things on the menu! Great place for seafood and the Lenten fish fry!

There was even a bagel spot with a line about 50 people deep. I am my best self at a farmers market, but often leave with an empty wallet. I snagged hummus, kombucha, green juice, and a floral arrangement in one visit. A few things that make this spot incredibly special: 1. there's a plethora of parking and it's free for the first 2-hours. 2. They literally have a dog valet where you can drop off your pet before shopping the local vendors. Quite possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. 3.
