Jessica is absolutely amazing! She always has my lashes looking beautiful, and the quality of her lashes is top-notch. Her business is professional, clean, and welcoming. I've been going to Jessica at Lash Desire, for over a year...I can honestly say she is exceptional at what she does. She is professional, talented, attentive, and truly cares about her clients. The quality of her work and the service she provides are what deserve to be the focus. I've seen some of the negative reviews mentioning the air conditioning, and honestly, it's unfortunate to see someone's entire review of a talented business owner reduced to an issue like that. If you have enough time and energy to write a harsh review, I think it's worth remembering that small inconveniences are not a reflection of the quality, talent, and care someone provides to their clients. Jessica deserves recognition for her work and dedication. I highly recommend her and Lash Desire. Give her a chance and judge for yourself based on the beautiful work she does--not someone else's personal grievance. read more

I came into lashes desire to get service done by another business who booth rents inside here. So my review is for the establishment of lash and desire, not the business I get service from. When entering, I get hit with the hottest room ever. The thermostat was reading above 82°. When I ask if we can turn the air conditioning on, I was told they weren't able to because they needed a key and the owner of lashes desire was the only one who had it and didn't allow them any access to it. The two businesses who rent from here have all rights to utilities as they pay rent and us clients who pay services should not have to deal with being uncomfortable. The owner is being completely unethical. During a few of my encounters, I've heard her bad mouth the two businesses to her clients WHILE me and other clients are getting services done. We all stay quiet to keep it respectful but truthfully, I would love to say something because the two businesses renting from her have been nothing but great to me. The city of San Diego needs to come into this business and expect the facility. During a heat wave, the air conditioning NEEDS to be provided at ALL times. To be honest, it should have never been restricted. read more

I 100% recommend Jessica and her business. I started with her in June for a busy summer and I am addicted to her work and lashes! She's always polite, timely, compassionate and communicative. I highly recommend this business! read more

I have been going to Lashes Desire for over a year to see my nail tech (who is great), who rents a space from Jessica Nguyen. For about the last year, you don't need a knife, you need a sword to cut the air in the place. Because Jessica, who owns lashes desire, has a really poor attitude towards anyone who comes in for the nail tech. She is petty about one foot spaces, and so and walks around slamming things and doors. She also openly speaks poorly about the nail tech, which is very immature- when clientele is sitting in the same small space. Yesterday, for no reason, Jessica came up and started yelling that the nail tech worked under her license. But she doesn't, and she has her own license. Jessica is extremely unprofessional towards any customer who is not hers. And it is not okay. During the summer, she made clientele sit in 80+ degree heat in side the shop. I'm not sure what Jessica's issue is with the nail techs clients, but it's very bad. I do not recommend Lashes Desire, due to the immature way that this owner behaves towards customers that are not her own. read more

I recently got serviced done here (not by Jessica). It was extremely hot inside and I noticed the thermostat was reading more than 85 degrees. It was unbearable. When I asked if we can turn the AC on, both the subleases were unable to turn on the AC. It was locked and uncomfortable. Removing the key is literally abuse of power!! read more

A most disturbing visit to my nail salon. I had no idea all of incoming clients would be ill treated. I was 2x verbally accosted as I sat for my nail services by both the proprietor of Lashes Desire and one of her loud clients when I asked if the air conditioning could be turned on. read more

Lashes Desire - The Police should be notified. The proprietor of 'Lashes Desire' rented two spaces and closed off the ventillation. - Eyelash Service Near Me - San Diego, California

I'm so overwhelmed with sadness regarding the treatment Jessica Nguyen gives the two women who rent a space in this salon. When Ms. Nguyen is not present in her Rancho Bernardo salon, Lashes Desire, she has chosen to shut off and lock the air conditioning unit in her establishment. That leaves working conditions unhealthy and unbearable for those who are at work. I had an appointment yesterday and at 72 yrs of age, I could barely stand the lack of air. Outside temps were high 90s when I was at the salon outside. No doors could be left open! Today in Rancho Bernardo it hit 101 degrees by 11 am. How in this world can you justify those conditions for any human trying to work, keep their clients and survive under these circumstances. I cannot fathom the irreverence for humanity in this woman. Please rectify the situation. It is sooo very wrong! read more

I would not step foot in this salon if it weren't for my amazing nail technician. The temperature control is never appropriate. There are no amenities, such as Wi-Fi. Come to find out the owner was filming us and recording us, unknowingly and illegal. read more

Jessica is a fantastic technician who has been doing this for 15 years. She is fast, while precise in doing individual lashes and does quality work. I went in to have extensions placed prior to a vacation and have been camera ready ever since, even when swimming. She ensures a clean environment, washes her hands and wears a mask given the proximity to the clients face and the amount of time she's working on your lashes. She's terrific. read more

I took my gf to get her lashes done, and the place looked nice and clean. She told me to look around for a spot, and I found this one. The prices seem affordable and she's quite happy with the work that's been done. I'll definitely bring her back for more touchups. read more

Lashes Desire is simply, fantastic! Before Jessica, I was invisible. My eyelashes were nonexistent, and no amount of mascara would accentuate my greatest asset, my eyes. I love how simple my morning beauty routine has become with lash extensions, and I look fabulous! Jessica takes as much time as necessary to create the perfect effect. The salon has a chic and calming energy, and I walk out feeling refreshed and beautiful after every appointment. Heartfelt appreciation, Victoria/Visual Artist read more

My wife and I have been long time clients with Jessica, and by long time, I mean 10+ years. Her lash skills are the best we have experienced in our lifetime. She takes the time to understand your needs and preferences, ensuring that the lash extensions are tailored perfectly to your face shape and style. Her expertise is evident in the precision of her work; each lash was applied with such care and skill that it looked natural yet enhanced my features beautifully. Jessicas' knowledge of the latest trends and techniques are impressive, and she explains each step of the process, making me feel informed and comfortable throughout the session. The entire experience with Jess is not only about getting great lashes but also about feeling pampered and valued as a client. I always leave her studio feeling confident and grateful for such a positive experience. Jess's dedication to her craft and her commitment to client satisfaction truly set her apart as an exceptional lash technician. read more

Jessica is a true professional who knows what she's doing. Not only does she do an amazing and thorough job, she LISTENS to what you want. I told her I wanted "natural looking/open eye" look and that's just what I got!! I love the ease of having lashes at the ready every day! It's cut my morning routine down by almost 15 minutes because I don't use any liner, shadow or mascara...just a little BB cream, bronzer, brows and lips and out the door! If you want natural lashes that don't look like caterpillars, go see Jessica! read more

I Lashes Desire. I am a very loyal client of Jessica. I've followed Jessica everywhere and have been with her so many years for my lash extensions. I'm all about enhancements that not many know about. I've had many people compliment my lashes and a lot of them don't know they are extensions. All thanks to my amazing lash artist, Jessica. The salon is really beautiful, clean, and very tranquil. She also sells awesome products at the salon. I highly recommend this salon for your natural, beautiful looking lashes and skin care products. read more

Jay is amazing! If I could give him 10 stars I would! He was so kind and sweet, and did exceptional work on my lash extensions. I was really nervous considering it's my first time getting them. He was so detailed with my lashes and took his time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. At the end of the appointment, I was incredibly happy with the results! It made a noticeable difference in my appearance. Jay also made sure I was happy with his work before I left and followed up with me to make sure once I got used to the length, that I loved it - even though I loved it right off the bat. I really appreciated and admired how professional he was, and that it wasn't all just business to him. He cared about how comfortable and satisfied I was. I highly, highly recommend Jay. He's fantastic and you won't regret it. read more

I cannot say enough amazing things about Jessica. First, she's super professional and provides great customer service, making sure her clients are comfortable and have all their questions answered. Second, she's an artist. If you're looking for a quick fix, one time only, budget job on your lashes, you should look somewhere else. Jessica takes her time (although, she does run her own business and she needs to keep to a schedule to respect all of her clients' time), and is a perfectionist. I have sooooo many people that comment on my lashes, from complete strangers to coworkers that finally get up the nerve to say, "are your lashes real??" I think the true mark of her talent is that people can't quite tell if the lashes or real or not. I will never go to another lash lady!! read more

I have been going to Jessica for a couple years now and I think just by saying that proves that her work is quality and her customer retention is high. Not only is she excellent at what she does, she's fair, personable, and just overall a great person. She cares about her clients and is passionate about her work and it definitely shows. My lashes are always amazing after seeing her. read more

I actually waited awhile before coming here.. but I can absolutely say that I am soooo happy I did! Jay was able to accommodate my schedule and worked really fast and efficiently on my lashes. His glue does not burn nor do they irritate my eyes. I can't wait to come back for my fill, because he will be making them more fuller and longer from there. My getting ready routine is so much easier and faster with them. It doesn't even feel like it's there which is the best part! No heavy feeling and no crusty glue. He also followed up with me later on the day by sending me a text for how to care and things he recommended to maintain my lashes. Highly recommend him! read more

Hi Jessica, the intent of my review was not to upset or offend you. As I wrote, you were a lovely person. You took your time, and you explained ways to maintain healthy lashes, whether artificial or natural. I really do appreciate this. The purpose of my review was to share my experience. I understand the risks. I understand that some adhesives don't agree with some people, like myself. I've had my lashes done multiple times before at different places and had never had that experience, so I hope you can understand how distressing it was to be uncomfortable with swollen eyes, especially during a trip over Christmas. It's possible that too much glue was used. It's possible that too much was used too close to my lash line. I recall a lot of painful pinching and pulling during the session from what seemed to be the result of you separating lashes or undoing glued lashes. This is the experience that I wanted to be honest about and give you feedback on. I read your reviews and it sounds like many have had great experiences with you. I don't doubt that. Again, this post is to offer an honest, unbiased recount of my experience. read more

I had a great experience here. My lashes look amazing and I thought the price was very fair. I went with the level one and not only do my lashes look great for an every day look, they are just the amount of glam I wanted for a nice event I have coming up.
