She is so thoughtful in the process and it really shows through her arrangements. Erin is a true artist. She designed my wedding flowers, flowers for my business every week for the last two years, gifts for friends in both happy and sad occasions or just to say hi. The most special arrangement came last year when I had to bury my husband. Without even asking what I was looking for Erin arrived with the most beautiful arrangements that were a compliment to our wedding flowers. To say Buckaroo is a special business is a huge understatement. I would say she is the best in the business and can't recommend her enough.

They were already the only florist I regularly ordered arrangements from before I was engaged, so there was never really a question of who I wanted for our wedding. I already knew I loved their flowers, but boy, was I blown away by what they were able to create when the wedding day finally came. I feel like we truly had the most gorgeous wedding florals of all time. While we already thought we would love the flowers themselves, working with Iann and the Plum team made me love their entire operation even more. They took my scattered ideas and inspiration photos and somehow turned them into what I genuinely believe were the most beautiful wedding flowers I have ever seen. Every arrangement felt unique, intentional, and completely us. They were also incredibly thoughtful about our budget, finding creative ways to repurpose our ceremony flowers throughout the reception, including around our sweetheart table, without sacrificing the vision for a second. Beyond the flowers, Plum is just a really cool business run by really cool, down-to-earth people. Wedding planning can be stressful, and it was so refreshing to work with a team that was professional, genuine, easy to trust, and actually fun to be around. I talked about them so much that when my parents came to visit from out of town, I literally brought them into the shop without an appointment just so they could meet Iann and see the place I'd been raving about for months. On the wedding day, everything was handled so efficiently that we barely noticed how much work was happening behind the scenes. The flowers were moved, repurposed, packaged, and brought to our room so seamlessly that we were able to stay completely present and simply enjoy the day. After the wedding, they even helped us purchase the gorgeous ceremony vases for an unbelievably reasonable price and surprised us with one of the pedestal bowls from a reception arrangement, which now has a permanent place in our home. Plum has also created one of my favorite arrangements outside of our wedding. My then-fiancé (now husband!) surprised me with a custom arrangement for my "Berry in Love" bridal shower, and every flower perfectly matched the shades of red and pink from my theme. It was absolutely stunning and one of my favorite arrangements I've ever received. I am genuinely proud that Plum was part of our wedding team. Whether you need one beautiful arrangement, a custom gift, or full event florals, I truly cannot recommend them more. They are unbelievably talented people who also happen to be some of the kindest and most genuine you'll meet. We will absolutely be Plum customers for life.

However, they list three bouquet "options": Good, Better, and Best--the difference being simply more flowers for more money. She was offered two upgrades by La Ocasion Flower Shop and accepted them both at additional charges. My mother was so excited to arrange for this special surprise. Upon delivery, I sent her a picture of my orchid, thanking her for the thoughtfulness. Immediately, she realized there was a mistake. While pretty, it was not at all what she ordered and paid for. She immediately phoned La Ocasión. For three weeks, she left messages and received little response and no accountability. She was told they didn't have the supplies to deliver what they sold her, but did not offer any sort of recompense. It wasn't until she threatened to call the Better Business Bureau that they processed a refund. Mistakes happen. Supply chain shortages happen. However, selling her an out of stock product and then refusing to take accountability for weeks is terrible business. Pictures attached. Like most seniors, my mother lives on a fixed income. She was so distressed at the idea La Ocasión might be taking advantage of her. For three weeks, she worried about a resolution. She didn't tell me until it was over. I am appalled and disappointed at the way she was treated. I do not recommend La Ocasión.
