Obviously, I would not pay a monthly membership fee to belong to a studio led by a rude, inappropriate owner and instructor. Like most people, I live on a budget, and I don't have an endless source of discretionary income. That being said, I would never be part of such an environment that was full of hostility and judgment. I love working out, and fitness is a huge part of my life. I participate in almost all classes offered at this studio. From Step to Ballet, strength training and cardio formats, to pole dancing and yoga. I love all that is offered here, and I certainly feel that I get more than my money's worth - this studio is my second home. Sharon is unapologetically authentic and real, and I truly respect her for that. As a community of women of various ages and backgrounds, there may be opinionated discussions, but with respect and support. This studio is a place for everyone to feel comfortable, not just while working out, but to also be able to share personal stories and situations. I have never felt that any of my personal boundaries were crossed and that I was not in a safe environment to share sensitive issues. It is also at my own discretion that I share anything, personal or professional; I have never felt "talked about" or confronted negatively and certainly not while present in the studio, by Sharon or any other member. The other instructors hired by Sharon to cover additional classes have been professional and knowledgeable. There isn't much turnover, in my opinion, and again, I have been CONSISTENT with my membership over five years. It is quite common for part time instructors to eventually leave, and considering how long most have stayed on over the years, it speaks highly of Sharon's business practices and rapport. I love this studio, and I intend to be a long standing member for many more years to come.

It doesn't feel cramped just really well thought out and aesthetically pleasing. Instructor Simmone was amazing. She was clear, motivating, and made the class feel both challenging and enjoyable. You can tell she really knows what she's doing and is intentional about the flow of the workout. I booked the class through ClassPass and had a great experience overall. The only downside is parking , street parking is the only option and it can be a bit annoying, so definitely plan to arrive early to give yourself time. Also it was 83 out and the space was open to the outside so it was fine . I'm not sure if it has central AC or not , but I probably wouldn't come back on a hot day .

It really helped regulate my nervous system And I very much appreciated. Franz and the way he helped guide beginners. What I did not appreciate was a woman who was also a beginner and craved support on an almost competitive level. She was very much attended to and a bit of a trauma dumper. I left for a while because of her, she just kept showing up in my space, but that was my choice to leave. Fast forward to the pandemic I did try to rejoin online and I was met with that same woman who I did try to extend an Olive branch to, since she was struggling and kept "showing up". She was the same trauma dumper, yet didn't remember me. But something that came to light is that I was not allowed to join the book group that she had created. As I got better, I thought about going back in spite of this woman, but then I saw that she is part of faculty Ultimately I decided that a group that would support someone with that behavior, in the way that they did is not the right group for me. I probably should have and I thought about contacting leaders in this group, but at that time, my nervous system was not in a place to defend myself and it's somehow felt small and petty. Better to let her have her way. However, six years later, I see that this is not the Buddhist way, which is the way they follow. I was not shown loving kindness in a time when I really needed it.
