At first, it was weird because as soon as you enter the office, there's a security sitting but very helpful instructed me to take a number and fill out a paper. After my number was called, I was informed that someone will call me but not sure whether to stay or leave, so I decided to leave and run some errands. In less than 30 minutes I received a call and drove back to turn in some paperwork. It was that easy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It's definitely worth a drive. I'd called the Assessors office the Thursday before I went in and they were very helpful and encouraging. The wait was very short at the Recorder's office and the young lady behind the counter at window number 4 was very pleasant and efficient. Make sure you have your paperwork filled out right and you'll be in and out in no time. This was a Wednesday morning and there were very few people waiting. It's a huge beautiful building with heavy ornate doors, not your typical State or County office setting or your typical employees.

They are super kind and friendly. They told me exactly where I needed to go. Everywhere you go, there is at least one person waiting to help you. I checked in at 10:47 am and my number was called at 11:45am. The wait, I think, is reasonable considering the number of people. The wait is also justified because once you are called, your representation does their best to help you by being friendly and caring. They do not look like they are in rush, rather they go through the process slowly and clearly. Really good organization and customer service!
