Wish there were clear markers or boards showing the product names (arts and crafts etc) like they have in other shops like Costco . There were also very less persons around to help. They've got it. They also have a health dose of western cowboy themed and Jesus loving decor (nothing wrong with either it's just noticeably more then you've probably ever seen in any store in NJ so it really sticks out). The shot of testosterone comes from the jock, greaser, and geek decor. Maybe its to get men in the door (a demographic I feel is mostly ignored in these type of stores) but Lobby has a bunch of pictures, tin signs and other things featuring superheroes, sporting teams and automotive brands. They have lots of cool things to hang in your man cave. From retro looking Texaco signs, paintings of the Batman, and framed pics of Ali (to name a few). We came in looking for a corkboard and chalkboard and they delivered. They had a bunch of options and some had frames or were part of more elaborate hanging items. We ended up getting a preframed corkboard with a unframed chalkboard (that we bought a frame for [from Hobby Lobby]). I wasn't expecting much (thinking it would be just a Michael's clone) but I left impressed and actually liked the store a lot. He was professional, friendly, and informative throughout the entire process. We explained that we were moving soon and needed some help finding a nice bed that included a power base (because after having one, it's impossible to revert back to not having one, lol). He took his time and gave us some excellent recommendations. With his guidance, We were able to find the perfect mattress, power base, and head/foot board. We didn't feel pressured and appreciated that he gave us the pros and cons of each item we were purchasing so we could make an informed decision. We paid for the items on the spot and walked out feeling relieved that this was yet another item we could cross off our list. Also, I just wanted to mention that Pat (located in Bob's cafeteria) was as sweet/charismatic as could be. This store needs more employees like Matt and Pat. I've read some of the horrible reviews and I'm glad that my experience here was nothing like this.

I grew up going to stores like this in my teen years in NYC's West Village so it is a bit of a nostalgia trip to visit this place. On my most recent visit I picked up some incense. They have "shorties" which are small versions of their usual incense, about half the size (maybe a bit smaller). They are nice and cheap, costing 20 for $3 (if I recall correctly). They have small bags you can write on so you can keep track of which scent is in which bag. The cashier was very nice. I accidentally knocked a bag off its peg and she was very kind about putting it back. This is one of my "must visit" stops in the mall and I'm very happy to see them still open in Woodbridge!

I came in for a dresser that another Raymour location failed to fulfill (twice). The Iselin store had one on the floor, so I took a chance at trying to buy it. The female manager was not helpful, cold, inflexible, borderline rude, and had zero customer service skills. George saved the day by being kind, helpful, and customer-focused. Within minutes of being shut down by the mean manager, George had sourced me the dresser from the Watchung store location, who were happy to sell me their floor model and had it all wrapped and ready when I arrived (5 stars for Watchung too). It's unfortunate that the Iselin store manager adds a negative tone to the overall experience at the Iselin location. The store should strongly consider a change for overall improvement.
