Sophie was very kind and helpful! She was pretty busy the day I called with 3 appointments filling up the rest of her day, but I got at 10 a.m. appointment for the following day. I found a Jon Renau (which I read is a great brand) synthetic, medium-length dark brown/amber wig for roughly $400. The price seemed reasonable for what I was looking at on the internet. She also gave me a free hat since I'm a cancer patient. One of my friends happened to be picking up lumpia at a store nearby and stopped in who is about 2 weeks ahead of me going through chemotherapy as well and has lost all of her hair. She is considering a wig purchase later, but Sophie wasn't pushy at all and even gave her a free hat which was so sweet of her. Sophie showed me the type of low-heat styling tool I can use on the hair and what I could come in for any cleaning and hair trims. She also gave me a form with the receipt attached and told me to submit it to insurance to get up to 30% off reimbursement, so I plan I trying for that. I came here to try out their eyelash extensions and was blown away by all that Sophie had to offer at her store! This store not only does eyelash extensions, but also sells wigs (both synthetic and real hair) and hair extensions. I told her that I liked tape-ins the best, and she showed me how she adjusts them to be smaller so that they are more comfortable and hair can be worn up! All of the hair, both synthetic and real, was very soft and looked really nice. She showed me how to use the clip ins and let me try on the purple after asking my favorite color - so sweet and personalized. My hair has been thinning for some years now but in the past year has become so thin I cannot even wear it down without it looking so sparse. She was very knowledgeable and REALISTIC about the expectations about extensions, especially for my very fine and thinning hair. I came in and we also spoke about which hair would be best for my hair type. She does not skimp on the quality of hair so that is also something that caught my eye. She made sure I knew all of my options which was really nice because it opened my mind to new ideas I didn't think were possible. I also noticed she was careful with the handling of my hair, which I notice a lot of hair stylists are not. She constantly would also ask how I was feeling and although my hair was already taking a long time she still made sure to take her time ensuring that I was comfortable and the extensions were in properly.
