We checked out Wild Fork during a Yelp event and was honestly impressed! The store is on the smaller side, but they have a cool variety of frozen meats, seafood, and ready-to-cook meals. Think bison, elk, yak, venison, marinated lamb, and all kinds of things you don't usually see at your regular grocery store. The store was clean, organized and fairly easy to navigate, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. I loved that they had clear labels with cooking tips too which made it way less intimidating to try something new. Quality!!! There is an elite event that I would love to RSVP for, but I will not be in town. The quality of the meat there is fantastic. There is a distinct difference in the taste of the ground beef, ground sirloin, and whenever we're looking for convenience, the premade bison burgers are great. Admittedly, we haven't really tried any of the other kinds of meat from there. However, only caution is the packaged prepared items are really on the salty side so you might want to check the sodium if that is a concern for you. I've also enjoyed the chimichurri paste or rub that's at the register and overall we make it a priority to stop in there. The other nice thing is the ground beef. it's a little over a pound, and it's actually a better value than if you go to your other retailers grocers in the area. read more

I don't think they are still around and the reasons are obvious. When You walked in nothing was merchandized, explained organized or...well you get the idea. Jump forward to September of 2022 and Bam! Wild Fork has hit a home run. This place is so good im getting a second mortgage so that I can shop here regularly. I also had a great shopping experience at this location of Wild Fork! We went to get another hanger steak to be sure we had enough meat for our carnivorous family. One of the guys working there was stocking and kindly said "let me get out of your way" as he moved over. He asked if he could help us find anything and I said a Hanger steak. He pointed them out, we picked one by the weight we were looking for and we were off to the checkout counter. Another friendly guy helped us check out quickly and told us we were automatically entered to win a Brazilian Flame. I hope I win it! The steak cones in a flat tray that is vacuum sealed. I always put some warm water in that tray to help it thaw. After it was thawed, we marinated the steaks. We put them on the grill and they were tasty! read more

So, a funny thing I was so surprised to walk into Wild Fork when it first came into our area and learn literally everything they sell is FROZEN. I was expecting a "fresh" seafood and meat counter. Regardless, I made some purchases and was VERY impressed with the high quality of the food. Sea scallops, halibut, beef tritop, some "prepared" side dishes - Wild Fork has become a "go to" for our family when we're planning for a holiday meal or gathering. I love going to Wild Fork and have liked whatever I buy there, BUT I recently bought an untrimmed 12lb. brisket there. Trimmed were priced at $5.95lb., untrimmed $4.95lb. I usually trim my own and it's usually no more than a pound of fat trimmed off. This brisket had over four pounds of fat! I would've been better off getting the trimmed and saving myself time and money. When you pay for, and throw out a third of your purchase, you're not pleased. read more

So I stopped in to enhance marriage harmony and we both were surprised at what we found. All the meat was frozen and vacuumed packed with an interesting take on freezer presentation. Pricing was very competitive overall. We tried some tenderloin beef tips and they were very tasty. They also had some Ready-made meals for those in need. I believe they were frozen also but not sure. I recently decided to try out some of the items at Wild Forks. The store itself is pretty cool. There's a large variety of different types of meats as well as frozen veggie dishes, prepared sides and desserts. I purchased a package of their hamburger patties, meatballs, cheese & onion empanadas, green bean casserole, mashed cauliflower, grilled cheese sticks, meatloaf and the Nutella stuffed donuts. So far, I've tried the hamburger patties, meatballs, donuts, green bean casserole and empanadas. The only thing I would purchase again would be the donuts. The ground beef items have a weird, overly processed texture. The patties were the worst. Plus, there was lots of gristle. I'm glad I didn't buy the more expensive cuts of meat first. Needless to say, I won't be going back. The prices were way too high compared to the quality. I honestly don't see how they will be able to afford to stay in such a desirable location once more people discover that the food is really sub-par and overpriced. I have no idea why they have such high ratings. Staff is not looking to help you . All the meat is frozen. Minimal information on how the animals were raised and finished. For what they sell , it's over priced. For example the grass feed as a description for beef just means the the cows are grass feed before it hit the slaughter house, then was finished with grain while it waits to be slaughtered,which is less desirable and cheaper to do then grass finished. I couldn't find any grass fed and grass finished labels on the beef. For the price per pound they charge on the higher end beef, it should be grass finished and it's not . Most of the beef is no different then USDA beef found in a grocery store. read more

This place has everything, if you can't find what your looking for as far as meat goes you will almost definitely have to order it online because nobody in the area can compete with their selection. I've seen larger seafood selections before but the other stuff is where it's at here. I purchased a 17+ day aged black angus ribeye and even though it's only choice grade it definitely goes toe to toe with prime the marbling is amazing. 10/10 experience with friendly staff I'm definitely recommending this place to friends. read more

This is a new gem. All the selection is frozen but very high quality and vacuum sealed perfectly. If you are into sous vide, keto, carnivore diets this will be your favorite place. They also have so many great odd ball cuts of meats as well as plenty of exotic meats lining the shelves. If you don't see what you are looking for feel free to ask the super helpful staff.
