Allison Christian is a convicted felon and has a rap sheet a mile long. burglary, grand theft, and battery. Google her and you'll see all the mug shots. How do I know? I made the mistake of hiring her to train my dog. I gave her a check for $1,195 with the promise of 8 sessions. She showed up late for two, and then ghosted me after that. No call, no show, no texts, nothing. I called and texted the website, her personal number and her Facebook page. Nothing. I posted this to a Facebook page and her daughter messaged me and says she wants to make it right by coming to get my dog and take her to her home in Atlanta. What the? I don't trust her mom why would I trust that? Good thing I didn't agree because several people came forward and told me they were scammed out of their money too! One lady said she stole her dog! I asked to just get the money back that she owed for not providing the services. She said she wasn't going to because Allison had a bad back and had to go to the doctors. How does that equal not calling? She could call the doctor but not me? How does that equal not returning my money? Anyway, after hearing how all the others went through the same thing I did, (Google and Facebook) reviews say she used excuses for not returning their money too!) I knew I'd never see a dime of the money back, so I filed a police report and we are all going to take Top Dog and the two family members to court. I even gave them a few days to "make it right " by just paying me what I was owed and the daughter told me she fired Allison and wasn't responsible- even though it's her company and I wrote the check to Top Dog. Oh, and check them out on bbb... anyone that complained about them on there about being ripped off....apparently Top Dog calls animal control out of retaliation and says the owners are abusing their dogs. All those cases against the dog owners were dropped as they saw it was just a vengeance thing for Top Dog. This business is all around bad with sketchy owners and takes advantage of people that trust them to help with their dogs. Stay away. Wink news is doing a story exposing them this week. Allison from Naples Top Dogs is a very knowledgeable trainer. She began working with my 3.5 YO Scottish Terriers, about 6 weeks after we adopted them. Being litter mates, and a bonded pair, they were very co-dependent, and within 4 weeks, they they can work separately, and they know all of the basic commands: sit, down, stay, touch, wait, "with me" (heel), go to bed, and more!! If you are researching for a puppy trainer that only uses positive reinforcement then look no further, she is the best at what she does, very knowledgable and caring about Daisy. Her office is a nice car as she comes to our house but i will say always on time, that is how we found her as the initial trainer never came back after taking a check for a lot of money. He went to Georgia so probably wont see him again but its ok we learned so much and had a lot of fun doing it. Highly recommend! read more
