I'll bring my review up to date. I gave WGA a 5 previously on a 1 to 5 scale; but on that same scale I now have to raise the rating to a 18.5. During one set of visits WGA was instrumental, with a chiropractor, in taking me from using a walker to mobility. I learned during that set of visits that, while a chiropractor focused on 1 joint at a time, acupuncture the subsequent day exposed distant holding patterns, allowing me to mobilize tissues I had been ignoring. Feeling increasingly vigorous a while later, I took a really dynamic fall -- breaking a wrist and tearing the rotator cuff on the same side. Back to WGA after I healed those tissues but was stiff and moving poorly. Acupuncture the day subsequent to PT again exposed holding patterns, and was instrumental in getting upper body function back. A while later remnants of my many previous bodily insults, some quite old, were demonstrating to this octogenarian male that they could reinforce one another through the spine and fascia to limit motion. Recently I've been doing chiro monthly and using WGA after each visit and between visits, undoing many of those intertied insults and finding much improvement. As I jogged across a parking lot back to my car last week, I decided I should leave a review. And this week is better than last in both strength and ease of movement. read more

Until today I was under her care and she provided excellent care for earlier issues Recently when I requested an appt they provided information about the issue of masks and this was part of it: Patients are not required to wear a facemask if they have provided written documentation from a medical doctor that states the patient is unable to wear a facemask due to medical conditions. I've known Whitney for years. She is such an Incredible individual. This spring my allergies were off the chart. She has mentioned every fall/winter that I should see her BEFORE allergy and because we're friends it's pretty easy to blow her off. Right? We've all been there. So this year, once they hit I couldn't take it. I went to her office and she gave me that "talk". The "it's not going to be as effective as it could have been if I was pro-active versus re-active". She was a total liar . It was awesome. It may have taken more visits and 've never had an allergy treatment that wasn't drug based nor were any drugs this effective. I started seeing Natasha a little over a month ago. After going to another acupuncture clinic in the area and having no real results, I was skeptical but hopeful this would be different. HOLY COW! I am somebody who suffers from endometriosis and infertility. I noticed after the first appointment I felt a difference. Then this month was unlike any I've EVER had in that I had virtually NO PAIN! She is very precise with questions to see how you are doing physically and mentally since your last session - or how you are doing in general/what goals you might have if it is your first visit. It's great to have these honest check ins as it is further evidence of how much she cares, plus it demonstrates how any given treatment is going to be tailored to you and your needs. Sessions are exactly as relaxing as you would hope - appropriate background music to help you focus and help drown out any outside noise (which has never been a problem during my visits) and no interruptions save for one check in to make sure you're comfortable and/or to place additional needles. While I can't imagine acupuncture veterans having any complaints, people who are curious about, but have never experienced, acupuncture should look no further for the perfect introduction. Whitney demonstrates exceptional patience, gladly answering any questions and offering relevant information without ever being condescending or bogging you down with intimidating/unfamiliar information. I had my first visit to Whitney Green Acupuncture and this place is a class act! I came in really skeptical but am already noticing a difference. I have struggled for years with a really tight groin/hip flexor area which has made doing lunges, squats, etc impossible. Whitney went through all my health history, aches and pains to come up with a treatment plan. You can tell she really cares about her patients and has a really sweet demeanor. I first visited Whitney Green Acupuncture to help alleviate stiffness and pain in my hip flexors and lower calf muscles. From the moment I walked into her facility I felt comfortable. Her receptionist asks if you would like a glass of water, they personally walk you back into the treatment room. The treatment room is a nice comfortable temperature that has calming music playing. Prior to treatment, she asks multiple questions about your health, diet, exercise etc. She shows that she truly cares about her patients. Many people have an aversion to needles. Let me just say Whitney has changed my life. I was in a car accident back in June of 2017 and I went through DR visits and chiropractor visits for almost a year trying to get some relief and nothing was working. In March of 2018 my insurance cut me off treatment and so I was left wondering am I going to have to live the rest of my life with back and neck pain. I opted to visit this Acupuncturist after reading all the reviews but I have to say I am not on board with them. While I have no complaints about the office (it was lovely, clean, welcoming, and easy to find) I do have some concerns about the billing practices. I went through insurance and when I received my billing statement from the insurance company I saw that there was the $150 office visit (I was aware that there would be a charge for the office visit due to the time needed for intake and health history). But then there were two separate billings for acupuncture. When I inquired to the office about the reason for two billings it took several weeks (and two inquiries) to get a response. When I did get a response they claimed that they billed each 15 minute treatment separately. Hmmmm. Recommend that you get a full breakdown of the treatment, the costs and what to expect. I've been to other practitioners before and went through insurance as well and never had this kind of billing issue. read more
