Now they have took their pizza prices to the stratosphere. $2.99 and up for each topping on the least expensive overhead item they make . $3-$5 for an entire pizza . They do have a few things right: There's a good amount of toppings on the pizza and the ingredients are high quality. There are a lot of nice combination choices and plenty of variety on the menu. They do have amazingly fudge-y chocolate ice cream. I've been here a few times and it doesn't leave much of an impression each time. The crust is always a touch too chewy and I'm not a fan of the chewy, doughy consistency. Good pizza is really all about the sauce and the crust. They took precooked pepperoni pizza slice, tossed a bunch of toppings on, and put it in the oven for all ove 5 mins. Needless to say, the new ingredients weren't cooked, and it was a mess. 2nd time, I ordered a full size pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage pizza and it was an undercooked, floppy mush and a waste of $30. This food is a poorly executed and very over-priced pizza pie. You couldn't get 99 cents a slice for this floppy slop in NYC. read more

The pizza was cold and terrible. The delivery person got here as quickly as possible so I have to think the pizza sat there for a while for some reason. That would be ok, we can heat it up, but the flavor of the sauce was just salty. no other taste was discernable over the salty taste. it just ruins the whole pizza. The dough was ok. A little thin, soggy and flavorless, but I've had worse. I'm from New England, so when a pizza shop claims to make NY style pizza, there are expectations. This met none of them. Then there were the zeppole desserts. They had the taste and consistency of baked pizza dough. Not fried dough like traditional zeppoles. We had ordered 2 servings as we love zeppoles we've had before in other cities, and wound up eating one each of the hard, dry, flavorless little pizza dough balls sprinkled with powdered sugar and threw the rest of them out. $9 of zeppoles trashed. If you've never had a zeppole and don't mind fried dough that has no resemblance with the taste or texture of fried dough, maybe you won't care. I think WNP can do better. We won't be back unless they completely overhaul their pizza sauce. We're willing to just not attempt to eat their zeppoles again. read more
