Went through the drive thru, quick service to take my order. Drove around the side and paid my $5.00 and change. Maybe a two-three minute wait .booted for the original dog, (god knows what they contain) not the all beef, nor the polish dog. The soft squishy bun and generic dog brought back memories of school lunches, street food and many late night snacks. Was it a true great dog, no way! But did it fill the need for a forbidden snack (you know, not organic, free range, kosher or whatever overpriced dogs are out there). Glad I fell off the wagon for a bit,! I needed that! read more

I came back tonight with my order. I spoke with "Anna" the "crew manager" and explained everything and asked for a refund. I told her I did not have the receipt but I have the transaction ID from Apple Pay. She said left to make the call to the owner. After about 3 minutes, she came back and said that the owner, named "Said", said he would not give a refund but would replace the food. I told her I did not want any food from here at this point and I only wanted a refund. I asked could I speak to "Said", she said no that was not possible. I am so disappointed and disgusted with Wienerschnitzel right now. This place is a total "$hit show". Do NOT come to this location... Especially if you are a Veteran. It's Monday 6/24/24 at about 6:30pm. We were the only customers. There is lots of free parking. Inside is bright with lots of seating. Couple of tables needed to be cleaned. We were greeted by a very friendly cheerful helpful young lady. The food was served up hot and fresh. The chili hot dogs are a bit messy. While the hot dogs were just so so, the chili was pretty good. They do serve coke products. Seeing some Facebook coupons got me try this place. The coupons say that they must be turned in with the order. I called this location and asked if I could just show the coupon off my phone. I was told I may show them my phone. This is a no thank you for me. I rounded up from a 2.5. One time I ate at Wienerschnitzel when I first moved to Vegas 10 years ago and I didn't like the hotdog itself but I did like the mini corn dogs. Well I haven't been there in 10 years pretty much so I went tonight because I was at the cat café and it was right there and I was hungry. I went through the drive-through and pulled up and the drive-through person told me it would be just a moment. Anyone know how long a damn moment is?? Cars were starting to pull up behind me and I got to the point where I said I was going to count to 30 and I was just going to drive off because I don't need to wait for you. I want to give you my money. When I got to 23 they were ready to take my order so I ordered a hotdog with just mustard and mini corndogs. The same thing I had before I wanted to try the hot dog again but I wanted to have a back up and I KNOW that's a lot of hot dog. I pull up and she takes my money right away, and then the person who's working the window goes and plays on the phone right in front of me . I don't think that's exactly the most professional thing especially when I had to wait why was I waiting? Were you playing on your phone? She took her hand without a glove and stuck it right in the bag where my food was going to be. If you know anything about cell phones, a lot of times they're dirtier than toilet seats so she put her dirtier than a toilet seat cell phone hand in the bag where my food was going to be. I mean, let's be honest I'm getting hotdogs, so I'm not exactly worried about what I put in my body. But if I can avoid any little micro feces, I'm willing to do that. And also while I was not inside the restaurant, the wires and everything behind the POS system was disgusting. It had a healthy layer of dust on it and you can see that from your car. It kind of makes me wonder if they're not cleaning right where the customer can see what does the rest of the place look like ? I have enclosed a photo for your viewing pleasure I mean it looks like there's like a dried up worm or bug on the wall. The hotdog was actually better than the corndogs were this time the hotdog wasn't special I just get it with mustard cause I'm from New York and that's how you're supposed to eat a hotdog. I've been meaning to leave reviews before now. This particular location (rainbow and oakey) is always consistently great, from the customer service to the freshly cooked hot dogs and fries. Yes!....I said cooked to order fries. The fries are started when you order instead of sitting under heat lamp waiting for the next customer. My hopes weren't too high- it's a hot dog chain, they have good prices, and I was in a frankfurter mood. Hit up the drive thru and service was quick but a bit brusque. Received my 2 mustard dogs for $2, and went on my way. As I unwrapped my first dog, it rolled out of the wrapper and splattered mustard all over my work outfit. I wasn't trying to juggle the darn thing, I wasn't multitasking, it was a disaster. Even the second one, which I was more careful with, was a gigantic mess- mustard everywhere. I don't understand what the staff is doing with the wrappers if the mustard is getting all over the place. Also, even for $1, my expectations were a little better- when you specialize in a niche product, it should be better than what I can get for the same price at a gas station. It's not. OMG I have never had this before and boy was I missing out!! The customer service was great, they were so polite to my boyfriend and I and even hooked me up! I ordered the mini corndog kids meal and they let me sub the desert pear drink for the fountain drink and curly fries for the reg fries (cause they hooked me up!) and it was the best corndogs I ever had! So impressed with this fast food! My BF got the junkyard dogs and they were super filling and good, I had a taste of the chili and it was great too! Will defiantly go back... Best thing about this place...the desert pear lemonade drink. I am always looking for non carbonated, water substitutes when I'm out, because water and lemonade get really old when that is all you drink. This was sooo good, so so so so good! I am so impressed! Food ... well, a bratwurst with kraut, fries, Coke and a shake ... how good could it really be? Well, the fries were good. Why yellow mustard, not brown? 2 stars. Now, my problem on this visit ... they must have been out of napkins. However, they made up for it with hand towels (the hard white ones from a bathroom?)
