Explained to him that i was driving from Miami and would appreciate an honest review of the car, wanting to know what problems the car had so I wouldn't be wasting their time as well as mine. He sent me a video, some pictures and stated that the car was in great shape. My wife and I were in the car the next day driving the 140 plus miles to their dealership. When we got there, we were greeted and told that the vehicle was being detailed. After about a 10 minute wait they brought the car around and it looked great from a distance. Upon closer inspection I immediately noticed the trunk lid, and rear bumper appeared to be freshly painted. The vehicles external flaws were told to me on the phone, so I knew what I was walking into. When I discussed on the phone the condition of the AC, he said it was working great. Upon inspection, it appeared that there was some type of foam sealant used on the ac accumulator. When asked about it the sales rep told us he knew nothing of that. While it blew cold, it was apparent that there was an issue at some time, but no one knew anything about it. I checked under the car and it also appeared since it was a North Carolina car, there was rust under the car which may have been why the rear deck lid and bumper were painted. I asked him why were they painted and I got what has to be the most ridiculous answer ever from a car salesman and I quote "We had them painted because the guys in the body shop had nothing to do so we gave them something to do" If that was the fucking case they should have done the whole car! Right then and there, we lost trust in both him and the dealership. We opened the trunk to find it extremely wet on both the carpet and deck lid. They took it back to the body shop and told us that they would let us know what the problem was. We left to go get something to eat and waited for their call. An hour and a half later I get a text that it was the studs holding the tail lights in and that it was fixed. Like I said earlier we lost trust with them, so we both decided to pass on the vehicle due to that loss of trust, NO MATTER HOW MUCH WE LIKED THE CAR! We both were quite pissed at the fact that we drove all that way fully expecting to leave with it, only to be mislead on what was actually wrong with the car. I called the dealership later to speak with the manager and left a message for Tim Masse the manager. I was told he would return my call, never did. Left another message yesterday, same result no call back. Left another this morning, still crickets. I'm sure that this dealership provides a great service to the local community that wants new cars? Used cars, another story. Would I do business with them? Not at this point. A simple inspection of the vehicle by one of their mechanics, listing what I found in a 15 minute inspection would have saved us a shit ton of time that I could have spent looking for an honest and reliable used car. I still cannot get over this statement; "We had them painted because the guys in the body shop had nothing to do so we gave them something to do" Think about that before you venture out to see what they have to offer. Just not right to bullshit a customer with cash to spend! Time to hit social media to spread the word....... They chose to delete my honest review so I added it again plus an update. Thank you for turning me away otherwise I wouldn't have found this little gem in my backyard. 2006 Grand Marquis 60 thousand original miles with an extended warranty to 92 thousand miles as well as 4 additional new tires and rims. I called them at 12 noon after I got a large metal object stuck in my tire, causing a slow leak…read moreover two weeks and spoke to Dustin who is polite and professional on the phone was able to get me in as soon as I arrived by 4 PM same day. They arrived. They were courteous, quick (40 min) and professional, and were able to patch up the tire after removing what turned out to be a valve cap. Then, when they double checked their work, they found another nail and took that one out for no additional charge! Extremely reasonable prices (~$30) definitely way cheaper than investing in a new tire if I'd gone to a dealer! Highly recommend, would definitely go back next time I get another flat!

Avoid this "business". This is for Tech Automotive, going by the name Rosco's Garage oddly enough…read more Asked for a quote to get O2 sensors replaced on the family car. Even though two in my fam are certified to fix cars, we do not have a rack to put the car up & do it ourselves, so we decided to request a quote & support a Sebring business. The owner Rosco, right away asked me to leave the car with them so they could take a look at it (day or more). I told him that I really just wanted a quote for the work first, and that I could not leave the car there, unless it was actually being worked on, and me there waiting for it. Rosco, without taking into account that I already deeply know things about my car, questioned whether we actually knew if the issue was an O2 sensor. After the push back I got from him, he agreed to look and give me a quote (had to really talk him into it...). So based on the VIN, he gave a quote that was simply egregious. He marked up the costs of the parts two to three times the original costs, and ultimately painted the whole job as being a difficult, difficult task. He did not realize that myself and several in my family had already researched the OEM parts, non-OEM parts, and even watched a half a dozen videos that show how easy it is to replace the parts, particularly if you have the car up on a rack. The sensors on the bottom require a simple socket extension...not tough at all. His comments to me were dripping with greed, degradation and pride as he was trying to rip me off. Any mechanic could do the job in less than an hour with the car lifted. There is no mystery in putting a socket wrench on a ratchet. Rosco was describing scenarios that would take the job well into over a $1K, when any mech could replace all 4 sensors for no more than $300 -$400. He must deal with a lot of folks that don't know how to use the internet, or the existence of YouTube that shows everything about everything. Please do not use or trust Rosco's Garage for anything. They are simply out to make you feel stupid, & drain your pockets, and I feel bad for the folks who work there (Josh).
