They text the date of when the car will be ready and each time have finished on the date they specified. They are very helpful when picking up and dropping off a rental car. The rental car is dropped off at Aldrich when you are done with it and when your vehicle is dropped off for repair a van from the rental agency takes you over to the rental shop to pick up the rental vehicle. Super convenient. They send out timely messages on the status of the car as they are working on it. When you are initially getting an estimate they take a look, assess the damage and then return the car and give you a date to bring it in while they order the parts. That way the car is back with you until they get parts and then you bring it in. If you find anything that might seem n0ot quite right they take you right in and fix it immediately (the same day). The women at the front desk are extremely helpful and the person who takes a look at your car is great (Jamie). I highly recommend this business for autobody work. My car looks great!

Fitchburg police ordered the tow to this specific location. Vehicle has been there for a day and a…read morehalf and the invoice is already at $509.00. The charges on the invoice are ridiculous, unnecessary and were not authorized by me. When I asked about these fees, one of the owners had the audacity to lie about the location of my vehicle at the time of the tow and lie about the weather conditions- to give reason for the winching and the wrapping of windows- which were never an issue as it was not raining and they had the key and could have rolled up the windows themselves. In addition, they threw in some stupid yard fee, an administrative fee, and a service time fee. But they gave me a break on a gate fee of $100.00. And their idea of helping me with the bill was asking me if I wanted to give them the title to my vehicle and pay the $200.00 This place is a f**kin' joke. They may get my money for now, but I'm sure to get it back in the very near future. They aren't taking my car either. Funny how Fitchburg Police use a "Auto Body & Repair" shop and how many people lose their cars because they can't pay the bull$hit fees these vampires charge to release a vehicle.

Phill's is a small, nondescript shop, but don't let that fool you!…read more I needed a major repair after a tree crashed onto the top of my car. I first went to the shops recommended by my insurance company, but was NOT treated right by them. (They were highly patronizing, with a "don't-worry-just-leave-it-all-to-us" attitude that was extremely annoying. Plus, I just didn't feel a sense of trust...call it intuition.) Then I found Phill's. The owner, Ken, treated me with respect. He answered all of my questions, and even more, he provided me with information I didn't know about! He took the time to look over the insurance estimate, and found several mistakes. Thanks to him, the estimate was revised, and the amount the insurance company was willing to cover went up by $1500! I felt completely safe that I was being treated ethically and responsibly at Phill's. Now my car is back, and it looks brand-new! While I don't wish an accident on anybody, if you do have one, I cannot recommend Phill's more highly. Stay away from the fancy shops with the big names and go to Phill's instead. If my car ever gets smashed again, that's exactly who I'm taking it to.
