I have never seen a person be able to communicate with a dog like Allison does. She is extremely knowledgeable about everything canine and can read a dog's behavior like second-nature. She can identify your dog's behavioral problems/anxieties/issues without hesitation because she is that well-versed in dog psychology. From the moment that I brought Luna home, she would go into a down position anytime a car would pass by during our walks. At first, I thought this was a quirky puppy behavior that she'd eventually grow out of but as she grew older and the behavior became worse, I feared there was something larger at play. Allison was recommended to me by a neighbor, who observed me struggling with Luna. Unbeknownst to me, my neighbor's dog had similar issues with wanting to chase moving things. I was so impressed by how well-behaved my neighbor's dog was that I couldn't believe that the dog had any behavioral problems to begin with. I called Allison immediately after my neighbor gave me her contact information. If it wasn't for Allison, I would've never known that Luna's prey drive was out of whack and this was something that needed to be corrected immediately. She also explained in-depth the psychology behind why Luna was behaving this way, which really helped me better understand how to communicate with my puppy. Communication is KEY in training and I've never met anyone who can communicate with a dog as well as Allison does. I was terrified to walk Luna but within just five times meeting, she has already made extremely great progress. Her confidence builds every day and Allison is to thank for that. Luna now listens effortlessly to any command, mind you she is only 25-weeks old. Hazel was groomed there on Monday May 4, 2026. She came home with red, inflamed private area. She…read moredid not eat for 3 days. Drank very little water and cowered close to floor when walking and would walk far from us. Called 4 paws and related this. Was told to put baby powder on, it's normal. 4 paws called back several minutes later saying to put coconut oil on. Took her to vet. After examining her was told it was from cuts to area and Prednisone was prescribed for 12 days along with medicated pads to clean that area. There is no reason our dog should have any cuts to that area. There is no reason to be that aggressive. There is no reason to cut inside the folds of her privates. No animal should have to endure what they did. I can only imagine how she struggled with that grooming. I don't know who shaved her that day. I remember being told how over busy they were and how the dogs were not behaving but Hazel was good. Shame on the person who did this to this little Yorkie and shame in the others for allowing it.
