I had no idea how to proceed! Our planners name was Katie. This girl saved the day. She SAVED our reception! She transformed our home and yard into a beautiful wedding reception! Their were round tables and high top tables set up beautifully with linens and flowers in vases every where. It actually looked like our yard was meant for events like this! I had no idea it could fit this many people so comfortably! They came in and did all the work AND THINKING for us! Everything just magically got taken care of! Everything on my to do list was taken care of without me lifting a finger. We go so many compliments on our party and how great everything looked! The next morning I received a personalized text with the picture of the arrangement they made for my order. They're right - not once have I ever seen a real picture (from the business) of an arrangement I've delivered. The arrangement is just as described and identical to what was online. There were only 2 people working at the time and they were both at the stations building cars with customers. This is for sure the type of place that could benefit from having a greeter or just someone that can just help answer questions while waiting. I was lured in by the young man racing a radio controlled car our in front. It started out well, everything was fun, bright and colorful cars, lots of customization options. I watched families play with toy cars, I priced out several models, and seriously was trying to figure what to get. Perhaps I talked to the employees a bit much, old people do tend to over talk the staff, we get a bit lonely. But I was really enjoying the place. (even if it was a bit overpriced for what it is, think theme park toys) Imagine my shock when the staff got a call from the manger (who watches the employees remotely on a camera) that I was to be considered a loiterer (I spent too much time shopping and not buying fast enough you see) and was to leave the store. Staff apologized to me, but I had to go. I'll take my 800+ credit rating and my stack of empty credit cards to a real RC shop that does not treat customers like dairy cattle. Avoid, you can get better RC cars from a company that does not treat potential customers like panhandlers. Really disappointed, I wanted to bring my partner and I in to buy cars this weekend. But we will go someplace where we are wanted. They call this the "Build a Bear" of RC cars. But I've spent a lot of money at build a bear and NEVER been treated like this.

Paul was recommended to us by a friend - he was responsive, a clear communicator, his contract was simple and justified. He took time to understand us and what our vibe was, took care of all the details, made sure everything flowed perfect throughout the evening. We got married at The Whim, and he had great advice on where to place speakers during cocktail hour, the dance floor, etc so that everyone could hear well throughout the night. He honored our playlists we provided for cocktail hour and the dance party while still adding his own flair. He read the dance floor and kept it packed ALL NIGHT. The Sessions photo booth was perfect for what we were looking for and we loved being able to look through them all the next day! You MUST use DJ Sticky for your wedding, you will be in the best hands!!

The venue was a large hotel and there was a lot of running around, scrambling at the last minute to make sure everything was perfect! She put together all of the centerpieces-and they were stunning! The day felt like it went off without a hitch. I'm sure there were hiccups, but Kristin took care of them all before my husband and I ever heard anything about them. By the time we got to the wedding day, I was so comfortable with Kristin. We had emailed, talked a dozen times, and met in person as well. We lived out of state, and Kristin was very accommodating, often meeting when we were home around holidays. My husband and I are very organized, but it was wonderful to have someone with experience to bounce ideas off of and take a second look at plans. And all of this was before we even got to the wedding day! I loved having Kristin as a coordinator because she happily and promptly took care of anything we asked. On top of that, she ran interference and let us enjoy the day. Right before we sat down for dinner, Kristin let us know that she swapped two of the tables so a family member could plug in his oxygen tank. Kristin saw this need, took care of swapping the tables and informing the caterer, and then filled us in when we had a free moment. All of these little things throughout the day could have meant time my husband and I (or our close family members) would have had to take away from enjoying the event, but Kristin covered them all. At the end of the reception, I had asked my sisters to help my parents stay behind and clean up. Again though, Kristin had it covered, letting my exhausted parents go home to bed and my sisters out to party further with friends. The next morning, Kristin let us know that one of the groomsmen had forgotten to grab his suit when he left, and she offered to take it back to the rental store for us. Even though we did not hire them as a full wedding planner, Simply Elegant was there from the moment we hired them until the week after the wedding, always one step ahead of our needs.
