We hired Wicked Entertainment for our wedding and they absolutely delivered. We booked the dhol, added lighting to our package, and had Sukhman DJing our night away. From start to finish, the energy they brought was unmatched. They set up speakers at our wedding ceremony space, our cocktail hour and then our reception hall. The dhol player set the tone perfectly and got everyone hyped up right when we needed it. The lighting completely transformed our reception hall and gave the dance floor that next level vibe that really makes a celebration feel like an event. And Sukhman? He read the crowd beautifully all night long. He knew exactly when to switch things up, when to bring the energy, and how to keep people moving. Our guests had an absolute blast. We were on the dance floor until the venue closed, which is honestly the best review I can give any DJ. Nobody wanted the night to end! If you are planning a wedding and want a team that can do it all, dhol, lighting, and an incredible DJ, book Wicked. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thanks to Happy and Sukhman for helping us bring our day together! read more

Happy did my daughter's Jago and reception party. Presentation is awesome and certainly made our events memorable

Had really high expectations for DJ services given all the positive reviews. Unfortunately our experience with them was quite different when we hired them for wedding/reception services. If you are planning to use them would suggest you do the following. 1. Keep very careful track of signed invoices. They claimed that they had forgotten to send us an invoice inspite of clear upfront conversations and officially signed contracts. 2. Be careful with upselling of services at walkthrough. 3. Make sure you specify in your contract that there is dedicated date and tine for final processing of submitted music, where cold sparklers will be exactly placed, at what points will they go off etc. We paid $1000 for cold sparklers and they were set off only once as they were positioned wrong. 4. Make sure you specify the DJ you want as they have multiple people and you could potentially receive substitutions. Bottom line would not recommend them given our personal experience. read more

Happy and the entire team at Wicked Entertainment are awesome and a pleasure to work with. They were so communicative and collaborative through the planning process, but also didn't put any pressure on us to be super prepared at any point -- they knew, with their experience, it would all come together well, and it did! They were so great using our playlists as inspiration but also making sure that they controlled the vibe throughout the night, and their mixes and transitions were fresh! All of our guests had such a great time, and Happy was able to make sure everyone had a few songs that they knew nostalgically throughout the night! They were also amazing with some ad-hoc requests that truly made the dance floor seem 10x more special for our parents and loved ones. Would highly recommend them! read more

We worked with DJ JP (Jaspreet) and DJ Hinda for our wedding, along with dholi MJ and Ricky from New York. From the start, Hinda walked me through the packages, upgrades, and options in a clear and straightforward way. Once I started working with JP, he was quick to respond, easy to work with, and open to all my ideas. For both our Jago night and wedding reception, they did a great job. The MC'ing was smooth, and the mix of Mexican music, Punjabi music, Top 40, and throwbacks kept everyone happy. The uplighting and spotlighting added a nice touch without feeling over the top. MJ on the dhol and Ricky brought great energy, and it all came together really well. I'd recommend DJ JP and the Wicked team -- music can make or break an event, and they definitely helped set the right tone for ours. read more

orking with Wicked Entertainment, led by the amazing Happy, was an absolute delight! After experiencing the unforgettable entertainment at my cousin's wedding, I knew without hesitation that I wanted Happy and his team for our special day. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Happy and Ricky's talent and professionalism shone brightly, alleviating any worries or stress about music and entertainment. Despite the complexity of our fusion wedding--blending Indian, Arabic, and American cultures with a guest list of 300 people--wicked ent. and his team seamlessly orchestrated every aspect with finesse. From coordinating with an Arabic band to curating a diverse playlist encompassing Indian, Arabic, and American music, Wicked Entertainment ensured that our reception was an electrifying celebration of cultural fusion. The addition of lighting, confetti, laser beams, and a fog machine added that extra touch of magic to our reception, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and excitement. Not only did Wicked Entertainment excel at the reception, but they also provided impeccable audio and music for our barrat and wedding ceremonies, working closely with Arabic dhol players to ensure a seamless integration of traditions. Happy's dedication to exceeding expectations and creating unforgettable memories truly sets Wicked Entertainment apart. They receive my highest recommendation and deepest gratitude for making our wedding day an absolute dream come true! The Patel and Atallah family loves you guys thanks for everything read more

Wicked Entertainment - DJs Near Me - San Francisco, California

Happy and the Wicked Entertainment team delivered a spectacular sound and lighting experience for our October 2022 indian fusion wedding celebrations. JP played a really good mix of Hindi and English songs, so you can rest assured that they will make sure your dance floor is packed, as they read the room and tailor their songs to get your guests dancing. In addition to their beautiful lighting and excellent music and DJ services, they helped us set up a special playlist of our own recordings along with additional mics and guitar inputs for family performances we did during our Sangeet. They even helped us partially disassemble and fix a dance floor at the last minute that same night, which another vendor put together incorrectly. They stepped up to get the job done, even though that wasn't their responsibility. Great job all around. They were hard to reach at times (I think they were insanely busy this past year especially) and their price was a bit higher, but still we got reassurance from them and vendors who have worked with them that they do a great job. That totally turned out to be true, and we were very satisfied with what they delivered in the end for both our events. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Happy and his team again! read more

Happy is amazing!!!! He DJ'd all three of my wedding events and got nothing but compliments all around. Happy knows how to cater music to all aspects of the crowd. My husband and I are from different parts of India and he was well in tune on how to motivate the crowd at a Sangeet vs. the wedding reception and wedding baraat. He is so fun and easy to work with and is a trusted advisor in the wedding industry. If you are able to book him, no question why you should! He also did a fantastic job on audio visual lighting and effects which is a huge part of bringing the event to life!! Happy made time to do a consult with me on site as well as outside of my event leading up to it to make sure I had all things ready for him to play. He reviewed all songs with me to make sure he played them at the right moments and had such a great play list of music to cater to the full crowd! He is also such a nice, friendly and well connected guy that genuinely wants to make your day special. I never felt he was working he felt part of the family and brought momentum and energy to every event. He is hands down my preferred DJ in the Bay Area! Thank you Happy! read more

Wicked provided the sound and lighting for our wedding in SF City Hall, and we cannot even imagine not having them. The lighting was out of this world, and they kept the dance floor kicking right to the end of the event. Happy was hard to get in touch with initially, but once we got on a phone call with him, he took the time to talk about anything and everything we needed. He is so kind and helpful, and goes the distance to ensure the event is nothing short of spectacular. We talked about our vision for the lighting, and he instantly got it. Through the planning phase he also offered a lot of helpful tips and suggestions on what to improve, and what to skip on to keep the costs in check. He even invited us to come check out his other events so we can see real examples and make informed decisions for our event. On the day of the event, we did not have to worry about a thing. Happy and team had everything setup without any glitches, and had the show running smoothly. We had both our ceremony and reception at the same venue, with a few hours in between. When we reentered for the reception, we were absolutely blown away by the transformation. The venue looked better than what we had even imagined, and was the perfect backdrop for our celebrations. Once the dancing started the sound and audio made set a nightclub like atmosphere. The songs kept the party going non stop, and no one veered off the dance floor, until we had to vacate the venue. Again, we can't express how easy Happy was to work with, and how far out of the park he hit the ball for our event. We would not have done it any other way! read more

Happy did the music and lighting for my pre-wedding and wedding events. Happy does a great job understanding your personal music style and fusing that with the vibe of each event. On each day of the wedding, he played a combo of English and Hindi/Punjabi music - All of our guests were grooving on the dance floor throughout the events! I cannot thank Happy enough for setting the tone on each day. I highly recommend Happy and his team to anybody looking for a DJ who can get and KEEP guests on the dance floor! read more

Happy was so great during the planning process and super understanding of our last minute plan changes due to covid. We had JP on the day of our wedding and he was very professional and helpful. We did have some issues during the ceremony with the mics but all in all it was a great night. I got so many compliments after the event and during about how great the song choices were and how great the DJ was. Would work with them again for sure! read more

DJ Happy and his crew at Wicked Entertainment are a top tier wedding vendor. The music was perfect, the lightning was exceptional and they were timely and professional to a fault. Our guests are still raving about the dholi accompaniment to our more american reception playlist. If your in the hunt for a DJ crew, save yourself the trouble and reach out to these guys! read more

We had Happy and his team for our wedding in November and I could not have asked for a better DJ or vendor to work with. He really went above and beyond and blew our expectations out of the water. We couldn't be more thankful. Ive never planned nor been a part of wedding planning before so this was really new to me. We had some very last minute decisions to be made but he made everything flow seamlessly. The music was perfect and everyone loved the dhol player! Everyone had a blast and danced until the lights came on. Simply put, if he's on your list of DJ's you're looking into - hire him. If he's not on your list yet - add him. Thanks Happy! read more

wicked entertainment is amazing!!! Happy and team are always smiling and eager to help! Being a wedding planner it was tricky for me to select the DJ for my own event. At the end, we decided to finalize with Wicked because we have seen how professional and courteous they are to work with. I can't thank you guys enough for an amazing event! The beautiful GOBO (that they used for the first time on my wedding) -- blew me away. I wanted something intricate and sort of Indian looking but nothing too fobby. With just that description only, Happy knew exactly what I wanted and delivered the best gobo. The dhol was on point, the music got everyone on the dance floor (even the folks from the grooms side who were from London and never dance).!!! Thanks Happy and the Wicked Team for an amazing event!!! I would definitely recommend you again!!! read more

So thankful we had Wicked Entertainment be part of our big day! We knew our event would not be as entertaining as it was, if it wasn't for Happy and his team. Guests have contacted us and said they had such a great time dancing. The dance floor was never empty! Everything, from the lighting to their set-up to the music....it was awesome. Thank you once again for making our night amazing! -Harman & Amani read more

Happy and Jaspreet were our DJs (and MC announcers) for our wedding reception. They do a great job of customizing the packages for whatever you may be looking for (with all the optional add-ons ranging from on the clouds fog to custom monograms). Leading up to the event, they did a great job at asking the questions to cater to the type of event that we wanted to have. We also had them make the mix for our first dance and my surprise performance (which they kept secret from my husband!). They did a fantastic job with the timeline of events and announcements. When they opened the dance floor, the music was ON POINT from start to finish. They did a great job at reading the crowd and catering music to everyone. We received several compliments the next day about how great the music was and how there was always someone dancing on the dance floor. Thanks again Wicked! read more

Wicked provided the music for our Sangeet and a Doli for our baraat and they did a really fantastic job. We really didn't have any idea how a Sangeet should go, especially since we had such a mixed crowd, but Happy put us at ease by speaking with us before the event and giving us some helpful ideas. Love, the DJ at our Sangeet, was great at reading the crowd and keeping people interested in having fun. We were really nervous about the Sangeet since we had such a mixed crowd and hadn't been to many Sangeets, but Love did such a great job that most of our guests stayed until the very end! I would definitely recommend Wicked for your event! read more

I am so so glad to have booked this great team! Happy was very responsive, considerate and really invested in making our wedding day a success. He took the time to go over all the fine details and ensured we were having the music we wanted at all times. They did a phenomenal job as both an emcee and the DJ. Nobody wanted to stop dancing when they got the dance floor going!! The dance music was excellent and we received tons of compliments on how great the DJ was! Overall, I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and how good they are at what they do! read more

The group that djed our party were pretty young and updated with the latest songs and have great equipment. Despite the hiccup we ran in too, which was attended/resolved a few days later, it was good. The one regret that I have is that I didn't put a playlist together. I'm an 80s baby and wanted to also cater to the older generation playing the classics; if your preference is the same and want it executed, I highly suggest you talk to the dj ahead of time since it didn't seem like they had the songs that I told my family to request on my behalf since my husband and I were busy with guests, other than that, it was fine. The dj that serviced our events was Dj Chrome. I believe he was the back up or is part of the team, I'm not sure which. read more

This review is based off my cousin's wedding June 2016. Morning of, the bride asked me to find and send entrance music to the DJ which was sent likely close to noon the day of the event and by cocktail hour the DJ had it all ready to go and let me make sure the clips started at the right portion. During the reception when some of the traditional events or a dance from the bridal party needed music sent last minute, the DJ was very accommodating of last minute emails and making everything go as smooth as possible. Then when the dance floor opened up, music was on point all night! From my experience at my own wedding, trying to send everything early to another DJ, he'd still miss half of it when I'd check to confirm so I really appreciate the effort to put up with my family's last minute-ness and still doing an awesome job! Highly recommend :) read more

I have been to many events performed by Wicked Entertainment. Of all these events, never once have I witnessed a hiccup in anything they do from lighting, music, speeches, etc. They have many venues going on a weekly basis, if you want to witness firsthand their capabilities or level of professionalism contact them and I'm sure they will have an event near you in Northern CA that you could pop into real fast and see for yourself. We used Happy and team for our Sangeet, Baraat, Wedding and Reception and were amazed by how professional, thoughtful and genuinely excellent he and his team were. Happy himself is one of the most dedicated, collaborative and committed professionals, let alone entertainers, that I have ever worked with. The dance floor was packed at all of our events and our guests loved the music. Happy and team consistently went the extra mile for us and we would hire them again in a heartbeat.
