Very rude. Very small selection. Overpriced for things you can find at the dollar store

just left this store May 8,2025 the lady who was there at around 1:45 had the worst customer service ever, we walked in and didn't even get a greet we looked around & then my mom asked her very nicely if she had anymore baptism supplies and she very very rudely was saying what do you want? what i don't know what you're saying you have to be more specific so i jumped in and said oh like little figures and she was like idk what that is? which obviously if she works in this she should have knowledge of this stuff overall 0/10 experience we were looking forward to finding stuff but with that attitude never again, and after looking at other ratings she's clearly the problem and making this business lose money, que señora tan amargada! read more

Love this place. Needed to make 12 Centerpieces on a budget for our company's Christmas party. Came here first, but made the mistake of going to a famous hobby store in downtown la, thinking i would find better prices. BIG MISTAKE. Was back as Whittier Crafts the next week to buy the supplies there instead. The ladies on their staff and the owner are very helpful. I love this place but the lady in the front is super rude and has an attitude. Just went in to get some paint after hearing the place opened back up. I chose to buy all the paint and I ended up choosing a few to go back on the shelf and the lady said I made her do twice the work. Sad to see that people don't have jobs during the pandemic and she's complaining about putting a few bottles of paint back on the shelf. read more

My son had an ancient Egyptian school project assignment. I decided to go Whittier Crafts store, it was recommended by another parent, she found lot items for her daughter 's project. In Whittier Crafts I saw molding clay, paints, fommi sheets, different size of esp foam, glue gun, Glue sticks ... many things were very useful for building up ancient Egyptian and price was very fair! We did not spent much Money in Whitter Crafts, but it took us three days to complete this school assignment, my son learn a lot from it, so as our parents. read more

I normally don't write any reviews unless a place blows me away but I had to give a shout out to Whittier Crafts. My fiance is planning our wedding and needed some craft supplies for our centerpieces. I was amazed at how much stuff that would be perfect for weddings. It's definitely saved my fiance (and my) time from running around to separate shops as this place has everything you would need and for ridiculously low prices too. I will probably be back numerous times in the next few months but just wanted to say I was very impressed at how much stuff they had. I came in here for baby shower stuff and the cashier who was in charge today Monday sept 3rd around 3pm was really rude. Not just to us but to everyone who was around us. She had no manners even a customer asked for advice and she pretty much said "you figure it out yourself". With us she pretty threw an order of pacifiers we had ordered. This lady seriously needs customer service training and manners. We spent over 100 dollars....was hoping to come back for other items for party suppiles but I will not be back. Terrible service. I came here to buy a BLANK foam photo frame and told me they would have it for me the next day. I wasn't told to place an order, but didnt think much of it, so I came in the next day asked the same woman and told me she didn't cut it. She had told me to wait 15 min for her to cut it. I was in a hurry and told her I would come back in 2 hours. Came back and it wasn't available. One worker gave me attitude and said that I should of placed the order so it could be available. Even the owner asked if there wasn't any pre-cut frames available.... OK. I've been here many times, so I don't know why they didn't trust me going back.
