I just phoned this number. The store in Manhattan Beach is closed, they only work from their home. They do not buy wigs or hairpieces.

Went to look for a wig for my mother. It easy to make an appointment. The Owner was very nice and patient with my mother. Great service!!

***BUYERS BEWARE*** COMPANY DOES NOT WANT TO GIVE REFUNDS!!! Firstly, the colors are MUCH darker than what's pictured online. Received item and didn't like color. First Red Flag: Contacted site for RMA. Waited days. No RMA sent. Called company. Second Red Flag: The gal pushed and pushed for exchange, instead of refund. Finally told me what to do with it. Third Red Flag: Wig Salon received item and said my card "couldn't be refunded". They had NO PROBLEM taking the funds but BIG PROBLEM refunding. They even went as far as accusing me of having a fraudulent card!! The emails from said owner were very uncaring and flippant. They now hold both the product AND my $150 and they refuse to understand why I'm upset! The company is a scam and I hope someone scams them as much as they have scammed me. BUYERS BEWARE! read more

I came from Houston, Texas to visit my daughter and her family for Thanksgiving. I had visited this store's website but never purchased anything because I always had trouble with the site. I told my daughter, visiting this Manhattan Beach store was a must while I was in town! WOW! What a gem this place is! The ladies working there, Mariah and Julian, could not have been nicer! My daughter and I tried on wigs until closing time. I couldn't decide on what to buy so we went back today. Again, these two wonderful ladies went above and beyond to help my daughter and me. No high pressure sales pitches, just genuine awesome customer assistance. It was such a wonderful experience to be able to see the colors and try on the styles! I was in wig heaven! Their prices were far better than anything I could get online and I've shopped at all of the big stores online! I purchased three wigs for myself and one for my daughter. I have alopecia, but my daughter just wanted to try out a wig. Visiting this fabulous little store will now be a part of all my trips back out here. I really hope Mariah and Julian will still be here! If you visit this primarily online store, you may want to call first to check their hours and don't be alarmed that there is no sign indicating the name of the shop. They are legit, for sure! Also, don't expect them to have every single color in every style. Wig shops don't operate that way. They will be more than happy to order a color for you if they don't have what you want in stock. They're building a new website which is great for me in case I do need another wig before I get back out here! Thank you WigSalon! I'll be back! read more

While visiting the area I paid a visit to this wonderful little boutique shop. I did not have an appointment but they were more than accommodating to my limited time in town. I do recommend making an appointment as common courtesy though as they do get busy which I noticed while in there. In any case, I learned so much about wigs and hair pieces in such little time, the young lady there took her time making me feel comfortable and educating me on wig care. I felt they were honest and to the point without being pushy. There's nothing that I dislike more than being followed around a store and I did not feel that was the case here. They seem cautious making sure that you are the one making a purchase which I also appreciate for safety reasons. I feel that this was a very pleasant experience and I certainly would come back either in person or as an online shopper as well as recommend to my friends and family. Thank you wigsalon people! read more

If you would like to get ripped off and overcharged, get misled and get the wrong wig color, get your wigs in torn and abused boxes and wait 2 1/2 months for an exchange, then use this company. I recommend wigs.com, they are extremely accommodating and have very fast deliver. It's awfully ironic that Wig Salon's website mentions how fast they ship 3 times, while I still do not have a wig that was an exchange, received by them on 10/17/14 (tracking number verifies this - the one I did get in the wrong color (orange) was mailed on 12/15/14, 2 months after my exchanges were received). Trust me, don't waste your time or money with this company. read more

Stopped by the other day and was not impressed. One, there are no prices listed. Two, the poor clerk, was trying to handle customers with no help from some guy who stayed on the phone. Minutes later, he gets off and I ask the price of a wig while letting him know that I need a cap. Obviously, I didn't feel like traveling outside Torrance for something. After looking up the price, he goes into this pitch that I won't find a better deal. Rotflmbao...can you say Crenshaw Blvd? Yes, I realize where I am but that approach was a real turnoff, especially after having to wait for service. Another thumbs-down was that struggle weave the apologetic clerk wore...like some sad feral cat died on top of her head. Now back to dude, this was a cash transaction, with all sales final, and he asks me my name. I'm thinking it's a customer service move so I might be inclined to return. Instead of asking me to spell it, he asks to see my drivers license...WTF? I asked why does he want to know this since I paid in cash. He mumbled something about the receipt but I told him that was okay, I didn't plan on returning. Update: In response to Joe's feedback below, who opens a business next to a trader Joe's and not set up for foot traffic? Especially with the large companies nearby that have employees in the tens and hundreds. read more

I am lucky that I found Wig Salon. They are an online company, but they have a retail store in Manhattan Beach. It was worth the drive to get custom fittings & helpful suggestions. . I've lost my hair due to chemo treatments and ordered 4 wigs online from another company...most did not fit or looked "fake" I went into the store & was greeted by Amber, who took such good care of me. A private place to try on different styles, Amber suggested several styles that I would not have considered ...which turned out to be the best! She never made me feel rushed. She offered suggestions about how to style each one. She showed me several that were more affordable..but they actually looked good! I bought 2...but there is one more that Im saving up to buy (expensive..but amazing!) I took mine to my hairstylist & had them custom cut to fit my face. Amber made the experience so much better for me...my anxiety went away (I'm still not comfortable showing my bald head..it's just too much for me right now) One of the online consultants, Chris even offered suggestions that truly helped me to make my choices & save a few $$$. I'm so glad I went into the store instead...everything fits better & looks natural. Thank you Amber & Chris! I'll be back for the "Queen of Thrones" wig soon! read more

Took my mom, who has lost her hair due to cancer, to Wigsalon and the lady (who sits at first desk near entry) was very knowledgeable and helpful. My mom got a fantastic wig at a great price. She was very informative about wigs in general, like how to care for the wig and how to re-order online. I do know they do a lot of on-line business, but my mom had to try on 15 wigs before she found the right one. read more

I had a friend who needed a wig, and after looking through multiple places, we selected wigsalon.com because they're prices were the best, and the selection was much better. She ended up picking one of the Noriko wigs and is really happy with the way it looks. Delivery was fast. All-in-all, the transaction was great. Would use them again. read more

Please please review if you've had a bad experience Yelp is being kind to this man. We need to leave more reviews! So many people forget! I should have researched this website and the owner prior to calling He offers 30% off but it's a lie. He marks them up 30% and then marks them down. You can find better prices at extensions.com. They often have sales for 30% off My little piece cost $190 through Joseph. Through extensions.com it cost me $118. Same 30% off full price Be sure to Google the name Joe Este It's also an alias because he's had so many bad reviews in Florida. He now works out of California Manhattan Beach. I ordered an extension and he seemed pleasant enough. I realized he like to talk on the phone quite a bit so I tried to get off as soon as possible After hearing the uncertainty from his voice I called several different companies such as noriko and Jon Renau. After speaking to somebody super kind and knowledgeable about all things pretty in general, (she is there Monday through Friday 9 AM till 5 PM Pacific time), I made a decision on the color style / model etc. When I placed the order with Joe, he didn't repeat it back correctly so I clearly said it again. It was a specific color, a specific name. Not too difficult if you know your product. When I was about to get off the phone with him he repeated back the wrong piece, wrong color wrong length. I had corrected him twice now. I was concerned. He assured me it would be there Thursday. That was on a Monday at 12 noon Pacific standard time We had discussed a Thursday arrival before the weekend it didn't arrive until Saturday. He sent me the wrong item the wrong color. Not really a big deal except that time was an issue for me and he was becoming a big headache on the phone I was concerned about paying additional to rush the order but he assured me it would be there by the date we had discussed. In addition to sending me the completely wrong piece it was also late It literally took 3 weeks to get this guy to take his product back. During this process he refused to take responsibility for his mistake. He kept trying to tell me that I was uncertain in the beginning. That is correct, I was uncertain when I first called him. It was the first website that popped up. - however I spoke to the young lady at jon Renau She helped me come to a decision after an hour of chatting with her on the phone. One time. Este refused to refund me my money and I told him I would be leaving him a bad review. He told me he would leave my ex fiancé a bad review. I asked him why? he's never done any business with you. He lives across the country from you His response? "well based on the character of you. and because I can " It wouldn't surprise me that he would stoop to that kind of level since researching his past this guy loves to blow hot air. He resorts to name calling and emails at all hours. It's as though he has nothing better to do Several times I told him- "you are so rude! How are you're still in business" I guess, unfortunately people such as myself don't research. he actually tried to have me send the product back to the company from which he ordered it from instead of to himself. Way more trouble / Big bag of hot air that won't stop He seems to push all the right buttons. He somehow contacted my ex through his email telling him to get a hold of me get us like strong-arm your woman or I will leave bad reviews for you and your business Google this man and this website before you actually make a purchase!! Sorry for the super long review! I hope this helps! The two "girls" here seemed perturbed that I deigned to enter their messy "showroom" and didn't bother greeting me. I was looking for something specific and was told, "We don't have your color. We're mainly an online store." I had already looked at their website--of course they have my very common color... They seemed unhappy that a real, live person was there! I told the one who "helped" me that the least she could have done was match a color swatch for me and she, again, replied, "We don't have your color. Sorry." ALSO, even if it were true that my color was so far out there that there was no way to match it, the clerk should have suggested a few other colors/looks! read more

The chemo took my hair so, my doc said, you'll need a wig - it won't be coming back any time soon. So....I did my research and found The Wig Salon. I called ahead and made an appt with Amanda. She was sweet and attentive to me and also to my two friends I brought along. Our goal was to find my "fake out wig" so, my clients would not know that I'm bald!! I did research before we arrived and made a list of the styles I wanted to try. Amanda caught on quickly and brought us all of the wigs they had that matched my selected style selection. I was thrilled when we found the perfect one - it looks just like my hair!! The price was terrific and Amanda was so kind and helpful. She explained how to care for the wig and made sure I had all of the supplies I needed. Coming here - I was depressed and distressed about being bald from the chemo. I left feeling confident with my new hair and really enjoyed the experience that Amanda helped to create. She's a gem and this place is pretty great! read more

What a fabulous find! 5 stars! I have been buying wigs for about 4 years. Usually, a fairly "nice" wig with which I am happy costs between $150-200. TODAY, I snagged THREE that I really liked for $200. I was amazed. The variety is huge, the prices low. It's a really low-key place, and there is a private room for trying on the wigs. I walked in, and Amanda helped me for over an hour. It was no trouble for her to help me try them on, give some advice, look in the back for alternate colors, and help me with styling them. She is very sharp, remembered my husband's name, and quickly caught on to what I liked and what I didn't like. She commented that everyone is different.....some women really like the wild, uncombed look, while others like a "neater" hairstyle. And she rolled along with everything I wanted and remembered everything I said! It was amazing. When I couldn't choose between three, she gave me a price for all of them, knocking off a bit to round down to $200. BTW - there is a sign in the shop that paying cash nets you 5% off - good to keep in mind! I will return here in a heartbeat when I need another wig, due to the variety and the number the store has on hand. For me, it was much better to try on 10-15 wigs than to order one on the internet and hope/pray that it looked good. You just can't tell until you actually try it on yourself. In-store is the best way to get a wig, unless you know a name and style and can order direct on the internet. Amanda is a gem! What a great nonjudgmental person to have helping people try on wigs! I loved her opinions and suggestions. Thank you, Wig Salon, you made my day - probably made the rest of my year! read more

I came in here desperate for a nice wig to cover my shaved head from brain surgery. After going to 3 other places on the same day, they were the best! Diane was assisting me and she was more than helpful! She suggested many wigs that she thought would look great on me and It was very helpful. They also have the best selection and look more realistic compared to many places! read more

Wonderful prices, good quality product and I just got to experience their amazing customer service. I won't buy anywhere else. Thank you!

This company is really weird. Placed an online order for a wig and they put a hold on my order because they questioned that I had a different billing address from my shipping address however they still put the charge through on my account! They sent me this crazy email requesting the weirdest information, sounded like some Nigerian scam, wanting me to send them a copy of my card or a screen shot of my computer showing the charge on my account to verify I was the actual cardholder. I don't think so! Demanded they cancelled my order as I was starting to get concerned that I was being scammed and fortunately they did, just hope they follow through with removing the charge from my account like they said they would. Maybe they are a legit store but their online practices are really strange. read more

Watch out for Barbara (Sales Associate T: 1800-262-8437 Ext: 302) who is an extremely rude individual! It is difficult to buy a wig online but these people make it even more difficult. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Treatment here was devoid of moral compass. Once they have you they will abuse you! The last order I made with them took two weeks to arrive and that order was sent only after I called and complained. How do these kinds of people stay in business? read more

Today I visited WigSalon for the first time and I am so glad that I did! I didn't think to make an appointment, so my friend and I wandered around and selected wigs for me to try on. As soon as the customers with appointments were finished, the staff helped us. They were all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I am bald due to chemo, but the ladies made it a fun and pleasant experience! Their prices were great and I ended up buying two!!! I highly recommend WigSalon. read more

My good friend is about to lose her hair to chemo and after making an appointment at Wig Salon in Manhattan Beach, today was the day we visited their store. As soon as we walked in the door, Amanda warmly greeted my friend by name and was most accommodating during the entire time we were there. She helped my friend try on several styles and colors of wigs and was most patient and helpful during the entire visit. Their selection is excellent and the prices seem quite reasonable. Highly recommended! read more

I have been buying wigs from wig salon for years. They used to be in Atlantic City, then Florida now California. I have always been very happy with their wigs. I have been buying Raquel Welch wigs for the past ten years, because I love the color Glazed Auburn and also like the look of the wigs. I get lots of compliments on the color. I have bought different styles over the years. I will continue using WigSalon when I buy a wig. I wear a wig every day. read more

I have purchased a few wigs from this company. When i was out of town, had already cut the tags off (too many circumstances to go into)the owner,Joseph, actually answered my phone call that day! What a sweetheart. He gave me his personal attention for as long as i needed it.Who needed to go to a shop with the owner caring enough to help me with styles and color for, i am sorry to say, quite a few days. He helped me out of a problem and made me feel so good about the company and myself! .Joe's company cares about the customers and not just the final numbers. That being said, I love my new Requal Welsh "Close Up" wig.It has 3 different colors and as the CEO said,"all the bells and whistles!" Thank you, Wig Salon soooo much!! I will always be your loyal customer. read more

I had a really good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. They quickly helped me narrow down the choices and steered me towards a less expensive but very nice choice, instead of up-selling me. The Wig Salon is just a few blocks from my house and I have passed by many times on my walks. I never imagined I would need a wig myself. In October I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and I am now getting chemotherapy. My doctor told me that I would lose my hair and I thought that I would just get some hats/caps and wear them until my hair grew back in. Then I lost my hair. I had the caps ready but I still felt so alien and really didn't want to go out in public. I called and made an appt. with Diane at Wig Salon and went in today. She was so helpful. I did not feel self-conscious without my cap. She let me try on several different wigs and I ended up buying 2 because I couldn't decide. I felt so normal again. There were several more that I liked so they opened a file for me and put the names of the ones I liked on a "wish list". The prices are great. The service is caring and helpful. This was not my first experience looking for a wig. My daughter and I went to a store in Torrance that was recommended by the TMMC Breast Center and we were treated very rudely. I told her I had never tried on a wig before and wasn't sure what I wanted. She gave me some catalogs to look at and told me I couldn't try on any wigs until I made up my mind to buy it first. I can't imagine a shoe or clothing store telling you that you couldn't try on anything unless you were going to buy it. We left - never to return. I recommend that you call ahead and make an appt. You won't be sorry for shopping here. read more
