UPDATE: After hearing about the issue, someone from the practice called and honored the coupon,…read morescheduled an appointment for her to checkup on the crown and put us on a payment plan. It's clear there are good people there, sometimes people just get off on the wrong foot. This is a business that does listen if something goes wrong and they do keep up on their work. I changed my rating but will leave the description of the issue but they fixed it! The FIXED IT! Just making that clear. ** What we needed at the time was an emergency root canal. We had just moved to the area and didn't have a family dentist yet. I called them and scheduled an appointment since I was impressed by their website. It says they have a 4.6 Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey score, although we never received a survey form after we had work completed. If we get one you will see this review on their website. The office was clean, but the WiFi was broken and they didn't know why. The guy at the front was named Charles I think. He seems like someone who is a pretty busy guy. The office environment was very disorganized with people and dental assistants coming and going. When it came time for the appointment we all talked about the costs and she went back into the back. After maybe 20 minutes the guy from the front asked me to come back. They had one of those high-pressure sign-on-the-dotted line kind of clipboards. She was in the chair and already ready to begin the operation or at least within moments. But we were being asked to sign an updated and much higher priced root canal and crown package. I recognized this as a predatory behavior at the time but what could we do? She was in the chair and needed the operation! And we needed a crown anyway and we were wanting to commit to and find a new family dentist That's the normal way. So we signed. And immediately paid the total for the root canal (the thing we came for in the first place.) When we got a bill for the crown a few days later we were surprised. The crown hadn't been done yet, although we intended to get it from them. It was surprising that they billed us immediately for work that had not been completed yet. We did make it clear that we would not be able to schedule the crown immediately due to financial limitations. Moving is very expensive and our budget had already been exceeded. Letting them know this prevents them from having to put out money to order the crown until we can pay for it. A call to schedule the crown operation lets the dentist know to order it from the supplier. This was what I was thinking anyway. When we got the bill it was a surprise because it was for work they hadn't done yet. I think they are looking at this as a business strategy. It was a classic up-sell, but done in a situation of complete moral bankruptcy. They effectively refused to do the work unless we bought their additional package. Ok, not very friendly but as long as they do good work. I was thinking. It was three months and we still didn't have the extra $700 for the crown. We received a call from them that we could come in a get a $100-off crown special for our next appointment. Well, that was a lovely thing to get from your dentist in this situation. So we decided to try and pay for the crown as soon as possible. So we called to schedule it and had the work done. There was an issue with the bite that they're still going to take care of as of this writing. But they refused to give us $100 off! On trying to pay the guy at the front desk said it was for a different tooth! So they called us and offered us $100 off of a crown and then when we scheduled the call they refused to apply the $100 off because we had chosen them to do the root canal. That's right! Because we committed to them as our family dentist they refused to give us $100 off. I'm really surprised and disappointed with them. They don't seem like bad people. I'm not sure why they are treating their customers like this. It is not caring, their name is false advertising.

they performed a crown two years ago and didn't seal the cap. developed an infection. now went to…read moreand emergency root canal and crown costing 10x more than the original crown. each visit had to closely monitor the treatment plan as the tried to sneak in cancer screenings and fluoride treatments. they also went out of network and offered dental care at cash payment retail. warning to anyone who would consider this slip-shod office.
