This is a dive bar, yet still inviting. Lots of seating, outside area too; but we chose inside (since it was 94 degrees). Both servers we attentive and very friendly! 10 out of 10!!! This is our first pick of restaurants that are lake front when we come down to the ozarks! I ordered the fish tacos. Our favorite are the original trashed wings. They are spicy, but with ranch the flavor and crispyness hits the spot. My favorite thing is the ribbies and wings. For $17 you get 4 ribs and 5 wings. It was the perfect amount of food for me and a steal for ribs and wings. I tried the chipotle BBQ and I also loved this flavor. Still spicy, but not as firey as the original. We also ordered some onion rings for an appetizer. They are thick! I am more of a fan of thinner onion rings, but these were still good and I loved the sauce. It was decently busy when we went, but our service was just okay. Our server took a little bit to take our order and bring us the check which we understood since it was busy, but there were larger parties that got sat after us, that were in and out before we were. Overall, we really enjoyed our food and it's a great place to stop for some BBQ.

I decided to get a smoked salmon wrap with a side salad and bacon wrapped prawns. For $17.99 I do have to say those five little prawns weren't worth it. It's crazy how overpriced those are to be honest. The smoked salmon wrap was really good, but felt like it was missing something. I believe I read they smoked the salmon in house... which is awesome! But it was definitely lacking some pizzazz. One of these days I'll have to go back and try some of the barbecued foods... or the smoked turkey, which also sounds really good. I sat at the bar and service was super fast and friendly. Inside was western themed, and the place had a lot of people in it, was loud and busy, so I know it's worth giving it another try.

The upper level has a more upscale feel, with a beautiful dining room and an incredible covered outdoor space complete with a stage for live music. The massive windows and stunning views overlooking the peninsula make it the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the evening. As for the food... wow. I had the crab legs, which were cooked perfectly, but can we talk about the green beans for a minute? They were ridiculously good. If licking the bowl in public wasn't frowned upon, I might have considered it. Colin ordered the salmon, which was absolutely beautiful and served with rice pilaf. Chris went with the crab-crusted walleye, and it was cooked to perfection. Emma Grace chose the giant pretzel, and giant is an understatement, it was the size of a dinner plate! It came with an assortment of charcuterie-style accompaniments that were fantastic all on their own. Then came dessert, and somehow things got even better. The bread pudding was hands-down one of the best I've ever had. I don't eat bread pudding often, but this one may have ruined all future bread puddings for me. We also shared the cheesecake and cookie skillet, and every bite was delicious. To top it all off, our waitress Makayla was absolutely wonderful and made the entire experience even better. Great food, beautiful views, amazing service, and a fantastic atmosphere. Encore knocked it out of the park. We'll definitely be making a return trip next summer!

The decor, views and staff was next to perfection- absolutely no complaints. We started with Diet Coke and Baxter's sunset drink, a beautiful looking drink - fun mix of mango margarita along with raspberry daiquiri. The drink was very tasty and refreshing. For our mains, we got the French dip (the best French dip in MO as per me, filled with juicy shaved prime rib, and Swiss cheese with super tasty Au Jus sauce on the side. I got it with perfectly seasoned delicious roasted potatos! This sandwich took me straight to heaven - emmmm. The rest of my family members got the blackened Mahi Mahi which was topped with house made mango salsa along with some rice and veggies. It was a slightly sweet and tasty savory dish. They also got the Cedar plank Salmon Grilled perfectly along with red wine Dijon sauce and some veggies on the side. Both were cooked well and very different refreshing flavors. We also got some sweet potato fries to go along with the fishes. To end the tasty lunch, we saved some room for some dessert! We got the Rich brownie, served with vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce. On one side, we were trying to keep the sugar intake low by sharing but on the other, It was a fight to eat the most bites of the ice cream haha lol. Overall, from the drinks to the entrées, to the sides, and the desert was perfect without any disappointments.
