    Pigeon wings
    Lauri H.

Stick to sushi!! Take the wings off your menu until you have celery, can offer Blue cheese and your wings grow to a normal size. They all were smaller than my thumb!! Almost laughable. Staff was awesome however. I will be back because of the staff and ambiance but NOT for the wings !

    Edamame and miso horrible

This may be enticing especially the location is so ideal and in between two terminal areas in Chicago airport, but by all means SKIP this! It wasn't even mediocre, it was terrible! I ordered edamame, which came out cold, oversalted and so bland, followed by the miso soup, it was literally plain miso with 4 pieces of tiny cubed tofu, the size of a nail with scallion slices. I also ordered the Rainbow roll, which I could not even finish because it had this weird red sauce underneath that made the sushi taste so funky. And to top it off, the service was horrible! I asked three times who can take my order, and each of the wait staff pointed at each other. Then at least 5 minutes pass, I ask again, then someone else said order online. Which one is it? I literally saw the wait staff taking the order of the person next to me, so this was clearly inaccurate. Overall, do not let the location and sushi entice you to eat here, keep walking to your terminal! You will find better places!

Mediocre food but I just needed something other than McDonald's or pizza But the miso soup is very, very, not worth it :( The poke bowl is okay for its price but not enough to fill you on its own.

This place is filthy and the food is awful

Hair on my flat bread and fly in the beer!!! Gross! Just disgusting place to eat at the airport

It's not bad for airport food. It's a bit expensive and by no means close to being the best sushi I have had. Similar to what you would get a at a quick, casual sushi place. It wasn't awful though, and satisfied my cravings. I was decently full after a full roll, soup and four pieces of nigiri. My bill came to $60 USD after tip and tax.

Good location between terminals C and E/F Fast service. Always a stop for me when traveling through ORD. Booths and bar service are available. Space for groups up to 4 with low or high tops as well as booths.

I love sushi and I love this spot between terminals where 30 years ago lived an awesome oyster bar. What could possibly go wrong? The safest thing to order at a fast-food sushi place is a heavily spiced roll. So I ordered the most expensive fresh nigiri. Actually it was ok, not great. But I'll tell you-- for $24 the fresh tuna is not supposed to be brown around the edges. Tasted ok but I'll update later if the runs start an hour from now at 35,000 feet. Overall not bad but don't go out of your way. And stick to the rolls.

The WORST service graces and has no idea what she is doing. Food meh.

The absolute worst. Sushi was decent. Nothing special but nothing bad. The manage meant was a lazy, dull, lifeless dude doing inventory with no care in the world about helping the server. Now that brings me to the server... What a gem. Not! They close at 7pm. It was 6:04 when I walked up. She took 10 mins or more to even acknowledge and that was to tell me she would be back. No hello. Comes back after we start looking frustrated and says: we are about to close. Leaves to get us a drink. Comes back 10 more minutes. Meanwhile rudely telling everyone that walks up that they are "about to" close. An hour from closing is not ABOUT TO CLOSE. She proceeds to tell us, when we had to flag down the busser for chopsticks/napkin/water... that "all of you people that show up at closing time get the worst service!" Haha. And laughs. Then we watch her mess up orders, ignore people, and continue to discourage people from sitting down because now at 25 after, they are really "ABOUT TO" close. What a waste of time. If you see this server you may want to keep walking. She is truly infuriating and tactless. Definitely new to service business. :(

Usually at an airport, I default to fast food restaurants as all of the other restaurants are overpriced and or not good. This place is no exception. We got one sushi and an udon. The sushi was the Spanish Dynamite which costed a whopping $17. The sushi was good, but wasn't great. The udon was the most reasonably priced item on the menu. After ordering, the server came back 10 minutes later to tell us that they weren't making it anymore. After the sushi came out, they magically came out with the udon. It was cool that they split the udon into two separate bowls for us to share. The server was pretty decent. She was able to answer any questions I had. She was able to get us the udon we ordered and went out of her way to have it split for us which is a plus in my book. The hostess is ehh. We were ignored for the most part and ended up seating someone else behind us first. Probably should have just left then. I do not recommend this place for food as it is definitely overpriced airport food. There are plenty of other better options around the airport at a more reasonable price.

Not bad airport Sashimi, but roll was a bit sad. Good sake options though pricy. Service was pretty unfriendly.

It was over priced and although the sign outside said full menu, the menu only had sushi rolls and appetizers for the most part. The waiting time was also very long which was a problem with customers as they are connecting to other flights

For a sushi place smack in the middle of the terminal area, it wasn't too bad. Can be crowded at times with people coming in and out and navigating their luggage. I sat at the counter right in front of my gate, which was nice. Got a couple of rolls for $9 per roll. A little steep, but they have a captive audience. Service a bit slow, but to be expected.

For an airport spot it's not bad. It's more upscale than most in the Chicago airport, which is really nice to have as an option. I was able to have a glass of Prosecco with my meal, which was great. The service was pretty good and the staff was nice. Getting down to the food, the food was okay. The miso soup needed like flavor, it was just really plain and boring. However, it came out really hot and I could really appreciate that because it was really crowded and it could've easily not have. Moving on to the oysters they didn't feel that fresh and just weren't that great. I love oysters but you could taste that these just weren't great quality. Overall, it's great place to grab a drink before your flight.

The portions were large and honestly, easy to share. The fried calamari and shrimp and the shrimp scampi was SO GOOD. The cook was amazing, the shrimp were huge and had so much flavor. Something I was surprised by was the catfish. Holy crap. So much flavor and loved that it came with rice and potatoes. Get it. Just get it. The employees were efficient and helpful. If I'm in Chicago, I'll have to go back. Im dreaming of the fried calamari and shrimp combo and that catfish.

They added an enclosed outdoor seating area, Thats lets you enjoy the breeze or sun, but protects you from the rain. It used to be a tent, so this is definitely nicer. My wife and I were seated immediately. The server quickly brought us water and garlic bread. I really like that they give you 5 fairly big pieces of garlic bread for only two people. Nice touch. We were not in a hurry and couldn't decide what we wanted so we started with the calamari salad. $29, but it's huge and chock full of those calamari guys. Lettuce is always crisp and has everything I like in it (olives, eggs, carrots, artichoke, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and romaine lettuce). We were almost full just from the salad alone. I ordered a grouper sandwich (not fried), and my lovely wife ordered the Scottish salmon plate, which comes with potatoes and grilled vegetables. My sandwich came with coleslaw and fresh cut fries. They switched to fresh cut since my last visit, and this was an upgrade. My sandwich was great, and huge too. Could not finish it. Wife's meal was a humongous slab of salmon. The veggies now come on a smaller plate, but that's okay, given the size of the fish. Service was a tad slow, but like I said, we weren't in any hurry. Total tab was $100, with tax and that pesky 3% service fee. I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. It's not a place I can go every week, but when I can splurge, and have a taste for fresh seafood, this is the best around.

The prices are pretty reasonable and the minimum order for delivery is manageable. I was quite impressed with the young lady who answered my call when I inquired about setting up a wholesale account with them. She sent the price list, customer forms and promptly forwarded our information to a salesperson. Been a customer for a few months and gone to Fortune Fish' Seafood Show at Navy Pier. The Show was impressive and showed the range of products available. I was very excited about the possibility of including a lot of products on our next menu. Turns out this was the high point of our experience with Fortune Fish. It's been downhill ever since. It started off well ... We needed to get some product in about a week for an event, no time to lose. So instead of Fortune's salesperson coming over to drop off some samples, they sent the local representative from the product manufacturer instead. She called ahead asking us what we'd like to sample, came over and cooked it all off in our kitchen. The product was well received so we placed an order. A couple of weeks later, the salesperson from Fortune finally gets to our kitchen to give us an overview of the product line and to bring us samples of fresh and frozen fish. The super fresh salmon filet he brought was an especially welcome staff lunch that day. The rest of the products were good too so we made plans to use them in a new menu. Over the course of the next few weeks, we placed several orders and the deliveries have been generally hit or miss. Lately, it's been more misses than hits. Especially frustrating are the mispicks -- we order something and they send us the wrong stuff. Then when it's returned it takes FOREVER to get a credit. When we have a busy operation to run, we expect our vendors to be on the ball and to not create more work for us. A simple apology and follow up goes a long way and so far we haven't gotten either from Fortune.
