Inside the library, two shelves that were quite full of books. Nearly all childrens's books but a few thrillers, romance and even some cookbooks. A good variety. I'll just say in advance that I'm not from the area, and my perspective is going to be quite…read morelimited. But what I saw was that this is a beautiful space, housed in a former bank that was built in the 1960s. (I'm glad that it was repurposed, rather than being subjected to demolition by market forces.) The architecture includes a large skylight dome, various modernist accents and a bank vault downstairs. It's small, but it feels very roomy at the same time. Staff were nice to us and they host a number of community activities. When we were there, they had a play hour in a separate room for kids, with a large open space and puzzles on the floor. If you live here, or even if you don't, stop in someday!
