Here I go again... I want to brag about my latest find…read more I've been loosely on the hunt for a cross stitched alphabet for my daughter's room. There's many kinds of vintage alphabets, many stitched by children as a learning tool in the late 1800s. They're usually more than $150 depending on the quality. This weekend I was back at the willows and what did I find.... The cutest cross stiched alphabet! Not the 19th century antique I was expecting, but a near perfect condition, hand made, alphabet with a cute custom red frame. And the best part? $35! On this trip I also found vintage Apple plates and a hobnail milk glass box. All amazing prices! Some visits are better than others, but The Willows is always worth coming to.

Also, while in the store, I asked if they had coffee by the cup since I needed some caffeine for the long drive back home. The owner offered to brew some fresh coffee while I did some shopping. I dispensed some fresh coffee into a large cup about 10 minutes later after I was finished picking out a M&D toy to purchase on sale at 25% percent off. The coffee was brewed just right and I was golden for my evening drive through NH.
