Although the place was relatively crowded, it was not very crazy at all especially when we first came in after opening and the staff behind the bar were kind of rude. I asked for a flight and they seemed annoyed they had to make one instead of just pouring 1 beer, and i was reading the menu and didn't have all my numbers ready to fire off - more upset. Additionally, my wife and I sat down at the bar about 1 hour after the place opened and we both had glass all over our chairs and now in our bottoms. The bartender was annoyed when my wife asked him to clean it - he said some glass thing exploded there before opening... so you didn't clean it? And then were annoyed customers had glass in their pants? make that make sense.

Bar Braz may look tiny from the outside, but don't be fooled, this winebar has three floors of seating areas. Bar Braz is decorated with simple wooden tables and chairs and some quirky little details. The lavatory is a bit difficult to find, but FYI it's hidden behind the black chalkboard panel behind the bar. And yes, it even says WC written in chalk. The wait staff is young, attractive looking and very friendly. The public there is also as young and relaxed as the vibe here at Bar Braz.

I tried to bring my parents here for lunch however as soon as we walked through the door, the staff behind the counter didn't waste a moment of our time and informed us that there were no tables. Fortunately, they had and we were able to snag a table easily. By this time, it was dangerously close to dinnertime and in the interest of having enough gastric space for dinner, we were light with this "snack". I started with the Quinta do Encontro Baga & Merlot, a dark red Portuguese wine with spicy hints. I then had a glass of excellent Chakana Organic Syrah, which had some chocolate flavors.
