My original review of this place was after my first session..which i have to say was AMAZING. I purchased the Living Social deal for 3 hydro-colonic therapy sessions. Here it goes...one appointment at a time! Made the appointment over the phone which was quit the doing..it did take a while to make the appointment. Appointment #1 The staff @ the front was not the best at knowing what she should be doing and seemed confused...but...she was super sweet and I pushed it aside. Showed up 20 - 30 minute early as they asked. Filled out the 5-8 pieces of paper, information and so on... Still waiting...The girl at the front desk asked if I wanted to giggle.. I did so for 10 minutes and by the time I was done...Kimba came out and took me back for my session. Now Kimba from my understanding is the owner!!! The therapist Kimba...was late...but everyone seemed nice...so I pushed it aside. The appointment was excellent..she took her time with me, even thou she did bring up several times how she always spent too much time with each client and that made her run late, but oh well she really loved her job of helping people...blah blah blah... Appointment #2 I made the appointment the same day of appointment #1 was done. Now the next series of event occurred over about a 2 week period...it took me 2 weeks to get back in for appointment #2 The first time...I showed up and waited...then the girl at the front received a text message from Kinba saying she would be about 45 minutes late...I was unable to wait..so I made a new appointment and left. The day of my 2nd attempt at appointment #2...they called right before I was getting ready to leave and said Kimba was not able to make it.. So I made a 2nd appointment for the 3rd time... Same thing...Kimba was late or unable to make it...they called and cancelled my appointment they morning of... Finally....I showed up for my 2nd appointment and Kimba was late...but she showed up..the problem now is...Kimba's attitude had changed and she totally rushed the appointment and it didn't even seem like the same person or place. She rushed me all the way...we didn't have any good results from the therapy and she just told me "we need to talk about your diet"...and that was it..she was kind of snippy and made me feel bad... 3rd appointment..I didn't make one..I told the girls after Kimba zipped out of the building..before I could even get dressed..it was weird. I felt like Kimba sure didn't want to be there and it was not AT ALL like my first appointment. They really owe me...the 3rd appointment not being used and all the times she flaked out!! Come on...if I didn't show up for an appointment they would have forfeited my appointment..like money wise...duh!! What about when Kimba keeps flaking all the time? What about our time? If I was you...I would stay away from this place... not happy with the service or treatment! Most of the people that work there are super nice...sorry to write such a bad review..but I would never do this if it wasn't true. This place is inspiring! I came here to have my blood tested about a month ago and wound up learning so much about my body. Kimba confirmed for me the things I had suspicion were going wrong and showed me the effect my tea habit and love for cheese were having on me on a cellular level. She "scared me straight". I did a cleanse with her and am now going to go on to follow an anti-fungal diet for a month or so to get myself to optimal health. I gave up sugar and caffeine a month ago, and though it was painful at first, it made my cleanse go a lot smoother. I purchased the $113 Living Social deal for 3 colon hydrotherapies...... I was so excited to try the colon hydrotherapy- it was my first time and I thought it would be great to 'cleanse from the inside' .... but here was my experience: 1) The staff at Whole Body Vibe is INCOMPETENT at scheduling!!!!!!! -not only did it take me 3 days and voicemails to finally get a hold of them- they scheduled my appointments for times when the therapist wasn't even there! So, I wasted hours driving to and from for treatments I didn't even receive 2) THE THERAPIST IS ALWAYS LATE! -I had to miss 3 hours of class one day because the therapist was so late!!!!! -I also drove there on a lunch break for my second visit (takes me 45 min to get there) and the therapist hadn't even left her house (witch is 45 min from the studio) by the time I got there- and I couldn't miss MORE class so I couldn't even get a treatment) 3) The front office Staff LIED TO ME -on my second appointment, they told me the therapist was 'stuck in traffic' , then a few minutes later said 'the therapist was getting gas, then getting on the freeway' - meaning she hadn't even left her house yet- I EVEN CHECKED THE SIG ALERT TO CHECK TRAFFIC- and there was NO TRAFFIC- deceitful. I even called before to confirm my appointment!!!!!!!! I wasted 1.5 hours driving to and from this place- for an appointment I never even got!!!!! 4) They were UNWILLING TO REFUND ME I bought the deal and called the next morning to schedule an appointment. I left a message, but no one got back with me. The next day, no one called me back, so I left another message- again, no phone call returned. *I finally got a hold of them the 3rd day after my initial phone call..... I scheduled all 3 of my appointments at once, because the lady said they were booking up quickly because of the LivingSocial deal. I wrote down all the appointments that the receptionist gave me, and put them in my phone to remember. My first appointment was for a Thursday, so I planned to start a cleanse that Monday to get the maximum benefits of the colon hydrotherapy. ***4 days of juicing in - 1 hour before my appointment, I got a phone call that said I wouldn't be able to be seen that day because the therapist had 'an emergency'. After much persuasion, I was able to schedule for one hour later than I had originally scheduled. I got to the studio (a 45 min drive- and I left class early to go because that was the only time the therapist could see me) and I fill out paperwork for 10 min and the therapist still wasn't there......... I could tell the receptionist felt awkward for making me wait- so she put me on 2 sessions of 'whole body vibration ' machine. 30 minutes later the therapist shows up- and I get my treatment. Because of the therapist's tardiness- I ended up missing 3 hours of class (I am in a graduate program for Chiropractic...and attendance is very very important in my school). My second appointment was for the next Friday at 2:30pm. Because of the scheduling disaster that I already had, I decided to call on my way there to confirm my appointment. The receptionist said she 'didn't have me on the books' and that the colon hydrotherapist leaves at 12pm on Fridays...... glad I called to save me 1.5 hours of driving! So, I talked to the woman and she said come in 'Tuesday', and I confirmed the date and she ended up telling me the wrong date! AGAIN! ......3 weeks later I go in to have my second appointment (all my sessions should have been completed by now for the treatment to be effective)...... I left school early so I could get there on time for my 12pm appointment. I get all the way to the studio (45 min drive) and the receptionist said that the therapist was running late because there was 'Traffic on the freeway coming from Corona'.... and then a few minutes later the receptionist said that the therapist was getting gas then getting on the freeway, meaning SHE HADN'T EVEN LEFT YET, and SHE LIED TO ME ABOUT BEING IN TRAFFIC which was her excuse for not showing up until 45 minutes after my appointment time. I CHECKED SIG ALERT AND THERE WAS NO TRAFFIC ANYWHERE- MEANING THE THERAPIST LIED ABOUT BEING IN TRAFFIC-I even drove on the same freeway back to school and Saw with my own eyes that there was no traffic. I ended up saying I couldn't stay for the appointment, because the THERAPIST HAD ALREADY MADE ME MISS TOO MUCH SCHOOL. So, in essence, my 'second appointment' was me driving an hour and a half to and from this place to receive NO TREATMENT. I told them that the 'right' thing to do was refund me for the services. I said we can 'pro-rate' the treatment.... so in essence I would have paid for 1/3 of my services (because that is all the treatment I received)- but their solution was to give me $37.00 Back!!!!!! MEANING, THEY EXPECTDED ME TO PAY $75+ for ONE TREATMENT, which I could have bought on Living Social for $45!!!!!!! RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Review for Sauna - I like the location, love main street in seal beach; parking is whatever. The staff is so so, they've always been nice but not too accommodating (I think is the word to describe it). I did meet Kimba, and she is nice, but given the fact that she is the owner (I think) and can pretty much do what she wants with her own place, and wouldn't make a deal with me is bothersome. I bought the groupon deal(s) for the sauna, went for my first time and wasn't impressed; they don't have TVs in the rooms and the light in the sauna doesn't turn off (the other place I go to does). So after my first sweat session, I kindly ask if I can speak to her about it and maybe use my credit on something else, like the juices or the vibration machines; she said I would only be able to use it on another service (which is fine for me) but then said something like it would only add up to be $10 in credit; which doesn't make sense since groupon says the deal I have is a $99 value....... Not sure what happened, I wasn't going to 'argue' about it, so I just said never mind, I will just keep the sauna deal. I did not leave happy, nor mad, just a little frustrated. I don't like their sauna but don't want to waste the money I paid for the 10 sessions either. Oh well, lesson learned :) I really want to like this place too, just isn't happening yet. read more

I have been going to Julie for colon hydrotherapy since 2003. Not understanding much about it at the time, but yet driven to make the appointment due to extreme pain and no success in trying other treatments (including many appointments with my doctor) - I was more than a little nervous, I was terrified. First, Julie Ferguson is wonderful. She put me at ease immediately and she is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Second, words cannot not describe just how good you feel after one of these sessions. It's unbelievable (and kind of scary) what your body can end up storing for years that conventional detox programs cannot eliminate from your system. Went to WBV to use their infrared sauna. I was presented with a deal to purchase 10 sessions for a great price. After using the sauna for several sessions, I felt so great I decided to purchase 10 more. Prior to Christmas I was told they would be moving their studio to Huntington Beach. At this point I had 13 sessions left and was assured by the staff that I would be able to carry over my unused sessions to their new location, which was to be announced. Now nobody can find their new location, or them!! I am out $$ and feel as if I have been taken advantage of.
