I rescued another dog who needed training for pulling and aggression towards other dogs. I opted to use my prior 2 weeks and pay an additional 1k to train my new dog. Everything was set for early January of 2025, but my mom died on the 16th and I couldn't keep the schedule. When I began attempting to contact Daniel in March, he was MIA. I felt bad for him and thought there must have been a tragedy in his family. Not so, he is just dodging me. I dont care about the lost 2 weeks. I just want my 1k back. Shame on you. I would not refer you to anyone.

As June approached, I reached out again -- multiple times -- to follow up and get a specific date set. My messages were never responded to. It's now the end of June. At this point, I just want my money back so I can take my dog elsewhere to someone who's reliable and professional the least you can do is communicate and issue a refund.

My dog sustained a cut on the leg during grooming, which was treated with "vet glue" and a bandage. Initially, it was described as a minor injury that would heal quickly. However, after a week, it became apparent that stitches were necessary. This has resulted in substantial vet expenses. I would not recommend this groomer. Full disclosure: My dog was matted before being groomed which I was clear about before the groom BUT she has been matted before and we've taken her to several groomers and not once has she been cut, so I'm not accepting that reasoning to be valid.

Animals they do generally treat include the basics: cat, dogs, etc. A family member has taken her aging boxer here several times and they have researched every possible avenue to treat this sweet puppy. His tech hurt my dog and now my dog is terrified and won't go back because of his fear of them. I called them out on it (hurting my dog) and they suggested I drug my dog up next time before bringing him in. They suggested I drug my dog up before coming in so they can cut his nails?! When I mentioned this to Ryan Bowler that his tech hurt my dog he just shrugged it off and suggested because it didn't bleed that he wasn't hurt. I about lost it. When I told him I was taking my dog to someone else he just dismissed it like he couldn't care less. No apologies, offers, consolations or considerations to keep us he just dismissed us like we were nothing to him. He literally couldn't care less. I've been bringing Harly in for a couple years and then they did this like it was just business as usual so I told him I was done with his horrible practice. I've had issues with him before over the $70 exam fee that he spent doing for less than two minutes to tell me yep he's okay all for $70. I'm telling you these people will hurt your dog and then act like it was yours or the dog's fault! Worst veterinarian I've ever had after 30 years of owning dogs and going to vets I've ever encountered. You want your pet to be abused this is your guy! WARNING GO AT THE RISK OF YOUR PET!!

Zion vet clinic is our local vet and we adore them. They are the best team in the area HANDS DOWN…read more Their staff are kind and more than competent. Being one of the only animal hospitals in this rural area they are occasionally and unpredictably over the top busy (to no fault of the staff). I have seen them communicate an inability to take on new clients for emergency care and refer out to other providers on one day when the hospital team was slammed. I thought this was much more responsible than overloading staff and starting to let care slip with some animals, as other hospitals may have chosen to do. I've never seen them let an animal in their care slip through the cracks even when at full capacity. Dr Merwin is an actual saint that went above and beyond in ways that ended up saving our pup's life, whom is now grown and healthy. They have reasonable prices for routine vet care such as vaccines, wellness exams ect. Emergency care can be pricey but having unfortunately had experiences with every emergency vet provider in the area from St. George to Cedar City, I can say with certainty, these are the guys I'd want to go to.

On the eve of Thanksgiving, we were told our puppy was very sick, needed a surgery that starts anywhere from $8-$10 THOUSAND asap, and that it won't guarantee her to live since she is a Frenchie. Then they said she needed another surgery after that for something else, which was over $10 THOUSAND. We decided to go pick her up from our vet and make a hard decision to put her down. I started calling around Vegas with info that our vet gave us, and the Vets that did answer said the same price, and the risk was huge! I started doing a wider search in California, Arizona, and Utah. Finally, I called Lava Rock, Ashley answered, I asked A LOT of questions, she patiently answered all of them, and she set up an appointment for the next day. We packed our bags, along with our other dog (so if the surgery was successful, and she needed aftercare, we would stay out in St. George). We arrived, and the first thing they noticed was how well our puppy was acting. Dr Murdock went over all Philly's records and did an exam. She let us know that after the exam, she didn't see any reason to put our girl down. We were SHOCKED AND CONFUSED (crying happy tears now) as this was such a serious life-threatening problem, so we asked her to take an X-ray to reassure us. She still didn't see any reason for concern! We are happy to report our girl is ALIVE and THRIVING
