I've eaten here a few times and ordered takeout a few times as well. The food is always delicious! My fave is the Wicked Wings though I wish you could get them in a smaller order. However I have been more than willing to spend the extra money and share since they're just that good! My younger kids usually get the chicken tender n curly fry meal and my older girls order maple bbq and or teriyaki wings. The last time we were there my husband ordered a burger and again, it was great! The service has always been good, even when they were busy and personally I love the look n feel of the place. The outdoor seating is nice and the inside is warm and inviting. read more

The service was slow, and the wings were just bad. Took over an hour to get a few orders of wings and the chicken sandwich took longer than the wings. Not sure if they were handpicking which chicken in the back was ready to be butchered in the kitchen. However, I was quite impressed with how their wings could taste so spicy and be flavorless at the same time. I definitely had never been to a wing place that had a dry rub that was saucy. If you were expecting to get a dry Jamaican Jerk and Garlic Parmesan, this is not the place. There is only saucy wings at Wicked Wings. I won't be back, but at least I can say that I tried it during my trip in Vermont. read more

I keep trying to give this place a chance because I like the food and they have some good specials throughout the week but this is now the second time in a row I have had a bad experience with the employees/owner there. 1st time-Bartender(male) was talking about drugs and someone that he did a "well visit" on that had been murdered and what it looked like inside the home and was describing the dead body to another employee behind the bar in front of customers. 2nd time-Owner called my son and nephews "punk ass kids" because his coin machine was messed up and the alarm kept going off and he thought they were messing with it. My son didn't get to put his quarter in it so my dad walked over with him to put his 1 quarter in it and the man walked over and unplugged it. My dad and I were both upset with how he handled it and decided to leave and the man started arguing with my dad and calling the boys names. I'm not sure what has happened over the years but since they moved to Winooski this establishment has gone way down hill! Absolutely do not go there or give them your business through online ordering. read more

One of my favorite pastimes is ordering food through DoorDash so they can show up 2 hours late OR blow it off all together (like the last 25 Tinder dates I've tried to go on). Despite DoorDash being the absolute worst business of all time, my laziness prevailed and the internet won. Every time I actually receive food from Wicked Wings it exceeds expectations! The boneless wings are always tender, white meat with a crispy outside and the sauces/rubs are as advertised. Splurged on the Broccoli Cheddar Bites (because eating your emotions is a real thing, folks). Crispy and oozing with synthetic cheese flavor. The smiley face on my to-go bag added to the one on my face *wholesome*! Support this local business! read more

What kind of wing place doesn't allow you to split flavors? 18 wings and only one flavor because of rising paper costs. They're the only place in town saying it, so must be bad management or cheap ownership. Go somewhere else. read more

Make sure you read you receipt before you leave when getting take out. I was charged a delivery fee to pick up my order. I questioned staff and they could not do anything about it because the owner Colin was not in but would call me to reverse the charge. He never called. I called again but he wasn't in but would call me. He never did. Very deceptive practices here. And the food isn't even that good. Go elsewhwre read more

We have been wanting to try Wicked Wings since we moved back to the area (we've been gone 8 long years!). And we are so glad we did! Considering the current state of the country, they did an AWESOME job. I called around 4:30, and reserved a pickup time of 6:45. There were quite a few people in line for pickup (so glad to see!) but they were incredibly efficient! A runner came right out and checked in with us. Our food was hot, packed well and delicious once we got home! We got 3 orders of wings (maple bbq, Cajun ranch, mild BBQ) and an order of fried pickles. Everything was hot and traveled very well! All was delicious and exceeded our expectations. I also got a wicked cosmo and it was amazinggggg. You guys are doing great! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to keeping our community happy, full and tipsy!! read more

In the mood for big tasty wings? Go here. I was tempted to go for wicked hot but decided to just go hit. The level of hot offers a pleasing flavor but does not burn on the way down. My dinning companion had a good BBQ pork grilled cheese which got a big thumbs up. There were plenty of TVs for viewing but we choose a booth. We will be back! read more

I ordered 24 wings ahead of time because I only have a 30 minute lunch break. I paid $42 for the wings and left a $6 tip. Then I asked if we could sit down. The waiter/bartender said okay. So we sit down and someone comes out and says that we can not eat there that we used up 2 to-go containers. I offered $5 for the to-go stuff. He then disrespects us and says "this is not a campground." I have never had such poor service. Wings were good as we sat in the truck and ate them. Very disappointed read more

Amazing food but shitty service. The 1st time we ordered from them our food took over an hour past when they said it'd be ready. I have to say that when we did finally get our food it was tasty. Tonight, unfortunately we decided to try them for a second time. We called in our order & they were honest that it'd be over an hour wait & told us to pick it up at 7:30. When my husband arrived to pick it up they told him it would be 15 extra minutes- no big deal. 20 minutes later they come out & tell him that they never received his order. He showed the girl the call log on his phone & was honestly baffled. The girl just shrugged & made no attempt to remedy the situation and sent him on his way with no food. read more

LOVE the food! We had a problem and the owner took care of us personally! The wicked wings are a treat in our family!

I have spent thousands because they have good food for what they sell. The other night i spent 128.00 and pulled a 20 out of my wallet to give to guy getting my order ready. After he looked a receipt he went to two patrons sitting at bar and said can you believe this guy bought over 128.00 in food and didn't tip me. When i went to explain i tip after i get my food showing him the 20 he said you are all set and don't come back. NEVER AGAIN! By the way we didn't even get what we asked for and it was soggy at best. read more

Myself & 6 of my friends went into Wicked Wings tonight for dinner & the food and service was top notch!

Ordered take out. Said it would be 60 minutes. I showed up on time to pick up & nobody addressed me. I had to go find someone and ask about my food. They said it would be another 10 minutes. I waited an extra 20. All we ordered was 20 wings, onion rings & mac cheese bites. Those are all frozen quick items to make. Insane that it took as long as it did. Insanely dissapointing. 4 bartenders, at least 5 in the kitchen that I could see. I was watching them pour stuff out of bags into the fryers. read more

Great food and typically great service! Tonight however after waiting about 35 minutes for my order (takeout was already at an hour wait so a total of an hour and half waiting for food) I arrived home with our dinner only to find that we were missing our wings and missing the cheese for our cheese fries. Luckily the person who wanted both of these items was okay with it! I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt in hopes that it's just because they're getting used to a new location but kind of annoyed that I was missing 2 items. read more

TL; DR: Wicked Wings will take your money, but won't deliver your sauce. Wicked Wings has repeatedly and consistently failed to include sauces that I've added to orders from them. Sauces cost anywhere from $1.50 to $1.00. Most of the time they fail to send at least one of the sauces. I've called Wicked Wings several times to report missing sauce - their response has been to deflect and ultimately ignore questions about mistakes on sauces, which means they are comfortable charging people for extra sauce without delivering it. I have expressed anger about the streak of mistakes, but have never verbally attacked anyone who has taken my call - in fact I have expressed that I enjoy Wicked Wings's food better than any other wings in the region, and I have repeatedly begged them to correct the mistake. On my second to last order, I was directed to report the loss to Doordash. I was successful in getting a refund there. On my last order, having lost sauce on the previous three orders, I called Wicked Wings to ask them if they had the sauce order correct shortly after my partner called in an order. I spoke courteously, but stated that I was concerned that my sauces would not be delivered correctly. The employee told me that 'things are busy, and I don't have time for this', then hung up on me. Please do not order from Wicked Wings - they do not seem able to correct this problem, regardless of how their product or the experience of their food suffers, and they have decided to simply ignore the problem rather than solve it. read more

Not only are these the worst wings I've ever had, but this place does not follow Covid guidelines

Watch out Buffalo Wild Wings because there are some "wicked wings" in town. WICKED WINGS on upper Main Street in Winooski with owner/chef Collin Sourdiff and his great staff dish out the best wings we have had in a very long time. Tremendous disappointment. We always try to buy local but the Sunday afternoon staff wasn't even close to trying. Food came over cooked, slathered with a layer of sauce on top (just lazy frankly), and soaked through the to go containers. Best part of the meal was the curly fries, but let's be honest there's no way they were made to order. Poor taste, poor presentation and a completely lack of care from the staff who prepared it. Two stars because it was still edible.... barely read more

Ordered garlic parmesan wings for take out. Worst wings I have ever had. They tasted like they were left over from the day before and heated up in the microwave. I didn't know chicken could be that dry. Waste of $30. After 1 bite it ended up in the trash. Never again. read more

This is one of my favorite places of all time now. Check it out and if you like hot wings the hot sauces are delicious and legitimately hot. Many levels of heat but not like other places where you order hot and they're not even spicy at all. I can handle hot here but "wicked hot" and "melt your face" are out of my league. So many great things on the menu! read more

Wings were small for the price. Taste was okay. I enjoyed the BBQ and hot sauces. The location was dark and boring, huge tvs were the only lighting in the entire restaurant. 2 dozen wings took around 45 mins to took with a few tables - understandable with one cook. I won't be back anytime soon. Not worth the money. read more

Best wings in Vermont! And a wonderful family running the place. I highly recommend Wicked Wings. Yummy!

Food was average. Wings were fine. Vibe Of the place and price was what killed it. Menu prices were really hard to read. $13+ for regular items like burgers and salads. Bartender was eating dinner behind the bar while people sat there. Weird. Bottom line: It's a bar and grill in Essex, VT with downtown Burlington, VT higher end restaurant prices. You're better off going to RJs downtown. read more

The place was a little tricky to find at first -- we arrived to a small dining room & bar. The place was basically empty except for some to go orders waiting to be picked up at the bar. Our waitress was incredibly kind and joyful. She explained the different flavored wings and made solid recommendations. And the wings were all really good. Prices were a little high but not beyond reasonable in comparison to other places. Probably not a place I'll take my kids but I'll go again with a friend. read more

I asked for medium wings and they came breaded and without bones...I expect bones in wings. It was basically spicy chicken tenders! The falafel was burnt to the point of blackness and the onion rings were incredibly soggy. The guacamole was incredibly sour and flavorless. I would not recommend. The only good part was the blue cheese and chips THAT was good. read more

This place is kind of hard to find because it's tucked within a shopping center off a side road. Very small inside seating area but the wings were very good! We decided to get 5 dozen for 59$. A dozen is 14$ and we had a big group so it was a better deal. Hot and wicked hot will creep on you later so watch out. The service was ok. The waiter seemed to have an attitude when we would ask for anything but refilled our drinks on time read more

Absolutely awful customer service . I was ordering a very big order with multiple items and the lady was clearly irritated that I was having multiple things . For example can I have a dozen wings with 6 of them being this flavor and 6 of them being this flavor . Her reply " so you wants 6 or 12 Bec you keep saying the same thing" with a very irratable voice . Cutting me off and huffing and puffing . Wings are some times decent , half the time drowning in grease in a card board box that gets soggy throughout its time like a paper straw . I've had very good experiences but this lady that answered tonight ! Awful . Wish I could leave a review without a star . Just look at the other reviews on customer service . Disappointed. After moving into Essex we have been contemplating trying this place. Tonight on the way home we decided to order wings. We ordered a dozen wings with two flavors, which was charged as two half dozen - first time a wing place has ever charged us like that to split flavors. Absurd. We got hot and smokey garlic. Unfortunately I wouldn't consider getting either again. The garlic is really just butter with no garlic flavor at all. We actually tossed them out. The hot had little flavor and lots of heat. Ok for me but not for the wife. I'm still in search of great wings in Vermont. I can assure you, this place is not worth your time or money. Sad. read more

After deciding what to order, and seeing their outrageous prices, my husband and I placed our order of wings, onions rings, and falafel pieces. After 35-40 minutes of waiting (without getting checked on by the server or anyone), we decided to quietly leave the establishment. The gentleman who took our order came outside with our food and tried to convince us to stay, but we had enough. Then he cried out from across the street "don't come back!" Don't worry, we won't. I understand they are short staffed, but that's no excuse for the rudeness. read more

First time going to new location. Nice place but expensive and slow. I get it with supply issues and labor shortages nothing is the norm. $10 for plain chips was a little steep. Chicken wings read fresh on the menu but I'm pretty sure they were freshly thawed is what they meant. Maybe I'll go back for some drinks at the bar. read more

The food was really, truly bad. It was a small bar. We grabbed it to go for convenience and it was just not good. The "wings" were essentially chicken tenders drenched in sauce. The onion rings were soggy. It was just blah. The guy working was super friendly and nice so I feel bad leaving a poor review but it was really quite bad. read more
