Fajardo's Landscape

Fajardo's Landscape

We used Fajardo's Landscaping (Jefferson and his father as well as extra workers on one occasion)…read more The first time Jefferson did not follow my spouse's instructions (we noticed he does not take notes when you provide instructions and seems not to remember) and the stone was placed in the wrong area. We gave him a pass, paid for more stone, and tried again. We recently hired him again and when he did not seem to remember what we asked him to do, we sent explicit instructions via text. He was supposed to 1) create a shallow rubber mulch area; 2) top off mulch in other areas; 3) pull weeds in our beds (that was a disaster as the weeds came roaring back in less than a week even though we repeatedly asked they pull them by the roots - that has never happened with any other landscaping company we have hired - and they even just skipped some of the beds); 4) clean the frog pond (another disaster - it has never been left with so much leaves and debris in it with any other landscaper - I have to clean it again myself now); and 5) the worst part is that we purchased a Cherry Tree, gave explicit instructions how to plant it even though we should not have had to because this is a landscaping company (with root top slightly - 1 inch - above ground, with leaf grow and mulch, which we purchased). A week later I noticed the tree was dying, so I notified Jefferson shortly thereafter and asked him if he planted it correctly. His response was a non-response. The dying tree did not make sense - it was beautiful when it was planted - so we dug the tree up ourselves and found the top of the root ball approximately 6 inches below ground. WHY? Fajardo does not know how to properly plant a tree? I notified Jefferson - no response. I notiried him repeatedly and asked for a refund for the tree - nothing else - just the tree. No response. We would never hire Fajardo again. They do blow leaves well. But, we paid them $1500 for labor, purchased all mulch, leaf grow, and the tree ourselves. Also, the shallow bed was also supposed to be devoid of grass and within a week, grass was growing all through it, so I have had to take on that chore of pulling up grass that should have been taken care of my Jefferson. Our observation is that his dad works hard, Jefferson not so much.

We had them come out and perform a spring mulch/weeding/…read moregeneral landscape improvement last week. They are fairly priced, show up on time and work diligently to get the job done in one day. I would recommend them to others in our neighborhood without reservation. I cannot rate them highly enough

The downspouts in the back of my yard had no run from their termination points, and the one that…read moredid collapsed a few weeks ago. I contacted Nature's Friends to sort out my issues and Cliff was over at my house in no time. He talked through any prior water retention issues I had, and came up with a plan to future proof our house from any flooding that could happen with big storms. The crew were back out within a few days and executed the plan as Cliff specified. The laborers placed one of the pop-ups a little too close to the house, and without any intervention, the day-of-supervisor spoke with me to let me know they would extend it according to plan, and corrected everything. They also replaced my sump pump, which was not the easiest thing due to a seized grate closure (see pics), and at a fraction of the price quoted by plumbers. I was really impressed with how quick everything was completed, and for a job like this (digging long trenches to run PVC), my yard looks nearly immaculate. They gave me instructions to heal the grass patches so my lawn would look as it did before in no time. After the work was done, Cliff reached out to make sure all was working well when it rained. I highly recommend reaching out to Nature's Friend for any of your needs -- you can tell they really care about their customers, and I will be reaching out to them for any future landscaping needs.

Amara Aquila (Magma) uses her geothermal abilities to tunnel into the lair where it appears Kitty has been bound to a chair, only for the New Mutants to discover to their horror that Illyana's friend is nothing more than a hologram and they have become entrapped by Emma Frost, the Hellfire Club's White Queen, a powerful telepath. After calling on Amara's earthquake powers to create a distraction, Illyana transports the team to Limbo, the demon realm over which she reigns and out of the reach of Frost. But what if, in an alternate story progression from Chris Claremont and Sal Buscema's New Mutants issues 15 and 16, the team then learns that they could set their own trap for Emma Frost? What if, during Danielle Moonstar's psychic interrogation of a few low-level employees, they discover that the White Queen is a sucker for the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas, and that teleporting themselves to Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville, Maryland, could provide all of the disruptions they need to negate the White Queen's most powerful weapon: her focused mind? Frost might find her lavish tastes torn into infinite directions, from the touchy-feely animal books that could lull young toddler mutant recruits to sleep to the Beatrix Potter-like dining sets that could enchant their distrusting yet nostalgic guardians; from the individually-crafted, kaleidoscopically-colored puppets that could entertain homesick adolescents to the visually-radiant and climatologically-resilient mums, whose scented whispers could soothe teenage lasses who seek something to take care of; and, suddenly, Amara's tunneling skills and Illyana's teleporting prowess might completely escape Frost's notice.
