What is a typical session like? Would you explain your processes to me? I have a Cavapoo at home and she was doing great but I a not sure whats going on now, shes's biting a lot!

Hello and thank you for asking this question. Puppy biting is very common, her teeth hurt and she is away from her mother and littermates. The best step you can employ is feeding her from chew toy devices like Kong, West Paw, Pupsicle. Another… Read more

Shame it only goes to 5 stars. Lanelle has taken care of JimBob (an insecure, hyperactive,…read moremischievous Havanese) for over eight years now. I never would have thought to find anyone with the patience and heart she has exhibited in these years. My wife and I feel confident when we go away knowing JimBob has been left in the care of a true professional in animal care.

Her capacity to care for humans in need is also remarkable. Read on... This year my mother passed away, leaving her precious little pup Kabuki reeling with the loss. A few months later, my father became ill and could no longer care for him. I was also ill (this has been the year from hell) and couldn't come to bring him to his new home with us in Portland with. On short notice, Lanelle took care of him for us for more than a month (maybe even 2?), sending us photos of him in pumpkin patches, doing yoga poses, looking clearly happy. And she did all sorts of extra things to help us, like take him to the vet and calling around to get the certificate of health needed for the ground transport service to bring him to me. And the most endearing thing was how she checked in with me several times after she sent him off, missing him, wanting updates and to know he was well. Now that is the kind of woman you want caring for your special little fur-babies. WOW. just wow. She helped us through a time of crisis, providing Kabuki with stability and love when he most needed it and we couldn't be there for him. We couldn't have done it without her. Now our little pup is happily enjoying his retirement in Portland.

We called to confirm if the patient records we sent had been received--nothing out of the ordinary. Instead, we were met with complete silence for nearly two minutes. No greeting, no acknowledgment. When she finally spoke, it was with a rude, dismissive "um... can you hold up?" and a tone that was completely unacceptable. Her attitude was not only unprofessional--it was outright disrespectful. This type of behavior is unacceptable in any professional setting, especially in veterinary care where clear, respectful communication between clinics is essential for the wellbeing of our shared patients. This is not the level of service or professionalism anyone should expect, especially in a setting that involves the care of animals and coordination between veterinary professionals. I sincerely hope this is addressed, as it reflects poorly on the entire establishment. Her attitude was shockingly careless and disrespectful. In a field where communication and compassion matter--especially between veterinary teams--this kind of behavior is inexcusable. It left a terrible impression of the facility as a whole. If this is how Pet Paradise handles basic inter-clinic communication, it raises serious concerns about how they manage more critical interactions. This experience was incredibly disappointing and reflects poorly on their facility. Pet Paradise needs to seriously evaluate who they have representing their front desk.
