Tractor Supply is less well-stocked, but at least I don't feel like I'm intruding just walking in.

Sydney was calm and gentle reassuring the cat, and quickly trimmed the nails. The cat is much happier now. So am I! I have never trimmed a cats claws before. The price was a reasonable $20 well worth it to me. All the staff were friendly, greeted me and asked if I needed help.

Now our little girl is hospitalized, we have spent $4,000 trying to save her, and she may lose her tail. My wife cries, cannot eat normally, and is losing weight from heartbreak. Every day, we live with the fear of losing a little soul who means the world to us. I WANT NO MONEY. I WANT NO APOLOGY. I WANT NOTHING FROM THIS BUSINESS. But I hope everyone who reads this understands one thing: an animal's suffering does not end when the customer walks out the door. The pain follows the family home. It sits at the dinner table. It steals sleep, appetite, and peace of mind. Our little girl cannot speak for herself. So I am speaking for her. We will never forget what our family is going through. And I hope no other family ever has to learn this kind of heartbreak the way we have. UPDATE: The owner's response still leaves a critical question unanswered: how did our sugar glider suffer such a serious tail injury while in their care? I saw a dog moving freely around the store, and I cannot help wondering whether there could have been an incident involving that dog. I cannot claim to know exactly what happened, but the possibility is deeply concerning. My childhood pet macaw was boarded at Ana's Parrots & Supplies for a few weeks while my family completed a local move. During its stay, my macaw became seriously ill. According to the veterinarian who treated her afterward, she contracted a virus that is typically spread by other birds. She later aspirated, developed pneumonia, and tragically passed away. After discovering the illness, we called the owner to inform her of what happened. Instead of expressing any concern or taking responsibility, she was rude and blamed my mother for the bird becoming sick -- despite the fact that our macaw had never been exposed to other birds in her entire life until being boarded here. My mother spent roughly $2,000 on testing and treatment trying to save her, only for her to pass shortly after. Since sharing our experience, several local bird owners, avian vets, and bird experts in our area have echoed similar concerns about this facility. I truly wish we had known all of this beforehand. Losing a lifelong family pet in this way was devastating. While I can only speak to my personal experience, the lack of accountability and the conditions that allowed this to happen are deeply concerning. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision before trusting this business with the care of their birds.
