To make matters worse, I was hosting a birthday party the coming weekend and had so much to do. I was trying everything to get back my mobility... stretches, cbd oil, back roller, mobility ball, ice, heat, pain cream, rest, but nothing was working and I was in tears from desperation. It can be a frightening feeling when your freedom of movement is slipping away before your eyes. I didn't feel comfortable driving the car and could barely bend down at all. I had to do something or cancel the party, so I found Dr. Burr's reviews here. I'm not really a chiropractor person, at least I wasn't, but I liked that they relied on teaching exercise treatment therapies as well as adjustments, because my other experiences with chiropractic seemed like they were a repeating RX for more and more visits. I wanted a solution and things I could learn to do for myself. I also liked that he had a relationship with Applied Fitness Solutions, (AFS) where I have a membership and who I trust. Mitch was so compassionate and nice on the phone, and is so nice to work with. God bless them, they got me in the same day and I was able to start implementing the exercises Dr. Burr showed me right away. He explained my issues so well and was very personable but so clearly a professional. He really understood where I was at and knew what to do. I also purchased a lumbar pillow that helped train my spine to return to where it needed to be. I appreciated that they didn't push the purchase of this hard, and showed me how I could also use a towel, but I have to say the pillow does the job so perfectly, is comfortable, and doesn't slip that I'm really glad I bought it. It definitely made a huge difference in my recovery. It turned car trips into therapy. Two days later my pain had so improved!! I had a follow-up visit this day and Dr. Burr expertly assessed my progress and told me what to do to take my recovery further. I never imagined I could feel this better this quickly. I did the exercises frequently and they strengthened me and corrected the problem. Dr. Burr did give a great upper back adjustment as well. I'm still amazed at how fast I improved. Dr. Burr said that early treatment was key to bouncing back so quickly. I'm not out of the woods yet, but I just need a few more visits... not perpetual visits! I'm functioning and mostly comfortable. I'm so happy to share this as my success story! The party is tomorrow and it's totally happening, and I'll be able to enjoy it fully! My husband was amazed as well when he saw how miserable I was (my family had to do so much for me!) and he is going to see Dr. Burr for some back pain he has been struggling with for a while. He wasn't a chiropractor person either lol. If you have pain and are looking for real lasting help, I can't recommend Dr. Burr highly enough.

In just 5 sessions I learned SO much about what was going on with my body and causing my pain. He actually took the time to listen to my concerns and venting at times Lol. But, I haven't been in pain since. I wish I would have went last year! I highly recommend his method over a 'regular' chiropractor where you may just pop in for for adjustment. That was only a small part of the treatment here. He reminded me of seeing a PT and specialist all in one. Definitely worth the time. Thanks RJ!

Because I had an existing well-known established chiropractor that I had been seeing for 25+ years, who is absolutely fabulous, I walked into this place very skeptical with all the guards up and thinking there's nothing this new place would be able to give me. But when I say walked, I really meant shuffled and stumbled because I was bent over in so much pain with every step. Without going into detail about my condition, I was depleted, in tears and easily agitated because of the nerve pain that I was experiencing. But when I walked out, I was eternally grateful for Dr. Adam and his team. Not only was everyone so professional and pleasant and the place was super clean. But what really stood out was the 1-1 interaction with Dr Adam and especially with Taylor, his assistant, with her empathy and support I felt seen which is important when you're already in a vulnerable state. Moreover, the quality of the care that I received was so exceptional that when I walked out of their office all I can say is I felt like I had a new body. Yes, it was temporary relief, and I will need to go back, but I walked out with smile and laughter and walking straight up, so much so that I felt compelled to share my story in writing this review because although I have a long journey to healing, with Dr. Adam and his team by my side I truly know I will get there and they helped to restore my faith and hope that I can get back to my pre-injury self. With so much gratitude.

I am a 460 year old male who has had back problems my whole life. It started when I was 13. I have…read morealways been athletic and in good shape and even with back issues played sports. My back would go out and freeze up 2-3 times a year on average for about 3-4 days and then I could function. This happened for 25 years until 2 years ago my back went out in February 16. This time was different I didn't recover from it after 2 weeks and it was getting worse.I was bed ridden and could not function as my pain level was of the charts I went to the doctors and they did the same they always do x-ray. The day of the x-ray getting back into my car I basically got paralyzed and couldn't move. I ended up in the hospital that day with a pain level that was worse than anything I ever felt. Turned out I had a BULGING DISC AND HERNIATED DISC. That had been my problem the whole time since i was a kid.The disc has been pushing on my spinal cord causing it to freeze up. The difference now is my disc burst and was leaking fluid onto my spinal cord. This was shown from my MRI which was the first I've received. The doctors wanted to cut out my L5 and S1 disc and put one rod on each side of my spine with 3 screws in each side. At first I wanted to do the surgery because I only wanted to not suffer anymore. However the more I looked into the results of the surgery the more I changed my mind. The stories I herd were horrible about recovery and results. I started doing research and came across Laser Spinal Decompression. They claimed to have a 90% success rate. Well I was like BS there no way it can be that good. I went to a appointment to see what they had to say and left there feeling like it could not be true. I thought long and had and canceled my surgery and decided to give this treatment a try. Even tho it wasn't covered by Insurance. So I went to the treatment and had immediate results the pressure on my back got a little relief. Mind you at this point I felt a pain level of 9 all day every day and tailbone felt like it was loose with bolts loose. Not to mention my hips were killing and I could not sit down on any seat for more than 2 minutes. I kept going and was feeling better and better after the 10 or so visit I started to want to walk and get some exercise. After the 21 visits I felt amazing I had played tennis and basketball among other things. So hear I am two years later and I feel amazing I dropped 25 pounds and Have my life back I can work and go out and do pretty much anything I want. Now I still go to the treatment and will NEVER stop going. I have done 3 rounds of it and it has saved my life for sure. I use to say I could see how someone would want to end there life with this type m of thing. I didn't feel like a man or a provider because I simply was broken. BUT NOT ANY MORE!!!
