As you might guess, it lives up to its name and they have books and items about Montana, including things back when it was still a territory. They have a couple of chairs in that room, if you ever wanted to sit inside a bank vault or wanted to read those books and learn a thing or two about where you are. Nothing about Hannah Montana, but that's all well and good. On Mel D's photo, you can see the traces of Wibaux County Bank above the door, so that explains the bank vault! On that day, they had Lego Club for the local kids and it got a big turnout. Backpacks galore in the aforementioned vault. It's nice that they host things for the community like that! My advice: don't be a weeboo, but go to Wibaux and check out their library!

But what I saw was that this is a beautiful space, housed in a former bank that was built in the 1960s. (I'm glad that it was repurposed, rather than being subjected to demolition by market forces.) The architecture includes a large skylight dome, various modernist accents and a bank vault downstairs. It's small, but it feels very roomy at the same time. Staff were nice to us and they host a number of community activities. When we were there, they had a play hour in a separate room for kids, with a large open space and puzzles on the floor. If you live here, or even if you don't, stop in someday!

Ticket also good for Fort Buford. Walkway to view the confluence. Lots of mosquitoes. Only negative was person manning the desk as when asked how to get to viewing area to see the confluence, he replied he didnt know . . . . Definitely worthwhile to take the timeto visit this out of the way spot and visualize the Native Americans and the Lewis and Clark Expedition passing through.

This is a relatively new library, located along the secondary street in Wibaux. The brown wood…read morelibrary has a single door and a shingled roof. It stands on a single black post. Inside the library, two shelves that were quite full of books. Nearly all childrens's books but a few thrillers, romance and even some cookbooks. A good variety. This is a tucked a way location but definitely worth checking out. Amazing information expanding on…read morethe Lewis and Clark trail. So much history along the Missouri River and at this particular spot it meets the Yellow Stone River. The center holds artifacts found in the area and explains how important this area was at the time for the fur trade. There's also many picturesque locations along the trails you can take. You can bring a picnic sit at the picnic area next to the center. I am sad to say I took pictures of the Buford Fort area but I did not get out. The mosquitos were just relentless here so if you come here bring mosquitos spray. I must say also that the signage for Fort Buford could use some refreshing. Note: there is primitive camping sites and the Fort also has a cemetery that soldiers are still resting there. Lovely to visit that as well.
