The standout to us were their donuts. We've had donuts from Florida to Vegas and states in between and theirs are quite possibly the best donuts we've ever had! We always have to try glaze cause having a good base is crucial for good donuts. They were phenomenal! They also had interesting flavors like mint cream and orange cream. We will definitely return here and recommend you check them out!

I may move to Fountain City, just to be closer. Fountain City is run by local Amish. They produce and sell just about everything including furniture, dry goods, cheese and other dairy products. The shop is immense and immaculate. The shelves are filled with colorful candy, locally produced grains and flour, pasta galore, and more. At one end of the store is a bakery selling fresh donuts, pies and fry cakes. At the other end is a deli, making fresh sandwiches to order. The sandwiches are amazing. I had a turkey and ham sandwich on rye. The sandwich was packed with meat, cheese and fresh toppings. This was the best sandwich that I have had in a long time and it was $3.99. There is no place to eat inside, so you must take your food to go. The staff were friendly and efficient. The cheeses are amazing and flavorful. I picked up horseradish and bacon cheeses. The prices are reasonable. You can even buy chicken coups and outbuildings. There was an extensive collection of bird food and custom feeders. There is plenty of mid week parking, but probably crowded on weekends. Bring a cooler. This shop is fabulous.

I thought the place would be packed but oddly it was not. There was a line of cars in the drive thru, but inside it was only one large group ahead of me. I knew almost immediately something was off this visit. I soon realized there was only one young employee working all alone. One person on a Friday night on one of the first 80 degree days makes no sense. Later, he had to come around the front of the case yo find a flavor. He stated he was new and did not have the placement memorized yet. A new employee alone on a Friday night?!?!?! I asked if someone had called in and he said yes, but elaborated the staff is allowed to pick shifts. If true it is not working and will have a bad long term effect on the sales. I gave the lone employee great credit for sticking out the shift and continuing to slug through. However, it does not inspire confidence in returning soon. Next issue was the lack of my flavor. I loved the first two seasons when they had Turkish Coffee. The last couple of years they carried a much less coffee"y" flavor, but at least they had something coffee. Tonight no coffee anything. My second go to is banana pie which had a chocolate where the tag was placed. I waited 15ish minutes for my turn to ask if they had coffee and when I was told no I thanked the dedicated employee and left. I love supporting local businesses, and I am a huge ice cream lover so I hated seeing such a favorite in times past have such an off night. I hope the management steps up if they have call offs to pick up the slack and work or they find a new better scheduling plan. Next Summer they won't be here if this continues all Summer.

Plus, on the rare occasions when I have had a customer service request, Leslie from the customer service team has been incredibly pleasant and extremely helpful. Some people become loyal customers because of price (and hopefully, product quality). I become a loyal customer when the product is outstanding, as theirs always is, and I get outstanding customer service (as I always do). Kudos to owners and managers at Ghyslain. I only buy gift chocolates from them, and always will. -Dave (from Boston)

The only issue that I had was when it came to customer service. Both girls I interacted with treated me rudely. My expectations aren't high for customer service -- I get it, we all have other things going on, but being meant with a smile or a light conversation instead of a death glare would have been nice. I hope the customer service can improve, because the place itself is perfect!!

All I can say is YUM!…read more But actually here's a more full review. This has been the spot to go for as long as I can remember. We would come here as kids after different practices and games. Everyone would enjoy a lovely ice cream treat and maybe even some snacks. They sell everything from candy, to ice cream, to burgers. I definitely recommend the burgers since their patties are homemade and you can customize the toppings however you want. In my opinion they're far better than any other burgers I've ever had. Coming here is a staple for the community. In addition to the food, obviously they sell ice cream. Some of my favorites are the marshmallow milkshake, frozen yogurt, literally any flavor of flavor burst, and of course the coolers that you can get with your favorite topping. I love my coolers either with cookie dough, nerds, or both. Yes, I know that sounds odd but it's great. Saturdays there are outstanding specials and typically a lunch special listed on The board every day through the week. I remember stopping by all the time on Wednesdays to get half-price family night treats, I'm not sure if they still do that but possibly check into it it might still be a thing. They also now I'll take card instead of just cash, offer gift cards, and take online payments if you would like to order before picking up. Definitely go enjoy it!

Yes, they discounted our meal, but only after so many missteps. We are not new to upscale dining. This was absolutely not that. Nice concept, poor execution.
