Not sure about non walkers but I've seen other people bring babies in and it seems fine. They don't do diaper changes so they'll either call or physically find you if there's a bowel movement so I wasn't comfortable swimming but weights, walking or group classes seem fine. You can bring a snack (without peanuts) and drinks to make the transition easier. I guess I've seen some parents bring a meal like pizza. As others have said it's not as premium of an experience as Lifetime or Worldgate but it has a pleasant neighborly feel. Really wish the pool had a bigger leisure area for kids. It's mostly overrun by lap swimmers whenever I've visited.

It's small, but it's a good option on cold days when you'd rather NOT get on a treadmill. This is a pretty big Y! I was here to perform a PT test for some applicants. They allowed us to use their space, which is great. Kenny at the front desk was very helpful in pointing me to where I needed to be. The trainer was also very helpful in assisting us with dedicating one lane of the track to the applicants. I would love to work out here. I didn't do a full tour, but I never met a gym I didn't like! There was plenty of equipment and again, the indoor track is a plus. I saw women in what appeared to be an aerobics class and I must say, that room is huge! There's plenty of space for anybody who wants to join a class. It's also very bright and airy. I see that they also have childcare which is huge! I saw them playing outside. It appears to be a pretty spacious area. Some kids were down on the basketball court going through a workout. Too cute. But yeah, I'm a fan of the Y and this one looks pretty inviting.

The Pound class was fun and done with drumsticks. I definitely felt it the next day! The Jumping class was done on personal trampolines. Even better is that I can see results in the mirror and when I slip on my clothes. I used to work out in a gym on cardio machines but it didn't do a thing for me. These smaller mom classes are so much better. So far I've gone to classes taught by Kathy and Janet, both are excellent. The only thing I don't like about Studio PinkFit is the distance, I have to trek out there from Centreville. It would be nice if they were closer like in Chantilly or if they sublet through a space like Centreville Dance Academy.

They did not use up to date lifting techniques and the equipment was subpar. I decided to leave. Later the owner, Beth, called me up and did not ask why I decided to leave during the class or why I no longer wanted to join but instead she told me they have a drop in rate of $20 per class and she was calling to get a payment by phone. I told her I was never told about a fee. Of course she didn't mention this "fee" before I went into the class, it is not posted on their reception desk, not on the door, and not on their website. I was not at a position where I could stay on the phone and told her I had to go and would search the website again to see if perhaps I had missed the fees notification. She then started getting rude with me. When I got home I searched the website again and their group class schedule and again no mention of any "drop in" fees. This place may do better if they charged a $5 drop in fee just to use the gym or sauna but I wouldn't bother with the classes.

Generally clean, decent array of equipment and amenities, and usually friendly staff. Over time, I did think sometimes equipment took a bit long to repair, and the lack of simple basics like paper towels in the bathroom was something I wished they had. I also just found myself having to wait on equipment way too frequently, even when the gym wasn't that crowded because they only have one version of some machines and they have a much older crowd at this gym that likes to just sit there talking or scrolling their phones and doesn't seem very serious about working out. Having to navigate the One Loudoun traffic and parking garages also felt like a chore sometimes. At the end of the day, if this gym were a little cheaper I might have considered renewing after my initial term. But it's 1:1 the same cost as the brand new OneLife in Ashburn that has way more equipment + dozens of locations, open space, aquatics, recovery room with compression, red light, and hydromassage, towels included, and more, with a convenient parking lot only one exit farther down Route 7 to boot. I've actually seen 20+ regulars I knew from TFE now working out at OneLife so I think most of the serious gymrats have picked up on the fact they can get more for their money and jumped ship. Farewell, TFE. You were a good gym, I'll always cherish our times together.

I truly hope the members are not paying the same price as we do in Clinton. It feels like it was an old gym that OneLife came and bought. I went midday and it was not crowded. I pay way too much monthly to come into a one life gym that still has this style of equipment. Maybe because my home gym is for totten but this is ridiculous. This equipment is all older than this gym itself. The gym smells like a sewage drain. I legitimately had to work out with a shirt over my nose and ended my workout early because I couldn't stand it anymore. The layout of the gym is always chaotic as hell. Yes there's a lot of machines, they are all old maybe 10% of what's in here is "new". Studio has no fans, neither does group studio. That makes no sense to me. First time at this location, I unfortunately moved to this area, but I won't be coming back, I'd rather make the 25 minute drive to the Manassas location where is actually clean, and new equipment Editing to add that there is in fact not a single fan in this gym, even the treadmills, don't have a built in fan. My daughter has been taking camps and lessons at Pure Performance for over a year with fantastic…read moreresults. We have tried many different facilities and coaches over the years for my older son and for her and I am truly impressed by the level of attention my daughter is given during well thought and organized camps. Her private instruction is not "cookie cutter" but tailored to meet her needs and enhance her strengths as well as develop new approaches, drills and thought process to her weaknesses. The facilities are spacious with multiple areas for instruction and drill. Even enough room to run infield drills in bad weather with a team! There are multiple instructors for various skills for pitching, hitting, catching and fielding. Instruction does not only focus on the physical aspects of the game (softball in this case) but also mental and preparation. Discussion about nutrition, workouts beyond coaching, and habits also is included as part of helping my athlete be ready to compete. Pure Performance meets the athlete where they are and prescribes a program to help them achieve their goals. I am very impressed with the comprehensive program provided by Pure Performance and it's coaches.

She was struggling with hitting and I knew enough that as a travel player, she passed my ability to help her. She was nervous going in for her first lesson with Coach Ryan - more so when he said I had to stay in the waiting room. After the lesson, Coach Ryan gave me a tour of the facility and sent us home with several drills. On the ride home, I asked my daughter what she thought - she was sold and couldn't wait to go back. She noticed a difference between the start and finish of her lesson based on Coach Ryan's corrections. And although Coach Ryan intimidates her - she never wants to disappoint him - she's excited for every lesson, with no sign of stopping. Last Fall, she moved up to 12U travel as a 10 yr old. The change in ball size was a struggle batting and as a catcher. So, we upped our visits with Coach Ryan but she also started lessons with Coach Morgan. An amazing catching coach, that has helped her with the transition and to excel behind the plate. My daughter lights up whenever she sees Coach Morgan; and although she is drenched in sweat after every lesson, she never wants them to end. In addition to the private lessons, Pure Performance's clinics and camps are great for players of any skill or age. Last summer, I sent both my daughters (the younger plays rec ball) to the summer camp. They do some things as a group but others are based on skill/team age. They had a great time and were never short of stories about the drills, conditioning, games, competitions of the day. They were exhausted but excited for the next day. They enjoyed it so much that they asked to attend again this summer and are bringing friends. We are always on the lookout for new camps and clinics. Overall, I cannot say enough about Pure Performance; the facility, coaches, instructors, camps, clinics, cage/lane rentals. Thank you
