Went there for dinner with another couple...looking for a casual environment with some billiards or something. There website didn't show much, but we gave it a go. We'll, there wasn't any billiards, just a ton of TV's. The place was very clean and modern. It had cool decor. The food was average, I wasn't too impressed to be honest. We just left and had to go get ice cream for dinner. The onion rings, which had good reviews, are not homemade. The burger was hammered. They forgot the cheese for my burger, we asked for ketchup and the server forgot us, so we had to chase down our own. A $51 dollar meal and my burger was inedible. The AC didn't seem to be keeping up so it was a little on the warm side, otherwise the establishment was clean with the typical sports-bar feel. The western burger was so good. Ate at Wicked Willie's on our recent vacation at the lake. Place was packed and atmosphere was great. Large bar with plenty of seating around. Lots of TV's and sports memorabilia around to check out. Waitress showed us the Specials for a Wednesday night. Wife ordered the 6oz. Sirloin Steak and Baked Potato for $12. What a surprise when it showed up. Steak was so tender and grilled just right. Baked potato took up 1/2 her plate. Butter and sour cream was all she wanted as waitress offered it loaded as well. I had a classic grilled hamburger added American cheese and it came with a tomato and onion and lettuce all on the side. Had fries as my side that were good as well. Burger had a great outside crust and grilled just right for my taste. Food came out fast for as busy as they were. Drinks were kept full with refills. Great place and a locals vibe. a group of us gals were in town for an event and looking for a place to eat. we found wicked willies on yelp and the menu looked like they had a variety. the restaurant is nice, very open with a bar at the center and TONS of big screen tv's ALL the way around. great place to watch sports. there was even a comfy sitting area in front of an xlage big screen. everyone enjoyed their food; only slight negative comment was that the turkey chili was not as expected. but we are texans and were expecting red chili and this was green. it wasnt bad, just different. i had pork tenderloin - very tender & i liked the seasoning in the breading. i did not care for the spread that came with it, strong dijon flavor - but thats a personal preference. i opted to forgo the bun. a friend had the tomato basil soup - it was thick and tasty and came with a mini grilled cheese. a friends shrimp and grits quickly disappeared. service was friendly and efficient. i'd enjoy spending a sunday afternoon watching football and munching on apps there. read more

First off, my wife and I went to try this place for dinner tonight, 8-1-2024. The AC was either broken or they didn't want their customers to be comfortable. It was very warm in there. What a disappointing experience. My wife had the Wicked Burger that was very poorly put together with caramelized onions and some kind of nasty sauce with a reallysmashed bun, for the side she had steak fries that turned out to be crinkle cut fries that where all stuck together and over cooked. I myself had the smoked Turkey pepper jack melt sandwich. Now I thought that a melt sandwich was like a grilled cheese sandwich with meat and cheese grilled up. Not just a melted slice of cheese on the meat. At least the ones that I have had at other restaurants were done like grilled cheese. It wasn't even that hot. I also had the so-called nasty steak fries that were crinkle cut fries that were overcooked and stuck together and had to be eaten with a fork. When my wife asked the waiter about the steak fries, he said that, ohh, they just recently changed them. The management should inform the wait staff that if someone orders steak fries, they need to inform them of what they actually are, crinkle cut fries! This is definitely a very bad experience. As is a lot of other restaurants in Osage Beach, MO, and The Lake of the Ozarks area. This area is a good restaurant desert. There is only a handful of restaurants in the area that are worth patronizing. Since my wife and I are residents of Osage Beach, we would like to dine out a couple of times a week, but it is very difficult to find anywhere decent to eat. I've been to the lake so many times but never knew this was here until the most latest trip. It's not on the main area but worth the find. Ambiance is a sports bar, and you'll find tvs everywhere. If you're into simulator golf, they have 3-4 bays in a separate area. Service was good. It was semi busy for a Sunday night. The food was fine, and steaks were ordered by all and enjoyed. My problem was the drinks. The water was immediately spit out as it tasted like chlorine. Now I know the lake is dirty, but it wasn't that taste. This was pure chlorine. The rosemary potatoes were WAY TOO SALTY, I could not eat them! When the waitress came by, and asked how everything way, I told her my potatoes were WAY TOO SALTY, and she just stood there, and did not say a thing. I said, "can I get something else instead?"She said it will be an UNCHARGE! I've NEVER been to a restaurant where they didn't want to please or take care of the customer, by bringing them something else, and at least saying they were sorry, I wasn't happy with the potatoes. Tentatively giving this 3 stars. Wicked Willies is only about a month old and it has a lot of potential. They have remodeled the old City Grille and turned into a modern sports bar. They have 2 ginormous tvs and lots more smaller ones, a big centrally located bar with interesting sounding speciality cocktails. The staff is friendly and our waitress, although not very knowledgeable about the menu, did a good job with service. However, the food.... First, the menu is huge. Way too many things on it. There are the signature appetizers and the regular appetizers, entrees, pastas, seafood, sandwiches, salads, chili, burgers... On and on. Everything claims to be homemade, which is great but then you have to make it taste good, look good and be reasonably priced. This food was none of that. It didn't taste bad or look bad but it just wasn't what the fantastic descriptions on the menu made it out to be. There are weird things in every dish like bacon, onion jam (???), chipotle aioli and things like that. They are trying to be gourmet and hip but you're just a sports bar. The prices were on the high side as well. $9.95 for 8 chicken wings.... I recommend they cut the menu in half. Focus on the burgers, which is the one item we really did like, and get rid of all the fancy additions that no one understands or likes. This is the Lake of the Ozarks, not New York. I will try it again but if the food doesn't get better, they won't last long. read more
