Can I do 0 stars? I always get disgusted when people only portray someone as amazing after they have passed. There was another side of the story to this man as a dental professional. He was not only not professional in my case, his behavior was sadistic and supported by several of the employees of the office. I witnessed a disgruntled patient storm out during one of my initial visits and, dear God, I wish I would have followed him out that door! After the fact, I read several bad reviews from patients before me. My experience as a patient of this man was one of the worst experiences of my life. He was unable to properly anesthetize me; after several injections I was even left with a hematoma! He also injured the side of my tongue with the drill and he never acknowledged these injuries in any way. Then, I was given a rough, poorly made temporary device (that wouldn't stay on anyway) which aggravated the injuries, and that was never properly resolved after several return visits. When the permanent product arrived, of course it was all wrong. After many months of trying to resolve, this office was never capable of making an acceptable product, which I had verified by the new dentist I ended up going to. He kept my money of course and gaslit the hell out of me- claiming, "(he) knew I was going to be a difficult patient from the start." What he put me through was nothing less than torture. I've needed to say my peace about this for a long time and I'm happy that he is no longer hurting anyone else. I'm submitting this in hopes that others whom had bad experiences from Dr. John Whitsitt know that they are not the only ones. read more
