I brought 2 bracelets in for repair. One was an anklet. They charged over $300 for the 2. The anklet was cut down so much I could no longer wear it. I went in to see about a chain extension. I was told by the sales person "I could order you one but this anklet is going to keep breaking because it's so worn. The other was a bracket that needed a clasp. I was able to wear it for about a week and it broke just behind the clasp. Had they told me both were not worth repairing I would have bought new ones. But since all they wanted to do was take my money I will not be going back to this business and would strongly recommend any one needing jewelry repair to go elsewhere. read more

My husband wanted an 18" gold chain for me. They sold him a 20" chain and told him it could be shortened later. When I inquired about shortening it I was told unless it was covered under the protection plan there would be a charge but because it was an estate piece there was no protection plan for it. Does that make sense? Then I was told it would cost $62 dollars to shorten it. They should have told him that right up front. As a courtesy they should have shortened it at the time of purchase at no charge or a very minimal cost. This is not the way to do business so they will not get any more of mine or my family or friends. read more

I was afraid to wear my very expensive diamond solitaire as the prongs seemed worn and although it wasn't wobbly I was afraid to lose the stone. I researched and ended up here. Very patient Paul spent a long time explaining the repair and answering questions. He walked me over to the for sale rings and showed what it would look like once repaired. I left the ring. It was ready prior to the estimate and came out beautiful. Also sized it up a bit and that cannot be detected. It was polished like new. I couldn't be happier and the price was extremely reasonable. About two weeks after the repair I got a call from someone at the store inquiring my level of satisfaction. That's a new one!! read more

So, it has been about a half of a year since this situation, but my now wife encouraged me to write a review (As I have never done one before). I was looking at rings the previous week and returned to purchase a set I was interested in, that a very nice sales consultant gave me a good deal on, coming to find out someone had bought it. I was alright with that and continued to look at other sets, when a different lady came over to assist. She made it very clear numerous times that she was "the owner" and when asking the first time if it were possible to get a better deal on a set, she quickly said, "If you think we are this type of store, you can walk right down to either Walmart or Kohls." I was shocked at first and kept my composure and questioned myself, in my head, if I were in the wrong. I went back to a previous set that the sales consultant gave me a deal on the previous week and asked the owner nicely if this price was concrete as well, knowing I was given a cheaper price the previous week. She again mentioned the Walmart and Kohls statement and then she quickly came to realize that a lower price was indeed agreed upon the previous week with the sales consultant. I sensed she was very frustrated for some reason, so I decided to tip-toe away, only to take my business elsewhere. Since this is my first review, I want to make it a point that I am sure that they do very good business there, but wanted to warn people that if "an owner" has ruffled feathers that day she is doing business with you, just understand that she is probably having another bad day, smile, and walk away. read more
